There is an air of quality and professionalism the minute you walk through the curtain at Ga Ga “ Let the show begin “ and you customers are the stars . We arrived 30 mins early for our table a perfect excuse to try a delicious cocktail that became a pre dining experience which you should not miss . Mixologist is a word banded around but not here these guys are the real deal producing drinks shaken and stirred to delight and inspire . Paloma was a bitter sweet grapefruit delight with its salty rim a class act . Negroni was generously potent and perfectly blended the chiselled ice cube was a bit mesmerising leaves a smile on your face . Our table ready we sat and enjoyed the most delightful Asian inspired dishes executed to the highest standard with clean authentic flavours . Prawn and crab bao was a real star crisp succulent full of seafood sesame flavours. Fried chicken with hot sauce was in such an arena of amazing dishes that it didn’t deliver in such company , sauce over chicken made things a bit gloopy and lacked sourness not perhaps as I had imagined fried I think cristal crispy none the less pleasant , Rendang ox cheek was the star of the show a wonderful cut perfectly slow cooked succulent and melt in the mouth full of spicy sweetness a super dish . Laksa style Monk fish curry was warming creamy and delicious, the fish firm meaty and full of flavour . Almost the greatest surprise and delight was the fried greens , perfect al dente asparagus rolled in chilli and spice and all things nice . The castillo monjardin Grenache stood up well to the bold flavours and proved to be a good partner . Coconut crème brûlée ( more coconut please ) and pear with ice cream were a delightful end to a super meal that will live long in the memory . Service was prompt flowing and seamless what a great show .

The scallop starter was served cold with a sweet-and-sour flavour. I had expected the texture to be firm, but it was in fact soft and pleasantly tender. The fruit salad looked attractive and tasted decent, with slices of apple, melon, dried tofu cubes and red onion. The fried squid pieces were far too salty — I would have preferred to dispense salt myself. The prawn and crabmeat bun was delicious, with a crisp, golden exterior reminiscent of deep-fried Chinese buns. The pan-fried sea bream was cooked to perfection: the skin slightly crisp yet intact, and the flesh moist and tender, with excellent flavour. The Indonesian soy sauce fried rice was also very good. By the way, the environment is much nicer and cleaner than most dining places in Glasgow. And staff are also friendly. Better to get pre-booked.

I loved my visit to Ga Ga Kitchen. The crispy potatoes were a standout, some of the best I’ve ever had, especially with the unreal curry leaf mayo. The fried chicken and prawn bao were both excellent, and the nasi goreng was full of flavour with fresh summer greens. The chicken curry was rich and the oyster mushrooms had great crunch and depth, imo just slightly on the salty side but still delicious. The only miss for me was the tiger prawns, as I didn’t love the sauce. The coconut creme brulee was unreal. Overall, a fantastic meal. In my opinion, maybe not the best in terms of value for money but overall pretty good. Meal for two was ~£120. I would definitely return!

This place is amazing! We had a gift voucher to use so we took our 9 year old daughter with us. The menu is limited but do not let that put you off. My husband and I chose 2 dishes each which we both shared and my daughter chose from the kids menu. We also had desserts as can be seen in the attached photo. The food was 10/10. The service was exceptional. The owner and the manager are both lovely. We will definitely go back.

Excellent experience, great food. All dishes are delicious. The scallops are tasty, the fried chicken is delicious. Cabbage percik is super and the authentic nasi goreng. Don’t miss the poached pears dessert.

The food was amazing, really enjoyed trying bits of everything. And our server Rebecca made my friends birthday so so special with a cute candle we weren't expecting. The nasi goreng was amazing. Will definitely be back to try more.

Finally tried my first Bib Gourmand spot and had high expectations. Here’s how the dishes ranked for me: 🔥Prawn Bao, Green Coriander Mayo, £10 – The standout dish of the night. Light, fluffy bao with a perfectly cooked prawn and a fresh hit of coriander mayo - so good I could have eaten five of them. 🐟Sea Bream, Chilli Coconut Butter, Capers & Black Roe, £15 – Beautifully cooked fish with crispy skin and a vibrant sauce. The roe, capers and orange brought pops of flavour that worked really well together. 🥒Achar Awak Spicy Nyonya Pickles, £5 – A solid appetiser and palate cleanser. Loved the variety of pickled veg and the balance of acidity and spice. 🍗Fried Chicken, Sichuan Hot Sauce, Orange Zest, £11 – Juicy and crispy, but the Sichuan sauce was overwhelming. I expected more of that signature tingly heat, but it was quite mild, and there wasn’t much to cut through the punchy flavours. 🍛 Spiced Ground Sausage, Crab Claw Meat, Summer Greens, £18 – A bit disappointing. Very little crab meat and the flavour was hard to pin down - just didn’t hit the spot for me. 🍄Oyster Mushrooms, House Chilli Salt, £8 – The weakest dish. Bland, slimy and lacking seasoning. No spice or salt? Overall, I was slightly underwhelmed. A Bib Gourmand is a big deal, so I was expecting every dish to hit. Nothing was bad, but only one of the six dishes really wowed me.

visited Gaga Glasgow for my partner’s birthday. Everything was spot on: the food, the service, and the atmosphere. We ordered a selection of dishes and loved every single one. The prawn bao was the star of the show — crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and packed with flavour. We also had the pink kerabu noodle salad, the fried chicken (sticky, super tasty, and a definite favourite), the sea bream with chilli coconut butter, and the nasi goreng, which had a great spicy kick. The whole experience was fantastic. Gaga might be a fine dining spot, but it feels relaxed and homely — the perfect mix. Highly recommend!
