Had our engagement lunch here and we will definitely be back. The staff put some much effort into making it special for us! Food was amazing too!

Wine is absolutely delicious. Food is also top class but portion sizes don’t really justify the prices! Great staff all round too

From the moment we arrived, Gabriëlskloof swept us off our feet with its serene beauty. The large sunken ponds shimmered under the sun, creating a tranquil atmosphere that set the tone for a perfect day. Two of us indulged in a wine tasting in the elegant tasting room, and even though every wine was excellent, the Oxalis was the clear winner—elegant and full of character. Afterward, we had lunch at The Kitchen Door, and the food was absolutely delicious. The portions were generous and satisfying. One guest had the sirloin sando, another had the sirloin with a side, and the third had the fish carpaccio with a side. Each dish was beautifully prepared and full of flavor. For dessert, we tried the milktart and the affogato—both were a perfect sweet ending to a fantastic meal. Gabriëlskloof offers a wonderful combination of great wine, delicious food, and stunning surroundings. What a lovely place. We’ll definitely be back.

Living in Cape Town we have been to a fair number of estates, and this is easily right up there in our top 3 to visit. The view is amazing and the wines speak for them selves. Definitely coming back with the extended family.

Lovely tasting rooms in a beautiful setting. We arrived early for lunch at Farro so I popped in for a cheeky glass of Chenin. I was lucky enough to bump into the owner Bernhard. He made the excellent suggestion that I rather compare the three Chenins, whilst educating me about the farm and their grapes and wines. An excellent experience and naturally I bought a few bottles. Great place to visit.

This has been our absolute favorite stop when driving to Hermanus, Caledon or along the Garden Route - and wow - their new wood-fired restaurant is incredible... everything dish was perfection, and the pairing of Gabrielskloof wine was the cherry on top - we walked away with a case it was so delicious... since we were on a little vacation so I grabbed a few treats from their shop and I am not exaggerating - they have the best chocolate bar I have ever had... I am not even someone that is drawn to eat chocolate bars but wow... everything was so memorable, I could not more highly recommend !

Fantastic property location, deli, wines and restaurant. We stopped for lunch at the restaurant and the food was superb. One of the best burgers we have had. Service was great and the staff friendly, the atmosphere was relaxed. Prices we found to be reasonable. Nice selection of breads, cheeses and fresh foods in the deli. Nice selection of great wines. We will certainly be back for another visit.

Fantastic wine tasting experience. We did the Deep Dive tasting and couldn’t recommend it enough. The service was fantastic and we didn’t feel rushed at all. Bought a few bottles to take home!
