Started with the Asain Nachos, Fantastic! I would get them everytime. For supper I had the jerk chicken tacos. As a spice lover there spicest option was a perfect level to be spicy but not interfere with the flavor of this amazing meal. This restaurant is the Gem on Yarmouth and everyone should try it out!

Best place in Western Nova Scotia without question! Variety on menu was great and dishes ordered were full of flavour, wonderfully presented and served by great staff. Ordered the amazing Thai Street Fries, Butter Chicken and Butter Chicken Poutine. Everyone left very happy and will be back everytime we come to Yarmouth.

Went there for the first time last night. Food was great. Service was great. Will go again. Nice to have a restaurant that serves more than deep fried seafood and fries. Sorry. Pictures arent great was too hungry to take better shots lol

Gaia has a lot of options to choose from, whether it's your traditional Yarmouth fish & chips or some spicy jerk chicken poutine, you're never disappointed with the variety. I've been here a handful of times and the service has always been fast and helpful and the food is always delicious. I definitely recommend Gaia as a place to try if you're into trying out new things. (Pictured is the Lebanese plate)

Very helpful and friendly staff, and awesome food. Lactose intolerance catered for without a problem. What's not to like? 5 stars isn't enough - should be 10 stars.

Yelp
Lovely, friendly, thoughtful establishment presenting a diverse menu of different cuisine from around the world offered in vegan, vegetarian, and/or gluten-free variants (but in all instances, tasty and well-executed). Our group ordered the Hipster Burger, the Drunken Noodle, and the Burrito Bowl. We also got the hummus and bruschetta appetizers. Everything came out promptly and was served with a smile. (We also tried a glass of the local Nova Scotia Tidal Bay offering: a sweet and somewhat heavy white, just for fun - it wasn't bad). This is a great find in Yarmouth, tucked away in an unassuming faded yellow building at the far end of Main Street. Their online reservation system was a breeze, making the experience all the more enjoyable. I wish this establishment much luck and success, and look forward to stopping by again the next time we are in Yarmouth.

Yelp
Lovely service and an inclusive menu, but I had the fish tacos, and the most flavourful part was the pineapple ring garnish everything else just tasted like garlic salt. Hopefully this was just a menu miss.

Yelp
Excellent service. Interesting menu. Excellent choice if you'd like a switch from the typical seafood menus in this fishing town.

Yelp
We were visiting Yarmouth for a friend's wedding and stopped into Gaia for a quick bite. My GF ordered the Jerk Jack fruit bowl and I had the Bangkok street fries and both were excellent! We were impressed with overall presentation as well as taste/quality. Definitely visit Gaia if you're ever in Yarmouth, NS.

Yelp
I recently had a very bad meal at Gaia. the fish and chips were burnt ti a crisp. I am a regular customer and when I asked our waitress to inform the management I was ignored. I expected an apology. I will no longer be a regular. shame on them

Yelp
Arrived on time for a 6:30 reservation and were promptly seated. That was the last we saw of any staff member for 25 minutes. No water, no communication. Just the very loud restaurant noise. Eventually someone came to take orders, but still no water or bread. Unacceptable. Waitress complained she couldn't serve us earlier because she was busy; not an excuse as how long does it wake to provide 6 glasses of water. Abandoned the place in fear we would wait even longer for food. Also very, very noisy.

Yelp
Terrible service but good food I ordered from Gaia today and was told on the phone it would take 15 minutes to be ready. I showed up about 20 minutes later and paid. I was told it would be a 5 minute wait and that I would receive a call once it was finished. After waiting for around 15 minutes and seeing another person arrive and get their order, I decided to go back to the takeout window and ask if my order was ready. Turns out my order had been sitting on the table behind her with the other orders. I don't mind waiting a little longer but if you say that I'll be notified when the order is finished please follow through on that. I would have given one star but the food is good.

Yelp
My first try at butter chicken. It was tasty. Chicken ease s little dry but good. Hummus was yummy but not many pickled tomatoes Like last time. 2 of 3 appetizers were eaten and taken before mine came and then drinks. Which i asked for. Young man who went around giving water or picking up empty plates was always, ALWAYS running his hands through his hair. Was very loud but that's because it was a full house the whole time which is good in its own. Overall a great visit and we WILL be back.

Yelp
Our last meal before leaving Nova Scotia on the ferry in the morning. Food was absolutely delicious. I had fish tacos, flavor was unique and delicious. One of the best meals I had during my week in NS. Highly recommend.

Yelp
Yummy! Everything tastes fresh creating wonderful flavors with the tantalizing blend of spices. Service is friendly, helpful, and fast. You are missing out if you skip this gem. Our server, Lisa, was the best. Lovely evening having a wonderful dinner at a table overlooking the sunset on the bay.

Yelp
Great food! We loved the Thai Chicken tacos as an appetizer as well as the Dhaba Curry entree... the Black Bean Soup and special Pad Thai were good. Service was a bit distracted, they were busy. And the Creme Brûlée Cheesecake was delicious!

Yelp
The menu looked promising so we decided to come here the night before our ferry back home first thing tomorrow morning. We had the Kimchi Rice Balls for starters (veggie version), and the Carne Asada fries and Dhaba Curry for mains. Our companions ordered the Butter Chicken and the Butter Chicken Poutine. The Rice Balls were pretty bland and unimpressive, maybe due to the veggie version. The Carne Asada fries were not even warm enough to melt the cheese layer and continued to leave us disappointed. The Curry was okay but again pretty bland. Our companions got the Butter Chicken twice and it took the staff a moment to correct the order. My friend thoroughly enjoyed the Butter Chicken Poutine and I was happy that at least one of us seemed to really enjoy their food. While the order mishap had been corrected, the check was never updated to reflect the correct item. Overall not a place I would return to.
