I had a wonderful experience at Gaia Restaurant in Thamel. They offer a great variety of dishes including European, Nepali, and Continental cuisine, all prepared very well and full of flavor. The peaceful and cozy environment makes it a perfect spot for dining and relaxing. The staff and owner are extremely friendly, attentive, and make you feel right at home. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for delicious food and a warm atmosphere. Definitely worth every visit!

Great atmosphere, enjoyed dinner every time I come. Very Good services, and great peoples to have a dinner with. Every time I visit Nepal, visiting this restaurant is must for me. The peoples have become friend. They respected every customers and give very good foods at reasonable price. Hope they get a great season this year.

I love this restaurant that one of my tour guides recommended and have had excellent food and service. They are off a side street so it’s quiet and not flooded with tourists. The hummus was delicious, the Nepali set meal incredible and their lasagna incredible. And prices are local. It is certainly worth the trip here!

We have had really good meals and excellent service from the friendly and attentive staff! They cater for most choices, whether you enjoy your meat dishes, vegetarian or vegan.. A good place to stop in the Thamel area, that serves good, clean, and hygienic meals…

I recently visited the Gaia restaurant in Thamel. It is a hidden gem. Small but very relaxing environment with lots of greenery lol. It has a very good menu and the staff were very friendly. Would definitely recommend the restaurant. Well done everyone

An extremely overpriced place and not good food. We understand a place charging high but there wasn't any value for money here and the portion sizes weren't justified. We ordered 2 sandwiches grilled chicken - was extremely dry overcooked chicken, stale bread and zero seasoning/flavour. The vegetarian sandwhich wasn't good either, the lettuce wasn't fresh, very grainy bread. Only thing worthy was the coffee which was decent. Highly evaluate before visiting this place.
