Been going here for 10 years! It has the best 'french' style pizza. Delicious salads & sambos & soup. And the best sourdough! Lovely staff. Cosy & charming. And to top it all, Dog friendly!

Really friendly servers, a nice vibe on a thursday night and delicious food! The drinks menu was quite substantial and the baked goods looked amazing (but we didn't try any yet)! We just moved nearby and will definitely be back.

Family friendly restaurant doing French style pizzas with ementhal cheese. Their side salads are always tasty and fresh and their punchy garlic sauce is great. In the mornings they do fresh baked sourdough bread ( you need to be there early because they sell out quick) and their coffee is really good. They do sandwiches at lunch using their own sourdough - this place is a neighbourhood gem.

I had a croissant and a tea.. and sat while working with my laptop.. the place wasn’t crowded to say the least and i had a seat at the very corner alone.. However, they told me they needed the table back by 30 mins.. the store wasn’t closing anytime soon but they wanted me out of there for some apparent reasons even without anyone asking fr my seat.. I mean who does that? Incredibly rude

The coffee is exceptional! The customer service is lovely and attentive but not intrusive. The brioche is the stuff of pillowy indulgent dreams. It is a real neighbourhood place, I wish this was my neighbourhood!

The sourdough and pastries are out of this world. They are deliciously well balanced and the variety of sweet and savouries leave you wanting one of everything (thus why the pic shows us splitting up bites!!) The coffee was well balanced, a lovely cup poured well. Can’t wait to get back one day for sandwiches and pizza!

The pizza was soooo go. I had the Vegan one and my boyfriend the one with champignons, the back garden has a really nice atmosphere and same for the music . Found it randomly on the maps and was better than I was expecting, good quality ingredients

Super sweet proprietor. Pastries were all but sold out. We managed to get some of the very limited selection and they were delicious. No surprise they sell out daily. The interior was very nice and the patio seating was a welcomed surprise. Our drinks were brought to the table by the owner. She engaged in some great conversation. I wish we had the opportunity to return before we departed to the states. An absolute gem of a place.

If you are going for the pizza, I'd be really sure that you like emmental cheese. For me personally, it was a bit too much (and I saw other people ordering the pizza without cheese, so I think that might be the right move). I was hoping perhaps a chocolate ganache cookie might elevate the experience for me at the end, however, it wasn't that great either. Maybe it's better in the morning for pastries!

It was place on my to do list! So finaly we are here, it was perfect choice of the day I couldnt choose pizza for a long time, everything looks so yumm! REMEMBER it is dangerous to go there of you are hungry! We took 2 huge pizzas for 2 people: one it was chilly and pepperoni and second: pepers, basil. We ordered drink: i wanted to get lemonade( i thought it was homemade but it was from the bottle, little disappointment. Oh well, pizzas were gorgeous! Love the crispines of it. You can see that it is a log fire, and taste completely different from the electrical one. We couldnt finish those 2, we took it home and ate it for our lunch It was decent little place. We will come back to try different ones

This 'pizza joint' is a keeper and such a site for sore eyes when you're on Clanbrassil street... It's a French bakery by day and a wood-fired pizzeria by evening. The decor is modern and minimalist - reminds me of the lofts in San Francisco - very cool. There is a nice open-air feeling in the main space and an outdoor terrace to take advantage of on warmer and dry late afternoons. The chalkboard has a selection of about six home-made pizza's with fresh ingredients and you can watch as the baking is in full view of the patrons! No alcohol license just yet but there's an informal agreement with 57 next door - patrons can go pick up a pint of beer or a cocktail and bring it over to G&G or you can bring your own booze. The pizzas are very tasty - I recommend the chorizo! I also tried the spinach and mushroom which is exactly what it sounds like - healthy! Enjoyed it and took some home as the pies are 12"! The staff is super friendly and accomodating and they visit the tables often. It's 'pie time' we got a decent pizzeria in the 'hood!

I was so excited to try the new pizza place in our neighbourhood and was so disappointed when I didn't enjoy it. I just don't think the emmenthal is anywhere near as delicious as mozzarella. It's really chewy and goes hard really quickly as the pizza cools. Waaaaah. I really wanted to love this place but unfortunately the pizza just ain't for me.

A little bit off the beaten unless you live in the area, Gaillot et Grey is nonetheless worth the trek from the city centre. As others have said, the decor is pretty basic with a number of large shared tables but in a bright, airy and minimalist space that somehow just works. They have no drinks license so we brought our own bottle with us and, with no corkage, it made for a very affordable evening. Other diners were nipping into the pub next door and returning with creamy pints which isn't too shabby either. A criminally short list of pizzas (8 in all) didn't give a whole lot of choice but I opted for the Chorizo, my other half chose the spinach and mushroom and we were not disappointed. I prefer my pizzas on the doughy side but these were thin and crispy but so good that I forgot my prejudices in that department. It's not the kind of place you linger in so we were back on the street within the hour. They seem to do a brisk takeaway trade as well and their calling card is a very helpful mini-menu. Very useful given the oh so limited selection. Suffice to say we will be back, and soon. Recommended.

Our rental car serendipitously broke done in front of this marvelous bakery and pizzeria. After we called for help we got two fresh pains au chocolat which were, as the French would say, "comme il faut". (Perfect chocolate croissants done as in France.) Then we ordered two more! The lovely owners/bakers treated us so kindly and told us to sit in their front window to keep an eye on our car. We watched them bring out freshly baked round loaves of country-style bread to line up for cooling on the counter. This place is the real deal.

The worker taking orders was quite rude. I asked her if she had any vegan options and she immediately shook her head no and said "our cheese isn't vegan". When I asked if the crust and sauce were vegan she said yes so I said oh, I could get a cheeseless pizza (which I would have been fine with) but her attitude was so off putting I didn't want to give them my business. She was so quick to let me know she had no interest in accommodating me, that I ordered nothing and left. Out of all the people I have met in Ireland the last 11 days, she was the only rude one.

This is definitely one of the best pizzas in town. I would really recommend this place. They use good quality ingredients and their pizza is prepared in wood fire oven. Good choice of craft beers and delicious desserts.
