Galaxy Restaurant & Bar

It is a hotel bar restaurant which has a spectacular and panoramic view of Athens, including the Parthenon and mount Lycabettus (and the what I like to call them favelas of Pangrati and Vyronas). The prices are not following the greek standards but I merely accept this due to the stature of this hotel. It is absolutely reasonable to presume that they want to keep a certain level of guests visiting the bar which finds me absolutely fine with it. I highly suggest it for business meetings and quiet moments overlooking the Athenian horizon. Needless to say that the service was outstanding.

It is located on the top floor of the Hilton hotel. The 13th floor! The bar is circled through the windows and the tables are behind of it! Of course the view is great and panoramic but you have to stand up to view the city! If you sit in the outer area the view is magnificent in the first row of tables. You need to arrive early to find a table in the first row, before 21:00pm, or book in advance. The tables for dinner are separated and is advised to book in advance to avoid a table in the inner area. The prices are ridiculous high and I really can not see the reason why! There are so many nicer places in the city with similar view and much more reasonable prices. For example a simple coffee costs there 7.5E, the most expensive in the whole country if not the whole world! A drink can be as little as 14E and you can even order a bottle of champagne for 2000E! The waiters are very polite. perhaps a little more than they should! The music is really nice and relaxing but the dj's spot reminds one of a cheap night club! I can't find a reason to visit again!

Magnificent view all over Attica and the Acropolis. Friendly staff and tasty cocktails. Prices quite high but not that much - it's absolutely worth it (especially if it's your first time in the city!)

It's a stunning view of Athens. Stunning. Ideal for drinks. We went for a business dinner , sushi was totally basic. Salad was OK. Risotto, kritharoto were ok. Fish was very nice. Service wise, although the lady was very polite , the plates were overfilled so all tastes were mixed. Dessert was heavenly.

Wow! Such a wonderful experience we had at Galaxy! The views at nighttime were just amazing and our cocktails were perfect! Our hostess was pleasant and knowledgeable. She was so welcoming and professional. We will come back again next time we are in Athens!

Be prepared for what you will be getting yourself into. The bar is located on the rooftop of one of Athens's most iconic hotels, the Hilton, and prices definitely match both it's history and location. Killer prices but also killer view...

The balcony is overrated, way too much. There's nothing special about it, decoration-wise, view-wise, furniture-wise, even the lighting is plain and simple without much thought put into it. The interior is nicer but still not even remotely close to the best I've seen thus far. The music is nice, usually too low to be heard well outside. Not that I mind. The prices are ridiculous, the cocktail list is limited, most of them are leaning towards bitter taste, they are well made, but most certainly not worth the price asked. My friend who doesn't drink alcoholic beverages was limited in getting an energy drink, a plain can of RedBull for 10.5€!!! There are places in Athens and Greece in general with much better cocktails and at the same time with better view and better prices, actually much better prices.
