Galei Kinneret

We have been coming to Galei Kinneret for many years, and we always choose to return. The grounds are absolutely beautiful, with so many lovely seating areas offering a gorgeous view of the Kinneret. The hotel is beautifully renovated, clean, and incredibly relaxing. The view is unbeatable—the closest you can get to the lake. The staff goes above and beyond to ensure the best experience for their guests, and it’s clear they are dedicated to providing excellent service. The breakfast options are delicious, with a wide variety, and the waitstaff is always attentive and helpful. We also received a lovely fruit platter delivered to our room, which was such a thoughtful gesture. The location is perfect, and we are always so happy with our decision to stay at Galei Kinneret. We will definitely be back!

Amazing service, super clean and helpful staff. The pool was great, clean and lovely. Food was delicious, and the private little beach in the kinneret was a lovely spot to sit with a chair in the water. Cannot recommend enough! 10 times better than the location thats across the water

Beautiful hotel with amazing pool and spa. We really enjoyed our stay, however, be warned that the hotel staff may charge you for items you did not order. Upon checkout, I was presented with a bill that included multiple items I did not order. After explaining this to the hotel staff, they updated the bill accordingly. However, the day after I left the hotel they went ahead and charged me a second time for the erroneous items on my bill that I never ordered. I would highly highly recommend paying for all items you order in the moment with your credit card, otherwise there is a good chance you will be overcharged as well (especially if you are a foreigner than does not speak Hebrew). Unfortunate ending to a great stay

The room is designed amazingly, beds are comfortable, food is excellent!|Everything was perfect.|Keep the high standards and keep making the hotel interesting.|TV with Netflix made our vacation even better. Staff are nice and accommodating.

Overly pretentious restaurant. We needed the menu explained since the Hebrew one could not be understood by the three Hebrew speakers and the English version was only slightly better. Our waiter insisted on explaining each item in detail. The food was delicious. Only issue was when my wife requested that her leftovers be packed to take home, she was told the chef would not like that. It was finally resolved after asking the server, the waiter and finally the manager to do it, with the threat of an adverse review. I have been to fine restaurants in many cities where this is done with no questions, and the leftovers are presented in a foil swan.
