When you look at it from the outside, it doesn’t look like anything interesting. But when you go inside, you will find style, attention to detail, and fantastic food during dinner. Great views from the spacious rooms, with some offering a small outdoor jacuzzi. What wasn’t that impressive was the spa center. Small sauna and steam baths need attention. Starting with cleaning and maybe some renovation. The thermometer was absent from the sauna; it was small and burned. There is a small indoor jacuzzi with a powerful chlorine smell, and it is not very clean. Massages were good, but a bit more attention to the customer and the ritual can be implemented. Overall great experience and would come back for more.

We stayed at the hotel from Thursday to Sunday and had a very enjoyable experience overall. We booked a garden room with a jacuzzi. The room itself is small and a bit cramped, but still comfortable and the jacuzzi was relaxing and a great surprise. It is not very private, but it was a wonderful addition for the afternoons. The dinners were excellent, truly some of the best we have had in Israeli hotels. Breakfast was also good and varied. The pool area has a pleasant and relaxing atmosphere, although the pool is on the smaller side. The private beach was the highlight for us. It is peaceful, well-maintained and we spent many hours there. The only area that felt lacking was the spa. The relaxation area is not very inviting and does not feel like a comfortable place to sit after treatments. The dry sauna was also not warm enough, and overall the spa experience was less enjoyable compared to the rest of the hotel. There is definitely room for improvement in this area. The hotel is on the expensive side, but overall we had a great stay and would happily return, especially for the food, atmosphere and private beach. With some upgrades to the spa, it could be an absolutely exceptional experience.

Our stay at this hotel was extremely disappointing. We found a flying bug in our bed, even though we had not opened the balcony at all, which is completely unacceptable. What made the situation much worse was the behavior of the hotel’s Deputy Manager, Lital. We had to wait over 30 minutes just for her to be available, and when she finally spoke to us, her tone was condescending, dismissive, and disrespectful throughout the entire conversation. Instead of taking responsibility, she blamed the situation on the hotel being “busy” and claimed the cleanliness issues were due to the “type of guests” staying at the hotel because there was a promotion. She even hinted that guests who booked at a discounted price were of a “lower quality,” which was incredibly offensive and unprofessional. The hotel itself was far from clean. There were many empty cups and cigarette waste left near the main seaside area, showing a clear lack of proper maintenance and hygiene. Despite all of this, we were not offered any proper compensation. I am a visitor from the United States, and my sister-in-law is an disabled IDF veteran, and we were shocked by the level of service and attitude we received. Overall, this experience was below all standards. I would absolutely not recommend this hotel to anyone. It is not worth the money.

We had an amazing stay at Galei Kinneret! The food was very good and had a lot of variety — we especially enjoyed the breakfasts and the thoughtful touches throughout. The service was excellent, with staff who were consistently kind, professional, and attentive. The hotel is spotless and beautifully maintained. The view of the Kinneret is breathtaking, and the pool and surrounding grounds are stunning. We also loved the small private beach — quiet, relaxing, and a great place to start or end the day. I did a lot of research before choosing where to stay, and I’m so glad we picked Galei Kinneret. The experience lived up to the great reviews I’d read and even surpassed them in some ways. We’ll definitely be coming back and will be recommending this hotel to our friends and family.

I had an amazing stay at Galei Kinneret Hotel in Tiberias. Honestly, everything was top-level. First of all, the food was outstanding. Both dinner and breakfast were rich, generous, and seriously indulgent. So much variety, great quality, and everything felt fresh and beautifully served. It really added to the whole experience. The hotel itself is beautiful, very well maintained, with great facilities and a really relaxing vibe. The spa was excellent, calm, professional, and exactly what you want when you’re trying to fully unwind. A huge plus: they upgraded me for free, which was such a pleasant surprise and made the stay feel extra special. The location is also perfect, convenient, with a great atmosphere and close to everything you’d want in the area. But most of all, I have to mention Sewar from the front desk. Her service was truly exceptional, and I don’t say that lightly. I’ve traveled a lot around the world, and her level of service is honestly rare. She was attentive, warm, and incredibly professional. She listened, helped with everything, gave great recommendations, and it genuinely felt like she knew everything about the hotel. She made the whole stay smoother and better in every way. I’ll 100% be coming back. Highly recommended!

What truly makes this hotel a five-star experience is the amazing staff! Always smiling, kind, and ready to help with the best attitude - they make sure everything is spotless and that every guest feels happy and cared for. I would like to personally thank each and every one of them 🤍 As a couple who travels all around the world, I can honestly say this is one of the best hotel staff we’ve ever met! The food was also excellent - both Friday evening and Saturday morning. Considering it’s a kosher hotel and the food is pre-prepared, it didn’t feel like that at all - everything tasted fresh and delicious. The pool, the room, and of course the view were all fantastic! We 100% recommend this place and will definitely be coming back on our next visit to Israel.

We stayed at Galei Kinneret Hotel on May 31st, 2025 using a special discount for army reservists. Unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing.| • Check-in delay: Although check-in was supposed to be at 18:00, we had asked to get the room earlier since the pool closes at 17:00. Even at 18:00 our room wasn’t ready. We were offered a different “upgraded” room, but it was not what we wanted and we only accepted it so we could lock a personal weapon in the safe.| • Pool bar service: The pool bar was empty, yet the bartenders ignored us, stayed on their phones and chatted with others. It took half an hour to get a cocktail – which was both overpriced and not tasty at all.| • No water in the entire hotel: The next morning there was no running water in the whole hotel for the entire day. No shower, no toilets, no basic hygiene. We eventually had to leave the hotel without taking a shower or even using the bathroom.| • Compensation: After complaining, we were offered a day-pass voucher for another hotel in the chain. However, the voucher is not valid on weekends, July–August or holidays – which makes it practically useless for us. Even after follow-ups, management refused to provide any real compensation.||Overall, this was an exhausting and frustrating experience. As army reservists, we were hoping to rest and recharge, but instead we left upset and disappointed. Sadly, we cannot recommend staying at Galei Kinneret or at any hotel of the Israel Canada chain, due to the poor service, lack of care, and inadequate compensation.

The hotel exceeded my expectations. The hotel is very clean and the service was great. The breakfast was one of the best I’ve had at a hotel in Israel. The vibes at the pool and outdoor area are great. Highly recommend for couples!|If you’re looking for restaurants in the area- check out 1910 and On the river.
