Galeria Gitanjali

An art gallery with lot of arts exhibited made by local artists from goa. It has pretty good collection with different form of art. There is no entry fee, you have to write your name, phone no. In a register before entering. It's a small place with lot of art work

All houses are colourfully design seems very pleasant. Most visited spot in goa. Instagramable and photogenic place.

We came all the way from Assagao to this gallery and it was closed. It was not mention anywhere (website, Instagram and etc). They just open this gallery when they are in a good mood as I understand. Don’t spend your time but you can always take risk and check is it open or no.

Situated right opposite the heritage hotel Panjim inn in the colourful fontainhas area Gitanjali Gallery , named after the owner's daughter the gallery has exhibitions year round. The place is spacious and usually the exhibitions are of popular artists. The building has old Portuguese architecture giving the place a rustic charm. Go here to see the vibrant art culture in Goa

They were closed and suddenly they opened up at 10:45 with people outside not knowing when it opens or closes. Alart from that, the direction to the gallery were clear. The paintings were very nice with some of them really challenging boundaries of conventional thinking. I appreciate the work put up. One can also buy those paintings, some of them are from 15-20 years earlier.

Pleasantly surprised by its charm and unique atmosphere.The gallery itself is housed in a beautiful colonial building.The space is filled with a variety of artwork, including contemporary Indian art, European paintings, and sculptures. One of the highlights of my visit was the opportunity to explore the beautiful house that is connected to the gallery.Unfortunately, photography was not allowed inside the house, but I was still able to appreciate its beauty and unique architecture. The staff at the gallery were friendly and knowledgeable, and they were happy to answer any questions I had about the artwork. Overall, I had a very enjoyable experience at Gitanjali Gallery Fountainhead Goa, and I would highly recommend it to anyone who is interested in art or exploring the hidden gems of Fontainhas
