I loved this beautiful store. Great spot for purchasing real local artwork. Everything is handmade and very high quality. I found the prices steep for the prints, but reasonable for everything else.

The best of the small artisan shops in the area. Prices seem very high to me, but other shops have high orices for lower quality goods. The selection of Oaxacan alebrijes is particularly good here, but prices start around $650 Mx and go to $6000 Mx and up. Open every day.

While most of the items are not from the Yucatan (many are from Oaxaca) this place is a visual treat. They have inexpensive, unique souvenirs to more expensive artisan pieces. I visited the shop twice when I was in the area.

Loved this beach side gem. Prices are set and there's no bartering which was quite the relief for me! Thier pieces are very unique and authentic, my only regret is I wish I had more room in my suitcase to get more of thier art pieces home safely!

Great folk art place and not really all that expensive. Some beautiful stuff. Can be hard to find open.

Tienen cosas muy muy bonitas pero 1. CARISIMAS nivel enfermo. Como 8 veces lo que cuestan en otros lugares 2. El trato es muy pobre. Muchas restricciones de no tocar e incluso no tomar fotos. Compramos unos aretes de plata con piedras y una piedra se despegó. Lo llevamos a cambiar y fue un show: no tenían iguales, lo cual está padre de alguna manera pero por otro lado tampoco tenían nada del mismo precio. Elegimos varias opciones que costaban menos pero no nos regresaban la diferencia. Tuvimos que comprar algo diferente de precio más alto. Son muy poco flexibles con sus reglas y como que siempre ellos son los que tienen que ganar. Eso podrían haberlo manejado de otra manera porque a nosotros ya nos perdieron como clientes. Y estoy seguro de que no somos los únicos. Me pregunto cómo tratarán a los extranjeros.

Me fascino esta tienda!! Tiene tantas cosas bellas! La recomiendo por su gran variedad y calidad. Tiene piezas muy creativas y originales de una delicadeza absoluta. Ahi puse unas fotos para que vean lo que digo. Nos llevamos unos hermosos recuerdos de nuestra visita a Akumal.
