20 Best Culinary Experiences and Food Tours in Paris

"Galeries Lafayette Le Gourmet is the food hall associated with—and across the street from—Galeries Lafayette, the iconic Parisian department store. It's its own four-story temple that's completely dedicated to eating, drinking, and home goods. You can really do a number on your credit card statement at Petrossian's caviar restaurant or at Maison de la Truffe, which specializes in (what else?!) truffle-infused dishes, but your best bet is to head straight to the Alain Ducasse chocolaterie for a box of stellar bonbons or a hefty jar of homemade Nutella." - Catherine Down, Lindsey Tramuta

I recommend coming to treat yourself! Foodie Paradise! A visually exquisite and refined display of heavenly treats. Shop after shop of delectable treats. Beautiful spot with tons of options - they had something special for everyone! A luxurious and stunning display of decadent foods. I recommend coming to treat yourself! It was pricey, but I would still recommend it just for the visual.

Located in a separate building across from Galeries Lafayette Homme, Gourmet has some of the nicest bakery and pastry options in the city, along with restaurant, home, and technology floors upstairs. The ground floor gets extremely crowded on weekends, especially after midday, so I’d recommend going early if you want to grab a pastry or sandwich with a coffee. Seating is limited and almost impossible to find later in the day on weekends. Toilets are on the very top floor, in case you’re wondering. Not the most practical for customers, but it does help keep random passers-by out.

A True Culinary Paradise Galeries Lafayette Le Gourmet offers a truly unforgettable experience — a heaven of food, sweets, drinks, and culinary delights beyond imagination. From artisanal pastries and gourmet chocolates to fine wines and international delicacies, it transports you straight to a gastronomic heaven. A must-visit for any food lover!

Google
There were tons of options for food and desserts. The desserts were so beautifully done. It seemed like pricing was pretty high in this area compared to similar items we were able to find in less touristy areas.

Google
This is a fantastic gourmet market. The meats, cheese, chocolates, ice-creams and pastries are out of this world delicious. Great service. Go out of your way to come here.

MY GOD the people serving at the bakery and cashier are so slow to the point it’s insulting. I lost 30 minutes to buy a single bread. Who is the manager of this place that clearly is not very knowledgeable because it’s not rocket science to plan accordingly an adequate and competent team to satisfy demand. Really shameful, stingy experience coming from a place that is supposed to have a bit of knowledge of quality. And on top of that, this carrot cake was so old it tasted fermented. Like the quality control of food is not up to the level it should be. I had to throw it away, just like my time on this place.

Google
This place is basically an upscale supermarket — came specifically for the famous cheese! You’ll find it in the fridge to the left of the live cheese station. For an extra 1 euro, you can get it vacuum sealed at the cashier. They’ll bag it for you and then walk you over to the sealing machine to complete the process. I didn’t have time to explore the rest of the store, but if you do, it’s worth a look — they’ve got a range of unique and gourmet food items.

Google
This place was expansive and had everything you could possibly want! I would highly recommend making time to experience this place.

Yelp
This place is very busy with many food options for all. There are stands to just buy things as well as places to sit and eat. It located across the street from the gallery with the roof top view. We went just for the giant croissant from the Philippe Conticini stand. It cost approximately 37€. It was very good. They do sell out so if this on your agenda get there earlier. Also they only put it in a bag with paper on top. So if you plan to continue around town you will want to ensure you have something to wrap it up in. Remember you are in France. We also grab two other deserts that were also amazing in taste. We did try a cake they called their Christmas special but we didn't buy it. It reminded us of a sponge/carrot cake with orange flavor

Yelp
I was so excited to visit Galeries Lafayette Gourmet! The floor was filled with a variety of famous dessert shops and bakeries! My first stop was Pierre Hermé, my favorite shop! I got the Ispahan, which was on a whole different level of macaron quality. The raspberries were naturally sweet, and the cream was absolutely delicious--not too sweet. Next, I visited Pierre Marcolini, my favorite chocolate shop! I got several praline chocolate boxes, and they were incredibly delicious. The chocolate melted in my mouth. Truly great products! Next, I found Le Chocolat, Alain Ducasse's chocolate shop! I got the Children's Chocolate Series box, which features mini chocolate bars with animal prints on them. Very good products! I passed by L'Éclair de Génie, Jean-Paul Hévin, Alleno & Rivoire, Philippe Conticini, Louis Fouquet, and many more... Due to the limited time we had, I couldn't browse all the shops, but this place made me so happy. I definitely want to visit again to explore more shops on my next visit.

Yelp
Wow, this place is amazing! First, the building was impressively clean, especially considering the large number of people passing through. Second, you can likely find any food item you're craving. I'm glad I stopped in before catching my flight because I was able to pick up a few food souvenirs to take home. Third, if you're looking for a place to dine after a long day of shopping, there are plenty of options to choose from on the top floors. While the prices are on the higher side, you get what you pay for. I stopped at Bagnard for their outstanding truffle risotto, and I couldn't have been happier with my decision! I still dream about its quality flavors, the creaminess, the presentation. The staff were very kind, even to tourists (as long as you use proper French etiquette). I didn't encounter any of the rude behavior that some people mention. Overall, I really appreciated the warm hospitality this place offers!

Yelp
This place has tons and tons of pastries, desserts, and chocolate. Definitely overwhelmed with the variety of options. It's always super busy, so be ready to be sardined! There are a couple of restaurants, but they close kind of early. I believe the second floor has a few wine bars. There's also a little market inside. Totally worth checking out!

Yelp
Love, love, love this place! Go and make yourself a charcuterie dinner.. they have everything you can think of here for a fabulous dinner. Don't forget to get butter to take home - get it air vacuumed for 1 euro. I had a great woman help me pick a ton of flavors to bring home. It worked well in my suitcase since it was November. The store is wonderful as well.., so many things to look at and it's all beautiful! I wish I had gone back more than once.

Yelp
OMG, I've been all over the world and have never seen a foodie place like Galeries Lafayette Gourmet. All I can say is "wow...!" and "if you're in Paris, you MUST go". Probably 15 small, very nice restaurants, and another 25 pastry, ice cream, cheese, meat stalls. Amazing. A must see in Paris. Go hungry...

Jed P.

Yelp

Yelp
This is the food section, food court of the Galeries Lafayette. The main mall with the clothes, fashion and more is across the street. But we did enjoy this one here a lot more. To travel means to eat for us. And this Gourmet hall here is spectacular. You will find lots of stalls and counters of more and less know chefs and artists, smaller restaurants to grab a bite or real restaurants (upper floor) to sit down and dine. There's also a great grocery section in the sublevel. Chez Meunier has wonderful bread, patisserie, cakes and more. There's a long line, but very much worth the wait. Best bakery we think in Paris so far. Then there is Maison Boissier that also sells Marrons glacés. In different price classes. We bought a box of 12 pieces for 60 Euros. That might sound crazy. But they are really also crazy good. Amazing. Surely these two places were worth the visit already. Given a bigger budget we would have spent a lot more time and a lot more money here. But we just had some lunch at the (quite disappointing) Fish Point and then did some shopping in the sublevel. Great saucisses and saucissons, spices, honey and truffles of all kind. Wonderful, high quality products for every budget. A wonderful Gourmet Food court. We will definitely back here next time in Paris. With a bigger budget.

Yelp
This is my favorite market in Paris. The food quality is amazing. Fresh fruits, fresh seafood, a beautiful section of spices and rare salts and a must the amazing dessert stations. Service is on point everyone ready to serve you and welcoming. Many options here from some of the best pastry chefs in Paris and chocolatiers. We tried so many different yummy treats and none disappoint. Don't miss Yann Couvreur desserts the pistachio is to die for-forgot to take a pic and Alain Ducasse chocolates and Pierre Herme macarons. A must go when in Paris!

Yelp
This place was EXCELLENT! Every booth worker was friendly and outgoing. Smiles everywhere. I first went here alone on reconnaissance - and I couldn't believe my eyes. Ice creams, all types of different foods, bakeries, pastries, chocolatiers, a full gourmet supermarket with wonderful fresh fruit selection. I waited until my wife arrived before sampling the wares. At the entrance is an ice cream place and they had lemon ice cream that was out of this world. I had a small incident where they asked if I want whipped cream and said yes but only a small amount. In Paris - just take it how it is - it will be awesome! We purchased smoked peppercorns from a West Indies spice company. We ate some food at a Greek restaurant and it was great. Chocolate Babka from one of the bakeries with while hazelnuts was heavenly. We spent 100 Euros on fruit and ate fruit for late lunch daily. It lasted the whole week. Every booth had something unique - they have a chocolatier here that makes everything in house and you can go to their factory and see how the chocolate is made from bean to finished product! The have a butchers market with whole leg of lamb. It's an experience - and this market is right near the opera house. It's a MUST to visit! The ambiance is bustling but friendly and there is a buzz of excitement. All the vendors exhibit joy and it is extremely clean and organized. Some of the displays - even how the bread is stacked - they are fantastic!

Yelp
OMG! I wish we knew about this place from the beginning of our trip to Paris we found out about it last night and today is our last day in Paris so we stopped by to check it out and wow. Just wow. Food heaven. You want macaroons? There's at least 4 of them here including Jean Paul hevin & Pierre hermé. Chocolates and pastries galore. There are butchers cutting meat, cheese shops with cheese as far as the eye can see. There's a grocery with fruits and frozen food as well as refrigerated goods and snacks. We found truffle and caviar flavored chips as well as foie gras heaven... We even found a spice shop that serves different salts and spices... and a tea shop. Just go and check it out. You won't regret it.

Yelp
This is a little foodie slice of heaven. Fabulous wine store with very helpful staff. This place has stations curated by well known chefs featuring chocolates, eclairs, cakes, jamon, cheese, charcuterie, to go Chinese food, cakes...... really too many specialty foods to mention. You can sit and eat at one of the many restaurants - we opted for Dim Sum. Besides the little eateries, specialty treats they have a specialty grocery store - including fruits, veggies, meats, fish....WOW - overwhelming. They also have 2 floors of very cook cooking gear, dishes, wine accessories....If you've ever been to an EATALY it's like that but X20. LOVED IT!

Yelp
One of the best places to get those "supermarket souvenirs" to bring home with you. GLG is located just across the street from the main store (not really marked on internal store maps). Once inside, you'll be in a wonderland of delicious food. The ground floor is full of counter service restaurants (oyster bar, sushi, etc) and famous chocolatiers like Alain Ducasse. If you want to grab a glass of wine and a fancy snack, you'll have lots of choices. Downstairs is the "epicerie" or grocery store, offering pretty much every kind of luxury grocery you can imagine. It's Whole Foods meets Nordstrom. If you love a French thing you'll probably find it here - Christine Ferber jams, Mariage Freres tea, Fauchon biscuits, Angelina hot chocolate mix and so much more. I've brought many a gift home from here and they've been happily devoured!

Bob T.

Yelp
Love the food, but minimal places to sit and eat. It can be confusing to find which server is at which area and which seating. Once you do, the seating is so close to the wait line, it's hard to enjoy your food. Tip: get the food, go back to your posh hotel lobby or room and take your time... Try a cheese filled sweet pistachio treat. Yes!!!
google avatar

Thien H.

Yelp
This fancy "food court" is awesome. From the bright displays of fruits and veggies to the food stands - everything is displayed beautifully. I even enjoyed it more than the food court at Harrod's in London. The tomatoes were gorgeous! The passion fruit I bought was tasty. I don't know if I could afford to shop here regularly as a local, but as a tourist this place is great! I would love more seating though. A seating area where you could eat tomatoes, cheese, bread and drink the wine you just bought from the food court would be convenient if you didn't have time to go set up a picnic in a park somewhere. We went here twice in one day. Éclair de Génie for breakfast. We ended up deciding on Yves-Marie Le Bourdonnec (meat shop & restaurant/stand) for dinner. It was great. I loved the beef tartare here.
google avatar

Yelp
Fantastique! I could've spent hours here! But, my husband wasn't so keen on going down each and every aisle. On the ground floor, there are patisseries, food shops selling everything from jamon to pasta, Chinese food, and bread. The lower level is more of a grocery with pate, cookies, candies, chocolate, mustard, prepared food, and fresh produce. It reminds me of the Japanese department stores but much less crowded and smaller. Prices here seem reasonable and not too inflated even though it's in a major department store. I wish we had something like this in the US. It's an excellent place to purchase goodies for friends and family. Lots to see and buy! Don't forget to bring your reusable bag. Happy shopping!

Yelp
If you like food, especially if you like dessert, you must visit La Maison Gourmet. It's going to be expensive. but it is going to be worth it. This is a collection of about 15 small establishments, each offering a different kind of gourmet food by a celebrity chef. There is one place for chocolate, one for sandwiches, one sells macaroons only, another one organic sandwiches and quiche, there is an indian spice shop, fresh seafood, ham, etc. etc. The floor below is a supermarket and the two floors above are a kitchen accesories store. Perfect for all food lovers or lovers of food lovers.
google avatar

Rolly T.

Yelp
Very busy mall. So when you think of mall in USA - you have individual stores- here the store has no walls and everything is in one roof. Pricing is good especially for perfumes, French clothing, and high end bags. Watch out for the Asian tourist - long lines in high end bags. If you spend greater than 175 euros, you can get your VAT(value added tax) in the store - about 18 percent - if you don't redeem that day- you have to deal with in the airport- but got to show that you have not used the purchased item yet. Small food court upstairs, make sure you head to the roof to view the city and Opera building.

Yelp
I visited Le Gourmet for the Wine Tasting in Le Cave. It was amazing! We sampled some great wines and the Sommelier taught us a lot about wine complexity, tasting, etc. I left more knowledgeable and am excited to use what I learned moving forward. Le Gourmet also has several restaurants as well as typical grocery shopping. From fresh seafood to prepared foods, you can find anything you want here.
google avatar

Yelp
Beautiful and bountiful display of all foods imaginable! Tea, coffee, wine , beer, pastries, gelato, breads, produce , and more.. all in glorious displays , in cases, in barrels, freezers, refrigerators, hanging.. there are tables in which you can eat or you can take to go.. do not miss this while in Paris..this is your friend
google avatar

Mark M.

Yelp
Many many different foods here, chocolates, mountains of spices, sandwiches, to name a few. They also gave home furniture like chandeliers. The staff is very friendly and know how to get you the answer to any product question at hand. When asked about an item, the salesperson immediately called it up on her iPad and started giving the details.
google avatar

Nola G.

Yelp
The gourmet food section is incredible and they have shops from great local restaurants but I really wanted to give Les Caves Galeries Lafayette a shout-out because they have an incredible selection of French wines from all regions and all varietals. The area is actually run/leased by Duclot la Cave. The sales people are unpretentious, patient, kind, and eager to help. I hope to take a testing soon! duclotlacave@duclot.fr

Yelp
Sooo yes a gourmet market. Paris known for its amazing pastries and rich robust food that satisfies. It has a wonderful market Galeries Lafayette (Galeries Lafayette Haussmann). It's a must see and a must try. EVERYTHING in there looks amazing so please bring your appetite and some extra cash lol. It's 3 floors of yumminess, you will not be disappointed.
google avatar

Kaitlyn K.

Yelp
Lovely upscale department store with beautiful architecture and thoughtful eye to brands and experiences. We roamed around La Cave (wine store) and were helped by a very knowledgeable associate. We also explored the spices that were both fragrant and colorful. They had several outposts for famous Parisian establishments as well as stands unique to Galeries. Lovely area to spend a few hours!
google avatar

reza h.

Yelp
Good and decent collection of the goods and brands in one of the most beautiful cities of Europe. Basically you can find every single famous brand here in Lafayette .
google avatar

Rebecca A.

Yelp
Tried Madison de la Truffe. Foods are phenomenal for the price! 23€ for risotto with truffles? It's a bargain! I would go back any day! Service is great! They serve hot food between noon to 7pm!
google avatar

Jam C.

Yelp
A whole building dedicated to food?! What's not to love? There is one thing but let's talk about that later. First, this place houses 3 of my favorite things in Paris, Pierre Herme, Sadaharu Aoki and D'eclair de Genie. The ground floor is also an amazing grocery store that sells gourmet items on top of fresh meat and vegetables. Looking for Bordier butter, aka best butter ever, they have different kinds here. Missed getting hot chocolate at Angelina? They sell bottles of the stuff here too! The only downside are the restaurants inside. They're pretty overpriced especially the Asian place. And the food was just okay. So skip the restaurants here and just grab delicious pastries and stuff from the grocery store on the ground floor to bring back to your AirBnB for an amazing home cooked meal. This building is not connected to the main building or the men's building but is located directly in front of the men's.
google avatar

Paul O.

Yelp
This is a food lovers paradise! Numerous gourmet shops ranging from Alain Ducasse chocolate to Indian spices. Prices are reasonable especially at the grocery store-type place on the lower level. We had take-out dim sum here one night which was decent both in price and quality (i.e., 3.5 stars and we'd do it again). We also bought two loaves of Poilane bread, some cheese, and some freshly squeezed orange juice (2.6 euros for 1/2 liter). Only downside is that there is really no place to sit and eat unless you're eating at one of the restaurants. We were mainly buying food to eat at our hotel or on a picnic, however, so this was fine for our needs.
google avatar

Julien L.

Yelp
Horrible, It looks all nice and glitzy, But you pay a premium for disgusting microwaved food. We went to the dimsum /wok place. Sat down at their restaurant bit We ordered wok du jour. Wich shld be freshly made, in front of you. As you expect wok to be and certainly in such a glitsy place. And without any gène, they get it out of the fridge, and they microwave it?! Who does that! And in such a luxury spot. We were expecting quality, not a upgraded TV-lunch... So we refused the food. They excuse is, yes it's written on menu ( no it isn't by the way...) or if you see traiteur you shld know we microwave.. It's fresh in the morning, they said. It was 17h30! No thanks, no mush for us at a premium, or ever.. What the.... We refused the order And went on... Never returning again.
google avatar

Nikki C.

Yelp
A one stop shop for anything you'd want from Parisian cuisine. A foodies paradise. Pricy but worth it if you're interested in high end food.

David K.

Yelp
Omg the food is terrible. I don't understand the 5 star reviews. People are fooled by how pretty it is. We got everything in site. Dim sum, pizza, salmon and so on. Threw 3/4's away and wasted 200 euro. Desserts were good and bakery. Avoid anything else if you have knowledge of food.
google avatar

Toma T.

Yelp
We come to this place every time we are in Paris. They have some of our favorite food places in Paris. Terres de Cafe recently opened their first location here in the Galleries Lafayette Gourmet and it is definitely the best third wave coffee shop in Paris. L'Eclair de Genie is our favorite dessert shop. The passion fruit eclairs are the best!! We also had lunch at Maison de la Truffe and had the most delicious Italian food.
google avatar

Alex D.

Yelp
Exceptionally good. I did all my shopping here for 5 days I stayed here. The food is good and pastry shops are in a completely different class. Exceptionally good. Just avoid drinking coffee there.
google avatar

Tien T.

Yelp
This is a food megastore! I visited this place while trying to kill time before doing a guided tour at the Palais Garnier ( it's located across the st) The basement floor is a grocery like area with a sweet fish market/eatery. The first floor is a little cafeteria, the second floor are kitchen products and the top floor is general house supplies. The market is pricey, but what isn't in Paris? It seems like it may be just an eye catching novelty sometimes but I still had a great experience exploring.
google avatar

Oskar W.

Yelp
The French people are doing good when it comes to supermarkets. Lafayette Gourmet is a lovely supermarket. You can stock up on all the traditional take-away stuff including Asian food, Italian food and whatsoever. The basement includes a large cheese counter, a butcher etc. The place is fine, but doesn't come close to The Grande Epicerie at Le Bon Marché. Lafayette is way behind the large offering of Le Bon Marché. Their prices seems to be a bit higher too, so I would prefer Grande Epicerie. Having said that, this place isn't bad - and, if in the area, I would gladly visit it again.
google avatar

Annette A.

Yelp
This is one of the most impressive place I have been in Paris. This department store has everything from clothing to perfumes to spices meats . Its impressive to look at the building . A place to visit. I only wish I could buy online their teas. I have never smelled or tasted such soothing teas. Please visit if ever in Paris
google avatar

Claire L.

Yelp
Love a trip to Lafayette Gourmand. When all the art gets too much, some food porn is just the trick. Part supermarket, part food mall, there's loads of options. Truffles, charcuterie, cheese, breads and cakes, there's something for everyone. I've eaten in here twice - first at the Russian place which does champagne, smoked salmon and caviar and the second time at the Greek place. Both offer small and larger plates to suit different appetites and budgets. It can be super busy, especially at the weekend and near big holidays like Christmas and New Year. Food is tasty and hits the spot after lots of sightseeing and shopping. Being gluten free, I just ask staff for advice as to what is suitable and I've had no issues.
google avatar

Sammie B.

Yelp
Just when I thought that Galeries couldn't get any better, I realized they had a whole other building just for food. You can find anything here- from the mini pâtisseries (everything from Pierre Hermé to Sadaharu Aoki) to the Maille boutique to the fresh produce. You can even shop for spices and salts in the lovely little spice boutique! It's a great place to go if you're looking for a quick bite or souvenirs for the gourmand in your life.

D N.

Yelp
Wandered in here on my last night in Paris. What a wonderful discovery! This is a great place to get last minute gourmet gifts for souvenirs for loved ones or to pick up a quick bite to eat. Picked up some boxes of macarons on the ground level as well as a hot meat and cheese sandwich on French bread and two financiers for takeaway. Had the caramel financier and the Nutella financier and have to say that the Nutella was the winner of the two. Had never had a financier before; they tasted somewhat like a Madeleine but more dense. Don't miss the lower level. They have great gourmet options for souvenirs at a much better price than duty free. I regret not buying more while I was there.
google avatar

Mia B.

Yelp
This review is for the market. My friends and I wanted to buy some meat, cheese, fruit, and wine for a picnic. Meat: Very friendly service; you can try different prosciutto and salamis. Amazing selection at reasonable prices. Cheese: Great quality and selection of cheese. We had a stinky creamy cheese (the name has escaped me) presented in a small ceramic bowl that was delicious. Fruit: Cherries and cumquats were fresh. Overall helpful, polite, and enjoyable.

Yelp
A perfect place to try French specialties without paying an arm and a leg in the process. This place is amazing, a whole wall of various olive oils, another large cooler filled with nothing but various types of butter... Luckily we had rented a nice apartment in Paris with a reasonably well equipped kitchen, so often the best tasting and most economical dinner was to be had by bringing home some wonderful dishes -- boeuf bourgignon, veaux a la provence, etc. Yummy! With few exceptions, these meals turned out to be the most memorable of our stay in Paris.

Vange B.

Yelp
1. L'Atelier Maison de la Truffe - This is a fun place to casually try truffles in a dish. We found this bar style eating area by noticing the truffle smell behind us in the bustling Galeries Lafayette Gourmet. The waiter was friendly. It's fairly easy to find a seat open up just in time. Looking back this was quite an expensive basic pasta meal but how else to easily try the famous truffle without committing to a restaurant. I thought a plate of gnocchi would be too heavy so I ordered Tagliatelle with truffes - I couldn't taste the truffle specks in the cream sauce after starting with a slice of truffle. It's a clean earthy taste. If they increased the portion of micro-planed truffles to 1 slice per forkful of pasta, it might be more worth it. K had the Gnocchi with Parmesan Cream and Ham, Black Melanosporum Truffle This was a savory dish, glad I learned how to make parmesan cream sauce by sitting near the cook - add a lot of parmesan. The gnocchi was pillowy soft and savory like it was soaked in broth but I realized it was the parmesan cream. It is rich and what one should order but they almost ran out of gnocchi. The non-alcoholic beverage there is Coke Zero. It's a fun location if you're a people watcher, across from the dim sum area and near the spices booth which smells amazing, make sure to stop by and get some fragrant whifs. 2. Pierre Hermé macarons - delicious and inspirational ispahan (lychee & raspberry) - images of biting into a real lychee came to mind when I bit into this rose and jasmine - the jasmine - thoughts of SF Chinatown sandalwood soap came to mind biting into this I tried a monoprix pistacio macaron earlier in the day (€ 0.90 ea) - the difference is Pierre Hermé's (€ 2.50 ea) doesn't crumble, it's so light and crisp and yet it showcases the filling - wow The staff member who helped us was so friendly and approached us since I don't speak french. He kindly switched from French to English and made the suggestion of choosing rose + jasmine over just jasmine.

Yelp
Pretty surprised at the lackluster reviews...this place is a dream. I wish we had somewhere like this in the States. Prepare to find every single specialty item you've ever dreamed of - including mustard made out of flecks of gold and every type of foie gras you've ever hoped for. Even if you're not looking to buy some french goods for yourself or as souvenirs, you can enjoy lunch or dinner here at one of their many kiosks/pop-ups (they even have dim sum, udon, ramen) or desserts. There's even a wine bar upstairs. If you're not interested in any of that, it's still a fun place to take a look and tour. I love taking photos in here...after all, French food is an art.

Yelp
To call this place a food court doesn't really do it justice at all. It's really like a foodie's paradise. All of the finest foods you can dream of under one roof! We bought macarons from Pierre Hermé, eclairs from l'eclair de Génie, have a light lunch, shopped for fine chocolates and little gifts and admired all the fabulous foods and products they had displayed. The Iberian ham looked wonderful too, we were so tempted to buy some, but had to fly back home the next day. The staff were friendly and helpful if we had any questions. The only place that didn't wow us was the dim sum/Chinese place. While the duck and rice hit the spot after walking around and touring the opera house, the rest of the food was meh. We met up with family and they were craving Asian food so we went there. It wasn't our choice but I wouldn't go out of my way for it. It was bit pricey as well. Overall wonderful place!

Yelp
Wonderful selection of food and dine in restaurants. Great pizza and Iberian ham. And ice cream and chocolate and everything! I'll be back

Yelp
This place is just HEAVEN on earth!!! A MUST GO place when visiting Paris. You can find all types of exquisite sweet and savory treats from France and a multitude of choice for finding the perfect little presents for my friends in the US. I just can't recommend this place enough and I am salivating by just writing this review! I wish they had a similar place in NYC!!!

Yelp
Inside Gallery Lafayette, carrying many delicious pastries, cookies, deli, gourmet food, wineries and specialty food, pricy but worthy, one stop shopping. I love it, highly recommend!

Yelp
We had cabita prosciutto for €6. Baguette Jabugo for €12. Ham was carved very fine from leg ham. Bread was crusty. Also had sauce. The jambon fat melted in the mouth. We went up to the top floor over the road to eat. You can't eat the takeaway food on Lafayette gourmet premises. The quiches were cooked crusty rather then soft.

Yelp
Wonderful food and beautiful display! A great way to get a taste of the French delicacies! Love the way they decorate for Christmas as well!
