Visiting Galeries Lafayette in Paris was like stepping into a fashion dream. From the moment I walked in, I was captivated by the iconic glass dome, the luxurious ambiance, and the endless selection of designer and contemporary brands. I also loved the rooftop view ..! truly one of the best panoramic scenes of Paris! What made it even more special was how the space felt like more than just a department store. Between the art installations, the beauty counters, and the cozy corners to pause and breathe, it’s a place that invites you to feel inspired and feminine. A must-visit when in Paris!! 🤍🤍🤍

Whenever I visit, it’s always crowded, but it seems there are more people browsing than actually buying — so it feels a bit hectic. However, if you go down to the basement grocery section, it’s much quieter and you can shop for food at your own pace. I only found out recently that they sell the famous jellies and sweets said to be favourites of President Macron when he was growing up. On the last day of my trip, I’m planning to buy some gifts like oils and truffle products. There’s quite a wide selection, so it’s definitely worth visiting if you’re looking to shop. I’m not sure if the prices are higher than other shops or about the same, but I’d still recommend it. As for the food section at La Grande Épicerie de Paris, which is much larger, I’ll post a review of that in a few days.

beautiful interior and a fascinating view at the city from the rooftop. otherwise very crowded when we went there and you can’t really buy many things unless you’re super rich. but at least you can look at the fancy clothes, i guess?

Gorgeous mall full of fashion designers pieces. One of the most outstanding places to visit in Paris. Don’t miss the roof top observatory to see the whole city. This shopping mall is absolutely amazing.

on the ground floor of this splendid department store there is a vast selection of food for all tastes. Impeccable service and affordable prices.

Literal tastebuds festival. No need to say more.

Very crowded. Very expensive. Hard for someone with a wheelchair to get around. Otherwise, it’s very beautiful and lots of shops/options. The food court on the top floor was nice, easy to get food and find a table.

This is their famous big box department store which might be the equivalent to our macy's here but with additional gourmet grocery section and a lot of high end brand name brands i have not even heard of. The prices for brand name clothes are crazy and ridiculous for me. But i bought a few gourmet food items and condiments to bring back home with me. Overall interesting but very high end and pricey store. Gives you an idea of what the priviledged few shop and buy. I like this store but strictly for their gourmet section only just because i could never see myself paying over 200 euros for a pair of jeans, over 500 euros for a very of simple jacket. I gave this a 4 star because this is a very well run business and the staff is extremely helpful and professional!

This is the shop opposite the big and famous main Lafayette shipping mall. It offers all sorts of stuff that is needed at home. The variety is huge. At street level there are nice and unusual gifts. So if you look for something that is nit the usual pin with the Eiffel Tower on it to bring back from this great city, here is a place. Attention Saturdays, it is just packed!
