Galini Cafe

Galini Hotel holds a special place in our hearts. The property is beautiful and the views are breathtaking. If you are looking for impeccable service, a memorable vacation, delicious food, comfortable rooms, and spectacular views of the Caldera, stay at Galini Hotel. They are situated in the best location - with lots of dining/shopping options just outside your door, but not as hectic as Fira (which is a mere 10min walk). Every staff member we encountered always had a smile and went above and beyond to ensure we were enjoying ourselves. We will definitely stay here again. :)

Heavily enjoyed staying at this hotel. The first thing that jumps out is the level of service you get from the staff which is perfect. Reception recommended some amazing restaurants for us to try which were all delicious. Breakfast was included and is in the cafe on the rooftop, great quality and service. Easy walk from the Firostefani bus stop They booked our transfer to the seajet port and walked us to the pick up point. The room was excellent and is cleaned daily, fresh toilets and amenities topped up daily. The view is amazing.

We had a few drinks here, amazing view and reasonable price for the location. Standout service from the waitress and other staff as we were with a toddler - they brought him a small croissant, played with him and brought us some pencils and a book to use. They were so so lovely to us - would highly recommend this cafe for the service.

We went there for breakfast on two mornings, the view was magnificent, the service was excellent and the food/drink was yummy! It does get busy and in the morning the good tables are reserved for hotel guests, so be prepared to wait during busy periods.

Absolutely DO NOT recommend staying at the Galini Hotel Villas! By the way these "hotels" are more like one/two star bed and breakfast accommodations. The premium price Galini charges at around one thousand euros per night is theft. You will not receive service and they will not attend to your needs as the villas are not in the same location as the main hotel/reception area where the cafe and the rest of the rooms are. Oh and the sunset, the number one reason most travel to Santorini, is not a direct view from the villas and is in fact obstructed by Skaros Rock. Don't believe their website advertising and marketing! Also, their staff is comprised of two young staff members that you will have to deal with, not very professional, and you will not see or be able to get a hold of the owner as she's not even on the island. Bottom line, for the premium price per night, there are much, much, much better options on this small island comprised of hundreds of hotels many of which will be happy to pamper you for that sum of money. Did I mention no hot water in the shower, no a/c in the room, no heated jacuzzi and a camera at shoulder level 10 feet away pointing at the jacuzzi. So much for private romantic nights overlooking the Caldera. The room will have a floor fan which is useless for 100 degree days sporting Extreme Heat Warnings. Don't make a decision you'll regret during your dream vacation. Avoid Galini!

Great spot for breakfast. We had the unicorn latte and the French toast with Nutella. Both tasted exceptional. Great views too. Highly recommended.

At Galini Cafe, I found the ideal spot to enjoy an unforgettable breakfast and brunch, savour an exquisite wine or cocktail as the sun sets, or indulge in a romantic light dinner. The atmosphere truly makes every moment special.

Excellent location; the view is just breathtaking; we had breakfast here the very first day we arrived at Santorini; the presentation and flavor were perfect; normal prices for the island; there was a small line before opening; make a reservation for the best views.
