Google
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely fantastic Greek restaurant! The food was incredibly fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared, you can truly taste the quality in every dish. The desserts were outstanding and the perfect ending to an amazing meal. On top of that, the service was friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. We’ll definitely be back and highly recommend this spot to anyone who loves great Greek food! 🇬🇷✨

Google
How do I even begin to rave about this wonderful restaurant?! Irene (hope I got that correct) was a wonderful server and started us off with a wonderful house dip with grilled pita, on the house. This is as authentic Greek as it gets. The Avgo Lemeno soup Devine, the Spinach Pie to die for and the stuffed peppers delicious! I NEVER get dessert but had to try the Emkek? Amazing. Do walk run to this place!

Google
Irene was our server, she was friendly and helpful. It felt like we went on vacation without taking a flight. The food was delicious. We had the Moussaka and a Pork Platter with the lemon chicken soup. Opa! So yummy!

Daniel N.

Google
Best and most authentic Greek food I have ever had. Tzatziki sauce is so good you can eat it by itself. Kebab plate will change your life. Will be back again!

Google
10/10 would recommend this restaurant to everyone! It’s great for families, romantic dinners, solo nights and even girls night out! The menu has so many lovely options and everything tasted fresh and super authentic. Service was quick and friendly. The server stayed on top of drinks and pacing the entree and appetizers perfectly. I can not wait to revisit! I had the feta saganaki and Greek salad! Both were enough to feed a crowd 😋

Google
This place is amazing from the moment you walk in to the time you leave. Family owned and you feel like family when you are there. Incredible service and atmosphere. Great food and drinks. Espresso martini is a must. Make sure you ask for Irene - so nice and great recommendations. Owner is very hands on and her son behind the bar is awesome! Belly dancer’s Saturdays- see you there!

Google
As if you are in the big fat Greek wedding. This place is so freaking cute and the food is amazing. Had the sweetest man Edward as our server! 10/10 would come back again!!

Yelp
I went here for a birthday dinner with my son on a Sunday night. This was an unexpected find and one that turned into an amazing feeling of being in the Mediterranean Greek Island of Santorini. So beautifully decorated in the blue of the sea outside and inside. The ambience was relaxing and gave a feeling of being there. The staff and owner made sure everything was okay at all times. We ordered the hummus and tazicki with fresh pita and olives to start. My son said the olives have a dressing like no other and wanted to know what they use to make it. The server brought a complimentary red pepper dip which was a little spicy for me but good. Followed by the Avgolemono soup @ chicken soup bases with lemon that I never had before but was so flavorful that it brought comfort immediately. I had to order the Akena (sp) blue martini drink made with raspberry vodka and blue curacao to compliment the Mediterranean feel. It was smooth and sweet. Finally, came the entree I ordered Moussaka which was a quite generous portion cooked perfectly with the sauce and so delicious . I had to take some home because it was quite a large portion. My son ordered the lamb roast with a boastful flavor , he did say he still preferred the chops flavor but the portion again was large. The price for the food is quite reasonable for the portions served. They have lunch specials and belly dancers on certain days, Fridays and Saturdays and also cater to any parties too. Chef Gianni prepared authentic dishes. He originally was at a restaurant in NY and opened this one. I believe his wife also works there and was pleasant and invited our return to see the belly dancers . I will definitely be returning here maybe on a weekend next time to see the show.

Yelp
They were having a bad night because we know people who gave Galini high marks. Our server was not fluent in English. Pleasant but woeful. Could not explain the menu. The pita was stale. Our salads never arrived. The stuffed peppers had the consistency of mush. Etc. Etc. We shall not return.

Yelp
I really wanted to love this place! But the experience as a whole felt a little lackluster. There were both good and bad parts to this evening, so starting with the good first, The decor and ambiance of this place is so refreshing, the complimentary pita bread and roasted red hummus was a nice touch and the service by Irene was above and beyond. However, when it came to the food and the drinks, I was pretty disappointed, the drinks were so sweet and overloaded with syrup that I couldn't finish the first one and then tried to order a different one, and couldn't even try to finish that either. The grilled calamari was over cooked, tough and chewy. I had one piece and didn't eat the rest. The lamb roast, although tasty was not soft and didn't fall off the bone and the potato's were not soft. So, although a pleasant evening, I'm not sure I'd return.

Yelp
Great Greek place open for lunch and dinner but closed for lunch on Saturday and Sunday. Open 7 days for dinner. Feels very homey. Prices are reasonable. Food is like home cooked.
google avatar

Yelp
Really nice little Greek place in the middle of a busy strip mall. When you walk in you're immediately greeted and seated the food is tasty and the service is nice. It's part of a lunch special I got the rice bowl with chicken and it was very good. Definitely a good lunch place and would like to try it for dinner one of these days. Work to try
google avatar

Kate K.

Yelp
The service was excellent as was the wine and the soup, PLUS ...THE most amazing EKMEK you will ever have! Fabulous!
google avatar

Betsy S.

Yelp
We sat outside to have lunch - and that was just perfect. The inside was just too dark anyway. My cousin had here two little dogs with her. So it really worked out well. The portions were large and that was very nice. The waitress seemed to be a bit distracted however. I love that we could walk to the restaurant and that it is close by!
google avatar

Yelp
This place can get full, so reservations are definitely a good idea. The menu is super large; I prefer a more curated, focused menu personally. Pita bread came out warm, a good sign. Next, they were out of a bottle of wine on their list (they couldn't find it). Need to more tightly manage inventory in my opinion. Moreover, the wait staff didn't seem very familiar with the wine list at all (much more wine training suggested). In terms of food: zucchini chips were served hot and very well made, with delicious tzatziki. Octopus was very tender; another win for the kitchen. Yum! Village salad was also very good and fresh, plenty for the whole table. Lastly, we ordered the whole branzino (fish); crispy outside skin with delicious white meat interior. Ask them to debone and filet it after they deliver to the table. Flavor was spot on. Overall, a very good place for a Greek meal. Service was very friendly - and Greek! Get here...

Yelp
I ate here on a Saturday night in August, and at first I was hesitant to do so, because I rarely, if ever, go out to dinner on Friday or Saturdays, whether it is "season" or "out of season". In South Florida, specifically Boca Raton, restaurants are crowded and noisy on weekends. And I don't have to go out on the weekend, as I am retired and can go out whenever I wish. But to please friends, we went out. Was pleasantly surprised that the restaurant only had a few tables occupied. It was lit with this blue/purplish light, which you'll see in the photos I took. I guess it's to give atmosphere. Personally, I could have done without it. Our waiter was pleasant and accommodating, and our crowd had a lot of questions. All the entrees included a Greek/Family Salad, or soup of the day. All of us had the Village Salad, and it was delicious and a large serving. Would definitely order this again. Entrees ordered included ($30) the salmon, a huge portion, served with a large side of steamed vegetables. The garlic jumbo shrimp (5) were indeed garlicky, and quite large, at $40 Two of us had the whole bronzini, ($40) one fillet and one whole. I ordered the filed version, and would order it again, but whole. Much prefer to take the fish off myself. Extensive wine list, a sauvignon blanc was $14 and Pinot grigo $9. We enjoyed our meals in this laid back restaurant. I would not take a date there if I were trying to impress them, but I would return with my husband mid week and enjoy their well prepared food. Check them out.

Yelp
Every was delicious. Ordered 5 lamb chops. 3 in one box and 2 in the other. The one that had 3 in the box came with a super thin lamb chop cooked perfectly and the 2 in the same box was cooked Rare. I had to pop it in the air fryer for 5 min on 400 and it was still pink. I cooked it for almost 9 min before I could eat it. The fish was delicious. The lemon chicken soup was great. Ekmek- it was my first time having it. It's good. It was like a pudding consistency. With nuts on top. We waited for about 45 min for our order. But the food was pretty good. Lamb chops did have good flavor I just like my meats dead. I would come back here again.

Yelp
My wife and I enjoy eating Mediterranean from time to time and I wanted to surprise her with some food prior to work recently. I was unsure of where to eat and looked on Yelp to find some places that might interest me and Galini's popped up. I came in to place a to go order and the lady who assisted me was very kind. As I placed the ordered she suggested what she would take (salad over fries) which my wife appreciated since she loves salads as well. Overall, the food was okay. The gyro was decent, the dolmades were small for the price (I felt), the chicken in the chicken rice bowl was a little dry - although the sauce was great. Not a bad place but I will continue to shop around for a Mediterranean style restaurant that takes me back to when I lived there years ago. When you've enjoyed the food firsthand it's hard to match in the states, but every now and then you'll find little gems.

Yelp
Went back after a year coming back on vacation went to Galini rest. Food is good but the portions were very small and prices very high. With the lamb chops three small chops two potatoe slicesand a small amount of mix veg. Fir 35 dollars. Kind of. Chincy. I under stand how expensive food is but for three tiny lamb chops it's not worth the visit.

Yelp
Stopped in here with friends, and I was so excited because the restaurant is absolutely beautiful. The inside is so nicely lit and the decor makes you feel as if you're actually in Greece. Our friends arrived first, they ask about happy hour and were told it's only available at the bar. The restaurant was completely empty so the four of us sat at the bar. we ordered drinks and appetizers only to realize that if we sat at a table, the prices were relatively the same and it probably would've been a little more comfortable. We ordered the Galini dip and were told they were out of it. i'm not sure how a Greek restaurant can be out of hummus or any other Greek type of dip but they were. Chicken wings came three to an order and they were OK. The muscles were good. Chicken souvlaki came two to an order and was very dry. My friend asked if there was a dipping sauce available, which we were told there wasn't so she asked for a little tzatziki. Didn't notice until I saw a copy of the bill today that she charged $7.28 for a little dollop and honestly would have been better to just leave the chicken on the plate. All in all, it was ok, nothing special. I think what bothered me more was seeing the credit card charge today. Since my husband paid I didn't look at the bill... but what's off is if we ordered 2 orders of mussels @$8 each we were billed 16.34 and this was for every item. There was a separate line item for tax so it wasn't that. If you're going to charge some additional fee, just let the customer know up front. I'll never know, nor do I care. One and done.

Yelp
Good food, not great, seems they are in need of style and direction for the whole restaurant operation... good dishes but are forgetful about rebreading our table... salad was way bigger my first time, have desserts still on menu that they don't serve anymore....dancer stays maybe 20 minutes and that in itself has me puzzled....
google avatar

Kathy C.

Yelp
Make sure that you visit this restaurant on a Friday night and you will get entertained by a belly dancer. We also enjoyed the Zorba dancing. In order to try various dishes, we ordered a medley of dishes and shared. I am glad that we did this. The seafood and lamb were delicious. We topped off the meal by sharing a dessert. The name was "bougatsa." It was absolutely delicious! The owner said that it is homemade and takes two days to prepare. Service was outstanding as was the entertainment. The ambiance made me feel like I was in Greece! There are beautiful hand-painted murals of Santorini. Everything was blue and white. That is also very typical of Greece. Although I don't drink, there was a full bar for those who do, featuring many Greek wines and liquors. I highly recommend this restaurant. We enjoyed a beautiful night out with a taste of Greece!

Yelp
We were in the mood for Greek one evening and of course i came to yelp for some ideas. I checked a few places but settled on Galini based on location availability and reviews. This restaurant is located in a shopping center so there is ample parking which is nice. Upon walking in the establishment was decorated mainly in white with blue lights. We were seated quickly provided us with water and pitas with hummus. The hummus was flavorful and a good start to the meal. My husband ordered the roasted lamb and I had the Galini Seafood. My husband enjoyed his meal,he said the meat was tender and well prepared. My dish on the other hand was awful, in hindsight I really should have sent it back. The seafood was tough and there was a spoiled taste to the dish. One of the worst meals I have ever had. The service was on point, for me the food quality was not there. I won't be going back. I'll try another Establishment in the future.
google avatar

Andrea U.

Yelp
We came back with a group for a Friday afternoon luncheon. Fifty of us were seated quickly. We ordered from the lunch menu & individual bills were provided. When we looked at the bill, we saw a tip chart on the bottom, but notice the 20% was already added to our bill. We ordered a roasted lamb pita with salads. My pita had five burnt tasteless pieces of lamb, hidden under lettuce. We asked twice for tzatziki sauce, and it never came. I was disappointed our meal came out piece meal, by the time we got our lunch the other tables were finished eating. The bus boy reeked of body odor. When he stood near us it was foul. He reached his arm across the table and the smell was foul. We were able to taste his body odor as his odor lingered after he walked away. I mentioned it to the daughter of the owner and she said he would not stand near us, for two hours he stood a few feet from us off and reaching across our table.

Yelp
I have been dining in Greek restaurants from Astoria to Florida. This is the best Greek restaurant of all. Delicious food, great service . I can't wait to come back with my friends.

Lori C.

Yelp
Love this cute Greek place and the family who runs it is great! So authentic with delicious food and warm Environment! Def must visit.
google avatar

Stephen R. G.

Yelp
This is not the first time we've been to this family run restaurant and found it delightful. Their menu is excellent, and price competitive. I ordered the Galini salad which had an abundant amount of grilled chicken in it. At other places where I have eaten, I would search in the salad to find the chicken, but not here! There was a an abundance of chicken and the flavor was delicious. The service is excellent. My wife feels the same way, and she's a hard one to satisfy. We will definitely be back to taste more.

Yelp
This place for me was a hit for me. I love this place, aesthetically is super nice, makes you feel like they brought Mykonos to you. I ordered a salad with chicken (forgot the name) and my goodness it was amazing! I could literally eat it every day. The service was great, the guy was sooo kind and nice and so full of joy, we left this place feeling like we can conquer the world. That how good this place was! You give me an amazing salad and experience and I will give you all my stars!
google avatar

Thalita T.

Yelp
I will never get tired to say that they are the best!!!!! The octopus is always way above than the best one i ever ate. The greek salad is also unique Today my son ordered corfu seafood that had the sauce of the angels and the virgin pina colada was the vest choice !!! The desserts was a baklava and a cheesecake baklava. AMAA And i have to mention that the whole team make us feel home!

Ricky D.

Yelp
After reading good reviews I decided to give Galini a try and it was a mistake. An appetizer of assorted dips was forgettable. A stuffed chicken item was saturated in sauce yet the chicken was dry and chewy and I couldn't eat this. A pasta item featured overcooked penne and a cloying sauce. This is the first time I have had Avogelmono Soup that I didn't like and who would like soup that is thin, watery and flavorless. I love orzo and always thought it was difficult to mess up but here it was mushy and like everything else was not eaten. Dessert was heavy and sweet with no discernible flavor but for sugar. Service was fine, parking is easy and seating was comfortable. I always try to say something nice. Maybe I went on an off night.
google avatar

Reixa C.

Yelp
Recommended by my hair stylist who recently moved to the plaza where Galini is located. Service was great. I was recommended their Vegetarian Pita. It came with fries. Also I substituted the tsatsiki sauce for hummus. This was a huge pita! I ended up leaving my credit card at the restaurant and called the next day. They had it stored securely. I drove the next day and picked it up. They are very nice. The restaurant is very beautiful, I'd say Fancy. But laid back in the service where you can just hang out with friends.
google avatar

Deborah A.

Yelp
The food was amazing. I had the lamb shank that was cooked to perfection. Also I had the spinach pie which was great. Also, the waitress was very well trained and very attentive to me me. I would recommend this restaurant. It is so beautiful inside and outside and it really makes you feel like you're in Greece enjoying the ambiance of Greece. I'm here on holiday but I will be returning here till we see each other again. Come here and enjoy the food. It's a great pic

Yelp

Yelp
A friend and I went for lunch on a Thursday. We were the only people there, and that should have been a clue of what was to come. I arrived first and was seated. Although I indicated I was waiting for a friend and was indeed provided with two menus, the hosts came over shortly after I was seated to see if I was ready to order. I pointed out that I was waiting for a friend. My friend ordered a chocolate martini, which happened to be the "drink of the day" on their chalkboard outside. It took almost 10 minutes for it to be made. We looked over at the bar and it seemed that our waitress was making it, but had no idea how to do so. She seemed to be on her phone, maybe looking up the recipe, and was looking at a bottle of Kahlua as if it were an alien. When the drink arrived, it literally had decorative chocolate syrup on the inside and the outside, dripping down the exterior of the glass and making it very messy to drink. I ordered a glass of wine and there were two labels of the same type of Greek wine, so I asked what the difference was in taste. I was told they tasted the same. I guess our waitress knows as much about wine as she does about making a chocolate martini! Ok, so the food. I had a shrimp wrap and it isn't really a wrap as much as it's a taco made of grilled pita bread. It's a lot of bread and very chewy. I took five bites before I got any shrimp in my mouth. While the people who work there were nice, it seemed like it was their first day. The whole experience was very odd.
google avatar

Julie F.

Yelp
We had a good lunch here. But it was a bit strange that we were the only patrons almost the whole time we were here right at lunch hour. Only as we were finishing up our meal did another couple and their kids come in the restaurant to eat. We decided to share their village (horiatiki) salad. This is the one without lettuce. And since we asked for no onions, this version was tomatoes and cucumbers with one triangle of feta on it. There were also a few black olives and one pepperoncini along with one grape leaf stuffed with rice. I was surprised not to see any green peppers. The cukes tasted like zucchini slices. But in spite of this, it was a decent salad. We liked the dressing on it. The pita bread that came along side was just okay. My husband didn't like their lemonade. We also had their fried smelts appetizer. This isn't on their lunch menu, but on their dinner menu. They were nice enough to make them for us. It was a rather small portion, but what we did have was nice and crunchy. And we liked them after adding a squeeze of lemon and some salt. I'm glad we came. Now we know.

Yelp
Amazing Greek food, something for every diet. Keto dieters will be in there glory. Our daughter is Keto so I'm always aware of the choices. We loved everything. You will not be disappointed. We also had a few appetizers, also great. The wait staff is very

Yelp
Galini is a hidden treasure. Started with flaming Saganki... delicious. Our main course was salmon with capers and lemon potatoes. Home made Baklava was so sweet and washed it down with Freddo Cappuccino.
google avatar

Iris. G.

Yelp
GalinI Restaurant is conveniently located at inBoca at Publix shopping center. I ordered seafood salad. Very strange!! The seafood is hot served on cold salad. I was warned upfront by the owner, and chose it anyway. It tasted good, but the seafood should not be boiling hot. My friend had various tapas. Some of their staff that was floating on the floor did not speak English, so when we needed water, Brest etc, someone had to come over & help. The owners are very nice & accommodating.
google avatar

Randi F.

Yelp
Excellent food preparation and delicious food choices. DELIVERED IN timely fashion and ready to eat, hot and fresh SUPPORT LOCAL!

Amy H.

Yelp
Delicious food served in a hidden gem. No ambiance, but you can't eat atmosphere. LOL What we did eat was wonderful.

Nick H.

Yelp
Food is amazing, true authentic Greek cuisine. The service is even better, the owner is a caretaker and takes pride in his work. Ambiance is beautiful. Might be the best Greek spot I've been to in south Florida.

M Y.

Yelp
Great service. Now I like retsina wine. Enjoyed saganaki, salad (huge and tasty), grilled octopus, bifteki, I.e. grilled meatballs with sauce, and an amazing dessert. Pleasant atmosphere, not too noisy, huge menu selection, other diners recommended the gyros and lamb.
google avatar

Jennifer D.

Yelp
The perfect lil neighborhood restaurant. It has such a nice charm to it, and the owner himself is always there making sure you're enjoying everything! Food is absolutely delicious! The grilled octopus is the best we've ever had! My in-laws, being from Greece, love it here as well. And they don't like many Greek restaurants. They even have some lovely tables outside in front near some nice greenery to give you a more authentic feel. Music is always great! They even have a belly dancer, I believe on Friday and Saturday evenings. You can dress up or be casual, either way is acceptable. Just give them a try. I'm pretty sure you'll love it too!

Elvis E.

Yelp
From the moment we walked in, we felt like we were in a taverna in Athens. The decor, the music, and most importantly, the food were all on point. The feta saganaki was a fun and delicious appetizer, and the seafood paella was one of the best we ever eat. The portions are generous, and the prices are very reasonable for the quality. Don't forget to try the Greek coffee and dessert!

Alan W.

Yelp
Nothing has changed since my last review, I guess I'm a glutton for my own punishment. You might think things are getting better but due to the lack of restaurants, any and all restaurants are presently experiencing an upturn in business. So in essence I'll stick to my original review of this establishment.
google avatar

Hannah C.

Yelp
We ordered take out and got hummus, grilled octopus, Galini salad and gyro platter dinner. None of the food was even close to "warm" when we picked it up (it was ready before the pick up time). The hummus was good, but the pita was hard as a rock and tasted like cardboard. The octopus would probably be ok if it was warm, but extremely overpriced (very small serving for $19). The salad and gyro platter were just barely ok. As mentioned, none of the meat was warm which made it difficult to enjoy. The gyro meat looked like it had been reheated 4 times before being served to us, very stiff and not at all tender. Overall very disappointing. Edible but not enjoyable :(

James 2.

Yelp
terrible customer service. We were shorted stuffed peppers on our delivery order and they did not believe us. spent 15 minutes on the phone convincing them and it ruined my life.
google avatar

Amanda D.

Yelp
Went here last night for the first time and will definitely be going back. Food was great! Super flavorful, fresh, and delicious. Service was good. I had the saganaki shrimp and the eggplant (Melitzana Feta) Very good and would get both again.

J W.

Yelp
Decent food but the owner was beyond rude. Not only was he a bad host as we came in but he loudly yelled at our waitress in such an unprofessional and disrespectful manner. They don't seem to have their act together when it comes time to giving a paying bill I wish this wasn't the case because we would have happily tried it again but the owner left the bad taste in our mouth as opposed to the food You don't treat your employees so badly, especially not in front of the customers
google avatar

Daniel K.

Yelp
The good 5 star.... The decor The service The presentation 4 star The noise level 3 Star We had a salad and Lemon chicken soup which were outstanding But our Grilled Octopus, very tender, was very salty Paella, I would expect that for $50 there would be more fish, Shrimp and mussels...very tasty sauce with orzo but the Calamari was too chewy
google avatar

Jay G.

Yelp
Great greek food and outstanding service. Portions are large enough to take home. Every time we go to vacation at delray beach we always have dinner at galini greek restaurant and we will be there tonight.

Bobbie P.

Yelp
Galini is pure joy in every dining way. Physically beauty's with marble floors and Grecian accents of blue and white and sailboats creates a perfect mood. The food is exquisite and creatively served with smiles and happy to be of service. Outstanding was the whole bronzino, the spanakopita to name just a few. All is prepared and served with love. For an outstanding evening, I recommend it highly

Lucy G.

Yelp
* The food is delicious with generous portions! We got the smelts, lamb shoulder in clay pot, the mixed grilled meat platter, and the saganaki (which comes with quite the presentation). * Staff were super friendly and attentive! Never leaving us too long without checking and seeing if we need anything. * The restaurant was very clean (even the bathrooms) and they had a cute little seafood display similar to what you would see in the Greek Islands. Absolutely recommend!

Yelp
In many ways it saddens me to put a two star review. I've been to this restaurant so many times, and the meals are delicious and service is acceptable and festive. However, I ordered food on Saturday at 6:42. They told me it would be about 35 minutes knowing it's a Saturday night I figured it wouldn't be 35 minutes and it would be more like an hour or an hour and 15. 2 1/2 hours later, after multiple phone calls, saying that it would be there in five minutes my food finally arrived. There wasn't an apology. just excuses that it was busy, which I fully understand but to get food that had been sent out hours earlier, only to arrives to me hours later, after sitting in a car for hours... is just unacceptable. There was no offer to make it right just bad customer service. Very disappointing. The food was cold and not that good. Especially for the price I paid. Come on y'all, not the way you treat customers especially ones that spend hundreds and hundreds at your restaurant on a regular basis.

Yelp
Insanely delicious!!!!homemade hummus. Greek salad simple and divine. Perfect Greek restaurant! No plate throwing...recommend a thousand percent!

Claudia K.

Yelp
Even if you're not Greek, this restaurant will make you feel at home. The beautiful ambiance, the music, the smiles of every service and the amazing food are a great combination of all those things we need to feel welcome, to feel at home. This is our favorite restaurant !!
