We had an incredible experience with Gallatin River Guides! Our guide, Dalee, was absolutely fantastic—patient, knowledgeable, and so much fun to spend the day with. As total beginners, we weren’t sure what to expect, but thanks to her clear instruction on casting, we felt comfortable right away. Best of all, we caught plenty of fish! It was the perfect mix of learning and adventure, and we couldn’t have asked for a better introduction to fly fishing. Highly recommend both Gallatin River Guides and Dalee if you’re looking for a great day on the water!

We had the best time fly fishing with Tommy! Everyone in the shop was so warm and friendly. We went to two spots and had so much fun. Had an incredible half day trip recently with our wonderful guide Brian. Meeting at the shop all of our gear was ready to go and we went through a brief orientation. We drove about 20 minutes and got right in the river. After a quick demo our reels were in the water and my buddy and I caught all types of fish. Brian provided us with helpful tips and encouragement and made the entire experience memorable and satisfying. His passion for his craft was inspiring and had me hooked. In just three hours, we caught over 15 fish-something we never imagined possible on our very first outing! Hunter and Grace were not only knowledgeable and patient but also super friendly and encouraging. They tailored the trip perfectly to our experience level and made sure we were constantly learning while having a blast. The scenery was breathtaking, the gear was top-notch, and the energy from both guides made the whole experience feel effortless and exciting. We can’t recommend Gallatin River Guides enough - especially Hunter and Grace! If you’re even thinking about trying fly fishing, this is the place to do it. We’ll definitely be back!

Gallatin River Guides did not disappoint! Our guide Hunter put us on the fish all day on the Gallatin River, caught around 40 trout! Wore this ole boy out! Highly recommend them if you’re ever in the Big Sky-Bozeman area!!

Highly recommend Zach Yoder at Gallatin River Guides. Zach guided my son and two daughters and me over three days, and was an outstanding guide. He provided excellent instructions, encouragement and education to the beginner fly fisherman, and was psyched for every fish they caught. We fished nymphs, dry flies, streamers, and dropper rigs on the Gallatin and Yellowstone and caught fish on all rigs, all days, all rivers...too many fish to count. Zach was a pleasure to be with. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
