The cafe had the most excellent atmosphere. The owners are so kind and generous, and the food was the best we’ve had in Iceland. The rye bread with smoked trout was to die for! We are floored with how amazing this place is. This restaurant is a must when travelling!

Very well maintained guesthouse. For most of our stay in Iceland we had booked Foss hotels…we were very nervous about what it might be to stay at a guest house. But this place was such a pleasant surprise…I would rate their rooms on par with the Foss hotels. The morning breakfast had a good selection too! Loved staying here and will definitely be back if we were to re-visit Iceland again.

Rooms were adequately sized, you get a cool room key, and the owners were extremely friendly and pleasant to talk to. The cafe that is attached to the rooms is a great place to stop in and grab a quick bite to eat. This was one of the best places we stayed on our adventure thought Iceland.

We stopped here for one night and it was beautifully quaint! No TV but our own private outdoor seating area which was so much more enjoyable! Very clean and tidy and hosts were very welcoming. Would definitely return!

If you’re staying overnight on the Golden Circle this guesthouse was wonderful. So cozy and relaxing for a good nights rest. Pretty modern. The owner was very kind yet laid back. The only thing disappointing was the shop and cafe area was still closed at 9 AM, but we ran into a lot of businesses opening late. I would recommend this cozy accommodation.

We had a wonderful one night stay here on our tour of the Golden Circle! It’s a great little place, and very close to Fontana Spa which is an awesome way to spend your evening. I would caution other travelers to avoid Linden Restaurant which the hotel recommended to us. It is super overpriced, the food is really average and the service not very good. The hotel also offered us a 15,000 ISK breakfast option which we took but it was super basic and not worth it. If you’re smart and frugal you will stop by the supermarket and grab food for breakfast on-the-go there.

Bed was cozy, view was good but there was no service. The owners asked to have our complimentary breakfast in a different hostel as the hotel was not at full capacity and they could not arrange the breakfast on the site.

Very comfortable bed and breakfast. The couple running the place is warm and dedicated to their guests. We enjoyed our stay.
