Had the opportuity to visit this galery last week. The collection of local artwork and variety art forms was amazing. Jenise and Marc were delightful to work with and helpful in making our stay in Bay St Louis a pleasure. Highly recommended.

Yelp
Gallery 220 is my favorite art gallery. For those that know me, you know that the idea of me perusing an art gallery is quite humorous. I don't frequent traditional art galleries, but Gallery 220 is anything but traditional. It's unique, casual, reasonable and more of a shared space where many different artists can sell their creations. Inside the shop there are six or seven different areas. While all are cool, there are three that stand out to me. The first is immediately to your left when you walk in. That area has art created from metal and wood scraps that Is industrial looking while still having a homemade look to it. The best items there are their magnets with metal hearts affixed to wooden blocks. No two are alike and they are very reasonable. The next area I really like is along the left wall towards the rear of the front room. That area has art that focuses on local sea life. My favorite painting was one of a crab, but it was a little rich for my blood. Last, but most certainly not least is the area in the back room. There you'll find the custom ceramic artist that recreated the facades of local and New Orleans businesses and landmarks. There were famous Nola restaurants like Commanders Palace, all the local cities, and even that bullshit school Jesuit. These ceramic pieces were remarkably accurate and were very reasonable. If you are in downtown BSL, you owe it to yourself to stop here.

Yelp
Downtown art gallery featuring several local artists. I look forward to reaching the stop sign just before it on Main Street so I can see the window dressing and who was featured. The Coca- Cola mural on the side of the building has become iconic, denoting you're in the heart of Bay St. Louis. Art prices are reasonable and allow even a casual collector to find a treasure. My all-time favorite queen artist, Michelle Allee, has a space in here. Check out her work. The multilayer, Bingo cards covered by a semi-sheer Queen/face are stunning. The big, piercing eyes speak to everyone. Give Gallery 220 a look!

Yelp
This is a seriously neat Art Deco style gallery in the middle of downtown Bay St. Louis. Its eclectic and cool, like most art galleries, and I knew walking in that I'd love it because of 1. the resident Labrador and 2. the delightful artist who approached us and explained in great detail about her craft and the passion behind it. It was closing time (unknown to us till afterwards)when we stepped in. Not once did I feel rushed or that the artist was annoyed that we'd come in right at the moment she was probably ready to get home. She had lots of interesting pieces (mostly clay with a southern theme) as did her husband who shares the space with her. But the best thing about Gallery 220 is that it's a co-op. What does that mean exactly? About 20 different artists have their work on display here. So you've got it all. Pottery, paintings, photography, jewelry, wood works...browsing through this building of talented local artists was a great way to spend an afternoon. In a perfect world I'd have an endless supply of money and every room in my home would be filled with things from this gallery. Go support this local gallery. You won't regret it!

Yelp
One of the most exciting art galleries in the Bay. It's a "must-see" when you're in Old Town!

Yelp
This place is amazing! How have I not heard of this place until not is beyond me! The front part of the store is filled with creations all from local artist and in back of the store is in house made pottery of local landmarks of the Gulf Coast and New Orleans. These would make awesome gift and the staff there were extremely friendly and knowledge. I will most definitely be back!
