Gallery-by-the-Sea Carmel

As the owner of a real estate brokerage on the Monterey Peninsula, I know how important the right art is in the overall presentation of a home. Michael Lynberg's art captures the essence of everything that makes the Peninsula so special and was integral in helping to sell two properties. In fact, one buyer was so impressed that he purchased the art and furnishings as well.

We purchased two beautiful pictures and Mike as our Christmas gifts to each other for 2018. We are so pleased with the work and professionalism. We needed a large picture for our great room as we have 20 foot high ceilings. We just placed the first picture today before we frame it to see how it will fit and we are so pleased. Mike and his Wife were very thoughtful and sweet people to work with. Thank you, Charles and David .

The most wonderful gallery with an amazing collection of artwork. The Pebble Beach artwork is overwhelming. Alex Gonzales is a total gentleman. Best gallery by far, I’m so grateful I found it.

Only stop by here if you feel like picking your jaw up off the floor. Michael Lynberg is an astounding digital artist. His technique and colors are intuitive and brilliant.

Throughout my visit, I was struck by the friendliness and expertise of the gallery owners. They were generous with their time, answering all of my questions and providing me with fascinating insights into their work.

I have been to this gallery several times. I love what they have done to the place. It's very welcoming. The owner Mike and Elizabeth are make you feel at home at the galley. I the paintings are so beautiful. Some panting make you feel like you are at Big Sur And the spectacular paintings of Pebble Beach golf course and other golf courses in the area. I highly recommend stopping by the gallery if you near by:)

We went to this gallery yesterday. We met Michael Kent Lymberg there, he was very friendly, answered all the questions, and discuss about photography and painting. His photos are amazing, we are so much impressed by his work! That's a remarkable photos and a beautiful painting! We so much love that gallery!

The artist himself, Michael Lynberg, was there to explain his techniques to us. After taking a really breath taking photo of mainly ocean scenes in the area, he uses a digital paint program to add another dimension to each piece. The ocean pictures were really quite extraordinary and if I had the funds, one of them would be in my home right now!

Gallery by the Sea has some amazing works of art on display. Definitely a must-see while you're downtown Carmel!

We had our first trip to Pebble Beach this past summer and it was simply amazing! We went to Carmel for dinner and I stumbled into the gallery and met Michael and saw his work it was all over. 5 prints later I was out of there. I proudly hang those fantastic memories of Pebble Beach in our home

The gallery is really welcoming. The owners and artist are very friendly. It's right next to the chamber so you can get a recommendation on a restaurant after viewing beautiful art from all around this area. My favorites are McWay Falls, Bixby Bridge Sunset and Golden Gate Sail Boats. The art is breathtaking. The artist takes some of the most memorable images from the local area and makes art affordable.

Mike and Elizabeth have a done a wonderful job curating a nice place for those who appreciate a beautiful landscape. If you're looking for a gallery with great artwork and a friendly staff I highly recommend stopping by during your next visit to downtown Carmel.

Went to the gallery because Valentine's Day comes up tomorrow. I had met one of the owners may be 8 months or a year ago and my spouse wanted to go there. I was pleasantly surprised. I felt genuinely welcome and Elizabeth Lynberg made every effort to make our visit pleasurable. She even changed the frame of a painting we were interested in twice because we felt the original frame was not quite right. We ended up obtaining "Lone Cypress Sunset". I really love it because when you look at it you truly see in the painting that the sun is setting. There is a glow to it with the perfect lighting. I really felt I am right there. We also obtained "Ribbon of Green" which my spouse really likes a lot. It is more of an abstract painting of a wave breaking on the beach. I could not really remember the exact name of the paintings but was able to look them up on their website where I could find them. I am looking forward to receive the paintings with the frames we picked and the certificates. With the limited numbers of copies around 35 per piece I will not only enjoy the paintings but I also feel I have a good investment. In my opinion the artist is probably underrated but I am no art expert.
