Gallop Kranji Farm

The farm used to be bustling and full of life, but now it seems a lot more run-down and weeds allowed to grow around the staycation villas. We went in to Gallop Farm for the dog hydrofitness swim session at Adventure Tails, and as it had been a rainy day, the grounds were quite sandy and wet.

Jan 2024 at superior room.||CONS||1) inside room have lots have mosquitoes|2) got pool but no water inside |3) to us main problem is food stall are deserted. You have a villa at ulu place, in the centre of forest, farm, cemetery with no public transport or taxi in/out of villa yet, the food stall here are not in operation. Their 555 thai, burger and satay stall only operate 5pm - 3am which is very different from google stated. Google stated 8am. So those staying in villa just eat maggie mie for your breakfast and lunch to wait for 5pm.|4) small room eventhough its superior room. Only fit 2 person max. Car pouch door not working. Balcony is link with the next door so kind of no privacy.|5) aircon temperature not able to adjust. Is either you on for too cold or you off for too hot.||PROS|||1) one of the cheaper chalet/villa compared to others. |2) i received my soap eventho the review given saying they didnt get one so maybe i was lucky.|3) cheap in prawning |4) cheap in steamboat. Btw for 555 thai they only have steamboat. No seafood no nothing. Just steamboat at $14 per person. Prices is okok but not much variety to choose for the steamboat. Just hotdog, tofu, beef, some veg.|||Overall for i think to attract more people to the resort, they need to fix their food stall. You open at 5pm die la no food for breakfast.

Stall Burger & Pasta is terrible, only seeing 1 guy functioning they other younger boy with a back cap just loitering and taking orders from his family member on the side, total I was in a queue for almost 40 mins being the 4 in queue... Just bad... Put in more efficient worker and stop taking side queue, have principle and moral when doing business... Just disappointed. I came here wanting to eat the satay but at 830 the stall says they no longer take order cos the satay sauce finishes... What is 24hrs?? It claims to be 24 hrs but by 830pm U end? Had no choice for the burger. I dun recommend this place... Very inefficient. If family can come and jump the queue, just serve closure as family. No need to go public...

I don't know where to start with this place... 😂 But I'll keep it short and simple, if you're planning on having one of the worst experiences for dinner or prawning, then this is surely the place for you.. A good place to end a break-up with that guy or girl who keeps bugging you. If you're a married couple, then it's a perfect place to end your relationship. If you're intending on bringing your kids, your kids might just disown you 😂😂😂.. just avoid.. trust me.. UPDATE: I thought I give a detailed review as well, my experience with the burgers, queues were rather long but the burgers were decent. We had the nasi lemak, honestly it was alright. The real issue was the people working behind the counters serving food were just slow and there wasn't a system in place. I didn't know if they would call out our order or just keep going up to ask if the order is ready.. it was just a mess to be honest. There was a steamboat style of dining, but the selection wasn't appetising. The food here is a case of "cleap doesn't mean good." Prawn fishing - we wanted to get rods, but as soon as I got to the counter, I heard some people arguing with the guy at the counter as there were literally no catches! Lastly, the toilet is perhaps one of the worst public toilets I've been. However, you can easily find it since you can smell it from about 10ft away 🤭. Location- this is really isolated, good luck with getting a grab if you're not driving. If you are driving, there's a car wash near the parking lots. I didn't try that, but because we sat nearby watching the guys work, we were spont on to give it a miss. This is one of the weirdest places that had much hype in the start but was disappointing. Hopefully, things improve 🙏 Thank me later!

Owner please do improve your facility. The location is not easily accessible. The prawning pond is full of seaweed and dirty. Baits not fresh, Crew are not helpful. The price we paid not worth it. Only one time, that it.

Extremely, terribly bad service. I have to say, it’s my first time experiencing this. when we reach the mosquito hq, we were shocked to see the state of the place. Oh! Not forgetting the smell. 👍 The $50 bbq pit was a small portable one. The room was far from the pictures. Sad to say, the best place was the toilet. |However, as it is only one night, we sucked it up and continued creating happiness and fun for ourselves. We received calls at night to say that we were too loud, however, everyone already left! That means to say, he accused and assumed it’s us! It was actually the other chalet.|Surprisingly, after kindly cleaning up the place and checking out. The manager have the audacity to accuse us of a broken wall at one corner, bent sofa leg which he agreed that it was “not super sturdy and not so good quality” ???? He asked us how many sat on it when it bent and we said 3. He replied “I highly doubt 3 is the number” and that he has no CCTV to verify. Wow. He definitely assume many things. Well done. He wanted us to chip in and pay a $100 or, be blacklisted by them. We agreed to being blacklisted since we would never in our life go there again. However, he said we are very uncharacteristic. Hello? U gave us the choices so we must pick the one that you like? |Anyway, if u read till here, congrats! You saved yourself from being there. Don’t waste the money.

My stay was overall more then i expected. i like the concept of the resort you can chill and relax.The bed was really comfortable as it's pretty soft. it was value for money , the place is quite deserted and quiet however worth it to stay here it had everything a resort needs and slightly nicer than usual. was very quiet and I got a great sleep.

went here for prawning. prices are relatively cheap. but there are different types of rods, some are heavy and stiff, some are soft. hard to catch prawns as they keep eating the bait only. went for 2 hours with 3 people in total but only caught 4 prawns in total. but the staff is nice so 4 stars
