Went for their Champagne Brunch yesterday for a friend's birthday. Loved the vibe and overall concept. We were a big group but service was fantastic so special shout out to Gigi for being wonderful and attentive with the little things we needed, was easy to coordinate the birthday cake for the celebrant.
There was also music so it was pretty relaxing and nice. The buffet spread wasn't really big but had some nice options. I especially liked the Porcheta and the salmon (first time to see a proper whole baked salmon, pretty cool!). The champagne was unlimited and was actually a proper Californian champagne so they didn't really go cheap and thus I felt it justified the overall cost. I'm a champagne drinker so didn't need the juices to mix with champagne but you practically have all other juices to mix aside from the standard orange juice.
The 2 hours went by quick and we were reminded 15 mins before they closed out the buffet. Was able to then try the croissants and pain au chocolat which were actually pretty good. We also ordered the chocolate mousse, key lime pie and Panna cotta for desserts for the birthday girl and our table and it was pretty decent.
Overall areas for improvement would be timeliness of the table. I think we only got it 15 mins after. The food temperature is also an area of opportunity. It was noticeably not warm. And everytime I wanted to finally try the french toast, it was out. Happened 3 times and didn't get to try it which isn't a deal breaker but I'd be remiss if I don't get to point this out for improvement. Still, I won't mind coming back. :)
