Galloway Activity Centre

We stayed in the Osprey for 4 nights, and also had our intimate wedding whilst here. Richard and Adam were brilliant, and on hand to help with anything we needed. The views are something you won’t find anywhere else, the accommodation is immaculate & the whole weekend was amazing. A massive thank you to Richard for allowing us to have our day here & accommodating us so well. There was a massive range of activities available which we didn’t have time to try, but plan on returning to make the most of it. Thank you all again 🤍

Spent the morning here yesterday myself and 2 daughters aged 10&11. What a great day, all staff were very helpful and friendly. Special mention to Ray who was absolutely fantastic with the girls. My youngest can be a bit scared of things but he totally put her at ease. He was funny, professional, and really went above and beyond to make them enjoy this. He took them out to the water inflatables and i heard the little one cracking jokes so knew she felt safe with him. Was so reasonably priced for the time spent on the activity, the cafe was also very reasonable. The views are breathtaking, and was very dog friendly. Will 100% be back here.

Booked this a couple of days ago, highlight of our stay. Kids loved the high speed thrill ride. Staff were very friendly & knowledgeable to guests and care for local wildlife. Thanks for our boat ride

Spent a fantastic long weekend here with my nearly 12yo son in early August, staying in the small glamping dome. The dome was great - saved me pitching and taking down my tent in fairly strong wind and the log burner was a really welcome addition for getting warm and drying clothes in the non existent 2024 summer. We tried a number of activities including sailing, wobbly waterpark, archery, kayak, paddle boarding and climbing and every instructor was brilliant. Special mention to Sam who was great on the sailing, making it fun for us as well as a really young brother and sister pair in another boat. And also thanks to Tom for swiftly pulling my son to safety when he took a tumble on the waterpark. Guests are in good hands here.

We did the archery as a family of 5. Ant was our instructor who explained and demonstrated very well what we had to do. It did feel quite long the introduction but I understand it’s for health and safety. Ant stated at the beginning that everyone will improve by the time the session was over and he was right! Very good experience.

16 Sept 23 Excellent place, very friendly staff. We stopped off to swim, went to see the young lady in reception, very helpfull. Hot shower after then coffee, chips and cake ( dogs allowed ). We even filled our 10L tank with fresh water. It was so good we went back on the 17 Sept 23, same routine. A few people about having fun in the water and eating in the cafe. You will need to book if you want to carry out an activity or use the accommodation.

Excellent day out! Great fun on the inflatables was had. Good instructor with the group at all times - safety is taken very seriously here Good café available prices are very reasonable. Lots of activities offered. Excellent value for money.

Fantastic day with the team at the GAC. Great mix of activities for the family. Instructors were amazing, little cafe onsite ensured we got hot drinks and food to warm us up in between activities. Highly recommend.
