For the price, the rooms were decent, very clean, well maintained. Toilet/bathroom was immaculate. The shower was amazing. Eileen and Darren were brilliant, gave a lot of important info, very friendly and always checked if you needed something and if you got back safely from your hikes. We didnt get the chance try the restaurant as they only opened from the evening and we chose to explore the nearby towns. But overall it was great. Will definitely come back.

The staff make the place. Absolutely lovely food with great service. Rooms are basic, but what we expected for the price. It was clean, and the bed was comfortable enough. Would have been great if they offered the cooked breakfast in the morning the perfect start to a day before a mountain climb.

We had a lot of fun here. It’s a hostel so don’t expect luxury accommodation but its’s clean, comfortable and good value for money. |The restaurant serves delicious pizzas, amongst other things, and the cooked breakfast was also very good, using quality ingredients. The bar/restaurant area has a great atmosphere, very relaxed. It closes around 10pm so you still get a good nights sleep. |The bar offers a variety of drinks, both alcoholic and non and the Welsh music as well as a fantastic staff team all add to the atmosphere. We were really impressed with the manager Darren particularly. He was extremely warm and welcoming and generous with his time and help, nothing was too much trouble- he’s a real asset to the place. All the staff were great, we even got to have a chat with the chef - the whole team were very accommodating. |We will definitely be returning. It’s a fantastic base for exploring the area too. The views from our room were beautiful. Plenty of room to park in the car park and a drying room for all your gear. Perfect 👌

Everyone at the hostel was extremely friendly and the breakfast was amazing! However, I found a used candy wrapper on my bed and I found that the bunk beds were a bit dirty. The sheets were clean though! There was no kitchen or area to store your food, which was unfortunate considering I had brought food. Also the bottom of the storage containers, makes you place valuables on the floor. There was no cage or proper container. My clothes/valuables had brown dirt on it when I took them out! I just wanted to share!

Enjoyed our stay here. Lovely service, very friendly, rooms basic but comfy and more than adequate after a day climbing Snowdon. Well located for a walk in to Llanberris and the lady that checked us in was very helpful recommending places to eat etc.

Good hostel room in a terrific location for exploring Snowdon. Staff are lovely and there is a nice sitting room. Bedrooms are small but adequate. Bathroom was tiny. No room to dry after shower without falling over the loo.

Overall, a delightful stay with exceptional service and scenery.
