Such a great vibe with incredibly friendly people & staff. I showed up and immediately was welcomed in by other travelers in the common room. Prices for an off season week day night were a little high, but with amenities such as incredible water pressure, free breakfast, evening snacks, towel, & lock included- I can’t complain much. At the hostel I stayed at in Dublin, all of those things were extra. The rooms were very nice, I just wish the beds had a shelf or something to store things on (I slept on the top bunk and my stuff kept falling off the bed at night). Also, it is directly across the street from the train station!! I thought I’d get off the train from Dublin and have to walk with all my luggage- nope! Directly across the street.
The one downside, and this is very small, is that my room faced the street. This street had the MOST annoying, agitating cross walk sound I have ever encountered. Imagine a fire alarm…but somehow more annoying. As someone who gets really hot at night, I typically like to keep the windows open. With headphones it was bearable but just be warned. This is at no fault to the hostel of course!
With all of that being said, I would most definitely stay here in the future!
