We had an amazing experience at Gambino’s Paris! The pizzas were absolutely delicious—crispy crusts, fresh toppings, and generous portions (check out the photos!). We started with the fried mozzarella appetizer, which was perfectly golden and cheesy. For dessert, the Tiramisu was outstanding—rich, creamy, and not too sweet. This spot was a real highlight for our family trip, with plenty of options that even pleased our picky teenagers. Highly recommend!!

The server was friendly, and our food arrived quickly. My sister and I ordered the mushroom pizza, which came with a burrata topping—it was delicious. We also tried the truffle mushroom pasta, and it was absolutely incredible. Great pricing too!

A disappointing dining experience in Paris My visit to this restaurant was a true letdown. I ordered the classic Italian carbonara (they offered a Parisian version with cream, which I specifically avoided), expecting the traditional recipe. Instead, I received a plate of soggy, un-drained pasta, swimming in plain water. There was no egg, no parmesan, and definitely no guanciale – just a piece of lightly cooked smoked pork loin thrown on top, finished with a random parsley leaf. When I politely raised my concerns with the waiter, he smugly insisted that “this is how carbonara is made” and laughed at me, as if I was clueless. I found his tone and attitude incredibly disrespectful. A woman I believe was the manager stormed over to the table visibly irritated. However, as soon as she reached us, she changed her tone and facial expression, and handled the situation politely. I explained the issue again, and she offered to bring me another dish. I chose a margherita pizza, which arrived half-burnt and equally tasteless. I genuinely think frozen supermarket pizza would have been better. From the poorly made food to the lack of professionalism and basic courtesy, the whole experience was a major disappointment. I absolutely do NOT recommend this place.

The restaurant offers generous portions, but unfortunately, the quality of the food is disappointing. We tried the pomodoro pasta with truffle, which barely had any truffle flavor at all, despite its €20 price tag. For such a high cost, we expected much better ingredients and taste. Overall, it's not worth the price, even if the serving sizes are large.

I fell in love with the truffle pizza and the tortellini, my god. Hands down the best place and under rated.

Love this place! (Except the tiramisu that really disappointed. The almond extract/liqueur took over everything). But the tagliatelle was incredible! The pizza was fantastic. This Italian restaurant close to our Airbnb intrigued me with its vast selection of pizzas and pastas during our recent visit to Paris. We came here on 10.12.24 after making a reservation. The place was full of locals and regulars. Our friendly waiter took our order of the Pepperoni Pizza and the Chicken Penne Alfredo. The descriptions of our meals on the menu were unorthodox, to say the least. My gorgeous Pepperoni Pizza came out topped with the namesake plus ground beef, peppers, olives, and onions. The flavor was rich yet not too heavy due to the tasty thin crust that supported it. The date's Penne Alfredo was superb. Worcestershire sauce was added to the Alfredo, giving it an uncommon color and depth of flavor. The pasta was not grossly white and watery, but was imbued with a golden color, rich texture, and savory flavor never before found in an Alfredo dish. I would have inhaled it. Even more telling - I would have come back a second time on our trip if I could've instead of trying something new. The ambiance in here is warm and cozy. Great for a date night or family night.

Well, this in Paris, finding an authentic Italian restaurant was delightful! No matter where I am in the world, a homemade Italian meal will always fill my heart. Well, the food at Gambino was good, I can't quite give them a five star reading. We ordered the Cacio e Pepe but we're given fettuccine Alfredo. The gnocchi truffle had a delicious sauce, but the gnocchi were the size of gumballs and had the consistency of them too. Little tweaks that could make a big difference because it really seems like a great restaurant.

Service was really good. Our waiter was very nice and helpful about the menu. Small but very quaint nice environment for a small gathering and great conversation food good and nice wine selection.

After a hectic travel day, the concierge at our hotel recommended this spot for a good home style Italian dinner. We got a table as soon as we got there even on a busy Saturday night at 8pm. I got this mushroom/pesto pasta and my friend got the margarita pizza, both amazing. It all came so quickly, the food was great, the wait staff were super friendly - I'd gladly come back here.!

Bojour, thanks for stopping by and reading about my experience here. . I was done shopping after galleries of Lafayette, it was dinner time here. I walked in and was able to get a table less than 10 minutes. . I started with the truffle tortellini with white truffle pasta sauce. It was so good, I would come here to just order this again. I paired this dish with some white wine and it was such a lovely treat. . Overall it was close to my airbnb and alot of good restaurants. The truffle pasta was definitely a vibe. Service was great and quick too. I was impressed with the server speed Walking back and forth with food to upstairs. They were working hard. Overall thanks for reading and hope this helps. The romagnola pizza started with a chewy, but yet soft bread. The gentle tomato sauce made way for browned mozzarella cheese that had the proper cream flavor. The prosciutto and sun dried tomato blended well. Ditto for the burst of sweetness from the buffalo cheese. The rucola and Parmesan were just well thought out icing. My wife nor I never had anything this good in Italy.

Excellent!! Great food & service !!! We had the sun dried pesto , ricotta ?? ( looks like large raviolis. ) SO DELICIOUS!!! I believe most of the waiters speak english so can answer questions.

This restaurant checked all the boxes. Great location, great atmosphere and great food. As a family of four with a 10 & 13 yr old finding somewhere that makes us all happy is a challenge. We started with the calabria with the goat cheese toasts, good stuff. Dinner the kids both had spaghetti and my wife had the penne. I had the Veal with mushrooms, all dishes were very tasty and we would recommend this restaurant.

Walked in, party of one to a packed house. Host was gracious and found a table for me. Mixed antipast was fantastic. You see this on a sideboard when you walk in. Visually fantastic. The roasted red bell was perfection. House wine is good. Ordered a red then Vongole The waiter advised white which never happens in the States. Sound advice and I pivoted to a chardonnay. Vongole was average. 1/4 of the clamshells had no meat. Flavor was very mild. Linguine was perfectly al dente. Great ambiance, good buzz, right amount of noise. Excellent staff.

Excellent food and service. Extensive menu as well. Please note the portions here are huge, larger than any I would even receive in America especially for the price. The hot bruschetta in my opinion was a skip but the gnocchi with truffle sauce and ham is one I will think about forever. Torn between coming back for that or trying another pasta or pizza-- needless to say I will be back.

The restaurant is a bit off the beaten path a couple of blocks from the Louvre. The ambiance is quiet and rustic. The service was on the spot and the wait staff were very attentive. The house red wine pairs quite nice with the Fried Mozzarella with Tomatoes and Speck ham antipasti. The tortellini with speck and asparagus was so creamy and delicious. Serious depth of flavor with the added parmesan cheese It's delectable.

The Veal Milanese with French fries was delicious, it will be surely a place I would go back. Service was great and courteous they accommodated us without reservations. The ambiance was a plus

I wish I could give this a 3.5 stars because I feel like 3 seems too low! The place inside was super cute! The service was pretty good it took a little bit long to get the check but they were super busy! The portions were more than filling! The pasta dishes were really good! Unfortunately, the pizza was not very good, I ordered a Margherita pizza which typically has a lot of sauce and some cheese slices and basil, what I got was basically a cheese pizza with one basil leaf and it was smothered with cheese. The dough was nice and the sauce was yummy but it was just way too much cheese and tasted like something I could've got from a chain or something. If you're a pasta fan go! But if you're looking for pizza this not the place for you! But still I hate to be overly negative this place was super busy and fit us right in and everyone else had a yummy meal!

Ambiance is very cute and cozy, service was great and the food was delicious. Also it comes in HUGE portions, our waiter tried to warn us when we ordered an appetizer and 2 dishes for two of us, but we went with it anyways....

My lovely bride and I stopped in for an early dinner at Gambino on a Tuesday night. We shared the Caesar Salad - it is a generous serving, easily enough for two. The salad is an unusual rendition of a Caesar, but we enjoyed it enough to finish it off. My bride ordered the Penne All'arrabbiata. The pasta is fresh and the red sauce is killer, although not as spicy as she would have liked. She gave it her approval, however, and she is picky about her pasta. The highlight was the Pizza Diavola. Undeniably one of the best pizzas ever. Thin crust, beautiful tomato sauce, mozzarella, and spicy Italian sausage, topped with baby arugula. Absolutely stellar. Service is a little on the brusque side, but prompt and attentive. The baguette was served with an olive oil that was simply perfect - fresh, green and peppery. The ambience is sort of grotto-esque, a very warm atmosphere. Highly highly recommended!

Great ambiance and location. Staff was friendly and all the dishes look great but lacked in flavor. Pizza has a bowing alley or skating rink flavor. Haven't been to Italy yet and maybe that's the taste, but have had much better. Sauce was tasty, unfortunately, it had too much cheese and the dough was undercooked. Merguez sausage looked like Vienna sausages. The pasta bolognese was under seasoned and served with a spaghetti that really didn't stand up to the sauce. Had ice cream after and again, underwhelmed. Didn't have a a homemade or gelato taste or feel. The gnocchi and many other dishes that we saw come out looked terrific, just can't speak to their execution.

Ate here 3 times, so that has to say a lot. There was an Italian restaurant in New York (Little Italy), that we ate at 3 times as well. This place we a bit of a hike from the hotel by foot, but with the strike going on at the time, we made the journey once by foot the rest by Uber. Everything we ate here was good. The service is good, no complaints there. Just look at my pics.

Upon arrival in Paris, needed to find dinner. We stumbled on Gambino after a search of Yelp. The initial invite wasn't the warmest but I get it, American people who don't speak French. The wait staff pointed upstairs for more seating. Our server tried very hard to understand our English and special Caesar salad request. The waiter recommended the Tortellini stuffed with mushrooms and a black truffle cream sauce. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING (Yes, I'm shouting). If I could like the bowl without looking too crazy I would have. I then proceeded to sop the remaining sauce up with the bread, yes, I did!! My mom had the Penne Alfredo. It was okay to me but great to her. Plentiful for sure. The Amaretto was STRONG but good. Would definitely recommend this place to someone. I only have it 4 stars due to the wait sitting person, the additional request for saucers for the the olive oil to dip the bread. Not sure how they expect us to do that without plates.

Staff was very nice and food was amazing! Found this place because it was close to our hotel! They took us in even though we did not have a reservation and they were very accommodating. Ambiance was pleasant and would definitely recommend!

We were in Paris for Thanksgiving, and chose to have Italian food for our celebration. I had made 7 o'clock reservation for four people. When we arrived, the restaurant was already pretty busy. They could not find our name on the list but he looked up and around and he said never mind I have a seat for you. We had an absolutely wonderful meal!. Two of us had pasta carbonara my daughter had spaghetti with marinara, and my husband had a pasta dish with seafood that was out of this world. Everyone was gracious and kind. If we ever get back to Paris this is definitely on our to do list again!

This was an excellent Italian restaurant! Waiter spoke good English and very pleasant. Food was fast and exceptionally good! Would go there again!

We visited on. Friday night and we had a reservation for 7:30 and there were some open tables but by 8:15 the place was full. Started with some Birra Morettis and the Burrata salad. Salad was big enough for sharing and came with plenty of bread. The Burrata was very good. For main, ordered the Squid ink pasta with scallops. It was very good but I was expecting a saltier & more of a sea flavor. First time trying & from some research it was mixed about what the flavors (salty, fish, etc.) should be. The scallops were tasty but more of them would have made this dish better. We ordered a couple of pizzas also which were both excellent. Rocco (Parma ham, Parmesan, Pesto) & Cinzia (pepperoni, chorizo, mushrooms, egg)-looks like they sell a lot of pies. Staff, overall, was friendly. Our server started out attentive and then we lost him. Maybe a shift change? Another gentleman filled in. Great vibe with an ample selection of starters, pasta and pizza in a historic building.

Great, incredible Italian food. If you're American in Paris and looking for a place to eat near the louvre , DO NOT HESITATE. Incredible pasta dishes, you will want to return and try more. We stopped and had drinks beforehand elsewhere, as this is more "glass of wine" than "cocktails" vibe. Casual dining, gets busy after 8.

Well I'm back... came here 9 months and I'm back visiting Paris and I couldn't miss this place again. We absolutely loved it. Favorite Italian Restaurant in Paris. Everything was delicious. Food, service and the environment was perfect.

Ordered the lasagne and a glass of wine. Food was very hot but taste was average at best. The sauce lacked flavor and the salad was a handful of arugula with some tomatoes. Perhaps I chose the wrong item but I won't be returning.

Awesome ambience. Delicious wood-fired pizza and pasta. The Caesar salad was not what I expected. Dressing was bland mayonnaise tasting and it had fried chicken on it ‍ I'm used to the kind with lemon and a bit of anchovy as it was invented in Baja mexico. I would have given a 5 but for the salad.

the food was absolutely delicious! as Americans studying in Paris, the servers were very patient with us as our French is unfortunately lacking. the restaurant was quaint with a lovely, Italian ambience and came with delicious bread and unlimited water which is a huge plus from me! we will be back!

Gambino is near Place du Marché Saint'Honoré. It's a small but cozy restaurant with great service and even better food. They have a very broad selection of wines and liquors. So I started with a Cinzano. I eat a whole pizza pie, which I haven't done in a long time, which should tell you how good it was (I had the Casa). The couples at the tables around me were raving about their food too.

I got the truffle tortellini like everyone else, and yes it's stupid delicious. I couldn't walk after because I inhaled a plate full. If you could bottle up the scent of this pasta, I would use it to fill my apartment. Before, we got the bruschetta and just look how beautiful. The seafood risotto also rivaled the truffle tort. I'm in love with this place

We came here for my birthday lunch right after a long tour at the louvre. And wow....... Please come here. Do not skip out on this Italian restaurant. The pasta was so rich with flavour and every bite was exceptionally satisfying. The house red was so good and they do not rip you off on the portions. Service was also amazing and the staff were so helpful with recommendations on what else to do in Paris. We still dream about theses pastas to this day even now that we're home!

Came here for dinner without a reservation, the staff was so friendly and punctual. My sister got the lasagna and my aunt got the penne pesto, both of which were incredible; the pasta was perfectly al dente. The desserts and coffee were great also. Such a cute place with a nice rustic vibe.

I have been to Italy twice. This was the best Italian food I've ever had in my life. Absolutely delicious. Black truffle for tortellini, and spaghetti bolognese. FanTASTIC. Also, we had caprese salad before, and it contained the best buffalo mozzarella I've ever had. Simply insane.

Gambino is a pretty average Italian restaurant. We ordered the truffle tortellini and the prosciutto pizza (casa). The portion sizes were gigantic, which is good considering the price tag. The pizza we ordered was extremely salty. Maybe it was the prosciutto, but still, they did not do a good job of balancing the flavors... rather then just threw on the ingredients listed, baked it, and served it. Maybe try a different pizza, but in my opinion, the pizza we ordered did not have great flavor nor was the texture that good. The flavor of the pasta was decent. I wish they had more of the truffle cream sauce because the tortellini itself was very hard and kind of dry. Overall, he atmosphere is fine, service is relatively fast... but the food is subpar, average at best, compared to other Italian restaurants I've dined at.

The fact that I found this restaurant on Yelp after months for looking for it. My friends and I were walking around town where we stopped into​ this restaurant. This place was amazing, and the atmosphere was just great. I had ​penne pasta and shared a pizza with one of my friends. The servers we had were great. The food was affordable​ and I really enjoyed my experience. So much that I had to find this restaurant again!
