Gamma Monterrey Gran Hotel Ancira

Absolutely wonderful. I've nothing but positive words about this hotel. The lobby is stunning just beautiful, room is nice and clean, pool area is very nice as well. Pics already look great online but then in person this hotel is even better than expected. The staff is fantastic as well so kind and always helpful. Got to love the 12pm checkout time too! Fantastic location great for exploring on foot and central to everywhere that we wanted to go. 11/10 would stay here again and definitely recommend it!

Elegant old grand dame. Friendly, helpful staff, beautiful spaces and finishes. We had a room on the Fiesta Rewards floor (3) and the room was a small suite and very nice. Great location for seeing the sights on foot and plenty of great restaurants within an easy walk, too.

Great location with clean rooms in a beautiful building. We loved the bar there too.

Rooms are in poor condition, walls and doors are dirty and in general cleaning is poor, common areas are ok, service is good but it cannot compensate the lack of taking care of details.

This is a grand old hotel, well over 100 years old. The architecture is wonderful, and the lobby is a great place to hang out. The rooms are quite nice (at least on the "Fiesta Rewards" floor, floor 3 — I didn't see the others). The bed was comfortable, the bathroom clean and quite functional. There is a fridge. I wish there was a reading (ie, comfortable) chair in the room, but there wasn't — only a desk chair on casters.||The restaurant did not have the most interesting menu, but the food was really well prepared — the salmon was really good! We didn't try the breakfast buffet.||I couldn't figure out when the in-hotel Starbucks was open. Supposedly it opens at 8, but it wasn't the one day I checked it out.||The front desk staff are very friendly and competent.||Strongly recommended if you want an "old world" experience in the heart of Monterrey.

When we come to Monterrey we always stay here and Elizabeth Donias always takes good care of us! Definitely coming back

The only negative was a fridge that didn't work and the towels were way below par for a hotel of this caliber. Nothing to bother the staff about but it is disappointing when a property neglects the little things. The rooms were a bit worn but the hotel itself was beautiful and the staff was excellent. I would stay again

I paid for two king size rooms and was put into one queen and one king.The room was only partially clean and there was hair in the tub,carpet was not vacuumed,air conditioning vent was leaking the whole stay,the floor around the base of the toilet was filthy from build up grime,there were left over tags in the closet from previous guests.
