"This hotel is located in a handsome 18C town mansion, appointed in keeping with modern tastes and demands. The lady of the house bends over backwards to help her guests, and the lovely rooftop terrace is another bonus. Delightful establishment." - Tablet Hotels

This was by far the best place we stayed at in our 2 weeks in Belgium. We had a large loft room (no elevator but there is help with luggage) that had a very comfortable bed, a large bathroom with a shower and double sink, and two comfortable sitting areas. The hosts are very welcoming and breakfast with eggs to order, breads, yogurt and cereal was an extra charge but well worth it. The hotel is a short walk from the major sightseeing area and the street is quiet. Highly recommend.

Annika and Crystal are as “ Michelin” described: warm and welcoming. A grand staircase with intimate library and outdoor rooftop patio, my room was huge with high ceilings. Everything was provided for and a very comfortable bed. I chose to have breakfast which is a lovely and generous compliment of anything and everything with excellent quality. Highly recommend. Only 6-15 mi urea from anything and everything in Ghent but in a quiet setting.

Excellent accommodation and excellent host who was very hospitable, welcoming and very entertaining. Nothing was too much trouble. We highly recommend this place which is on the doorstep to central Ghent. The breakfast was highly yummy and fresh, thank you. We loved our stay with you and everything about it, particularly going up on the terrace in the evening whilst having a beer. The room was wonderful and very quiet and relaxing which we both needed. The bed was extremely comfortable and everything about the room was wonderful too. Thank you heaps. If you are reading this review, I would highly recommend this accommodation giving it a 10 out of 10. We will certainly be telling our friends where to stay. Richard and Susan from Australia.

The hotel is located just north of the old centre in a quiet street. We had the suite at the top of the building, which was great for the 5 days we stayed with plenty of room to relax.|Owners are both very nice and helpful for local knowledge, and we enjoyed the breakfasts and grabbing a coffee and biscuits/cake in the lounge at the end of day. We had to move our booking at the last minute and they made rearranging the booking very easy via chat.|Hotel location was great for the train (Dampoort station) and centre is less than 5 minutes walk. The art museum is maybe 25 min walk, but we didn't feel the need for taxi/bus/tram at all in Gent, it was all easily walkable.|We would definitely return to Gent, Ganda hotel and the many places to eat and drink in Gent.

We had a lovely overnight stay during our visit to Ghent and were very happy with our room. We loved the style and outside areas, especially the roof terrace. The room and en-suite was very clean and the bedding was luxurious. The owners were so friendly and we loved the healthy and delicious homemade breakfast. Very convenient location for everything, in a quiet area.

Highly recommend the Ganda room and suites. Super cute boutique hotel with beautifully decorated rooms and cozy communal areas. Service was excellent, breakfast was the delicious and the Belgian beer in the “Honesty Fridge” was cold. Excellent experience overall! Thanks!

Unfortunately, our stay was very disappointing. The room was not clean: the sheets had stains, and when I stretched the sheets and mattress protector myself (since the bed was never properly made), I found the protector was full of hair. The bed was uncomfortable and had a noisy plastic cover. The bathroom was very small and there was no hot water. We found a large spider, more on the ceiling, and got bitten by mosquitoes. The room faced a courtyard with people constantly passing by, so there was no privacy and a lot of noise. The decoration was strange and disturbing, especially a painting that seemed to mock religious themes. On top of everything, the final price we were charged was higher than what was listed on Booking. My partner and I agreed this was one of the worst hotels we've ever stayed in — and definitely one of the most expensive for what it offered. Very poor value for money.

The hosts were very welcoming. We enjoyed our spacious & stylish room under the roof with the big decorative painting. The bed is excellent and so very comfortable and the linens are lovely. |The elegant & cozy living-room with the many beautiful art books and travel guides is a joy. |The whole house is filled with art and has a wonderful vibe! We can't wait to return!
