We were on our way home from an amazing vacation. My husband wanted to stop and get food in Baltimore since some of the best food in Maryland is found in Baltimore. We some how decided on G&M and I am VERY happy we did. Honestly I was a little skeptical due to the decor BUT I was very mistaken. The service was amazing, our waitress Jamie was so sweet and she was on top of her game! My seafood pasta came out with a hair in it and she immediately apologized and had the staff remake it. It was SOOO delicious! My husband is a huge risotto fan so we he saw it on the menu he had to try it and he said it reminded him of his first bowl of risotto! We also ordered calamari and crab dip which were both delicious! I would only say that I think the crab dip would be better on a tortilla chip or something lighter than bread and the calamari would be delicious with a second lighter sauce option. Also the portions were perfect! I was full leaving and had some for lunch the next day! We definitely look forward to coming back and giving the crab cakes a try!

Very nice place for a dine-in. It has the best flavor and very well organized. It was very busy place. The best time to get there without waiting is between 4:30 and 5 pm. We ordered seafood dish, crab cake platter and cream of crab soup. Super delicious. I recommend crab cake platter.

Google
Food and service were just amazing!! Just passing through the area and found this place. Such a great find!! Portions are huge! Had my first crab cake in MD. Just ordered a single and it was huge and so much crab!! Delicious! A friend had the jambalaya. She said it was the best she’s had. Wasn’t so tomato based. Everything was delicious!! Will be stopping through every year we come into down.

Monica was the most attentive steward for this restaurant. Her suggestions of what to eat did not fall on deaf ears. I said I was thinking about a steak and wanted to definitely try a crab cake. She recommended the 14 oz ribeye and an ala-cart 4 oz crab cake and boy it did not disappoint one bit! The crab cake is packed with meat and will tickle any crab lovers fancy for sure! The ribeye was thick juicy and so tender I could cut it with a fork! Melt in your mouth perfectionism.

This was my wife and my first visit to G&M. My mother in law had spoke so highly of this place when she used to work in Baltimore so we had to try it out. We started with the zucchini pedals which I thought were very good. The rolls were pretty basic but big. My wife ordered a cup of the cream of crab soup and that was just so delicious. Nice chunks of crab. We all got the crab cake platter(single). Absolutely the best crab cake Ive ever had. The mashed potatoes were good but the broccoli lacked seasoning. Definitely will go with the coleslaw next time as my mother in law got it and let me have a bite. I'm a fan of more sweet coleslaw and this was it. Our waiter Yani(not sure of spelling) was fantastic and even was able to get my mother in law a box of crabcakes to take back with us on our 8 hour drive home. This place is definitely a must try when in the area. I was also introduced to Natty Boh beer and loved the taste so much I went across the street after dinner and bought two 30 packs to take back home. Outstanding overall experience.

Google
We had an excellent meal at G&M Restaurant!! Everything about this restaurant is great especially the seafood!! Amazingly fresh and delicious !!! Portion size was comparable as was the price. One person in our party got a Gin & Tonic and she said it was “the best she’s ever had.” Our server was Sharon and she was nice as well. All in all, it was a fine dinner experience. Thank you.

Google
We were told these are the best crab cakes on the planet and I must disagree with them. While they are good, I’ve had better. All of the food across the board was not amazing. The restaurant is very busy, they do a lot of volume. Prime rib was ordered medium rare and came well done. Soup was not very flavorful. Rolls were dry. For the price and all of the hype, it wasn’t our favorite. Apparently it’s a Maryland institution! The employees were kind and helpful. Nice evening still. We would return, just with lower expectations.

Google
First visit! Excellent experience with a fantastic server- she was attentive and helpful with the menu. We had a crab cake that was amazing and crab soup and crab dip- all were excellent and gave us a new appreciation for crab meat! Can’t wait to return!

Yelp
We recently had G&M overnight crab cakes to our family as we celebrated NYE in Breckenridg, CO. My brother turned us on to G&M a few years ago and purchased us a gift card for Christmas this year as my daughters fell in love with the crab cakes! It was the best meal and the whole family wants this as our new tradition each year! We made them so easy at our cabin and it really was a special experience! It's so great you can ship your amazing food anywhere! Thank you so much!

Bruce P.

Yelp
Hope to make this a yearly tradition. Sending great MARYLAND crabcakes down to the waste land of bad crabcakes known as Florida lol.

Yelp
The G&M Crab cakes are the best I have had... they are so delicious, its sad when you run out but you can always re-order. HIGHLY recommended from a well traveled food guy.

Yelp
While visiting with our family, his sister Fedex'd some crab cakes from G & M Restaurant & Lounge and they graciously pan-fried us some crab cakes. Not too heavy on the seasoning, so the crabmeat really shines through like the sweetness and freshness. Wow, so good! [Taken from their website] "Proudly serving Baltimore crab cake lovers for over 30 years. As we have grown over the years, our business has expanded from exclusively in-room dining to shipping all over the US."

Yelp
I decided to bring my guy here as he loves seafood and a good crab cake is his fave! We were greeted right away as soon as we entered the restaurant and seated! We were greeted by a nice young man! There were many people dining this evening! Many were celebrating events this evening! We were celebrating a late birthday for him! We ordered calamari, chargrilled grilled oysters and crab cakes and steaks! You cannot come to G &M and not get a crab cake!! This was my first time trying chargrilled oysters!! They were so good! But the good was awesome also!! Absolutely no complaint! The steak was cooked to perfection!! Loved our experience at G &M!

Yelp
My coworkers and I visit G&M often for lunch celebrations. They are great at accommodating large parties. Service is always fast and friendly, the prices are reasonable and the food is tasty. During today's visit, I tried the Sea Bass, which was on their specials menu. I was truly surprised at how large the filet was, didn't except to get so much for 19 bucks. The fish was cooked and seasoned perfectly, very flavorful.

Yelp
Before leaving on another weekend getaway out of the DMV, my Handsome picked this spot for dinner. It's far from the city but close to BWI so of course he wanted me to try. He said this was the best crab cake ever and that it gave Jerry's a run for their money so this girl was excited to come. Service was good! Nice hosts and sweet waitress. Ambiance is giving causal, you definitely don't need to dress up. Oysters - GREAT Crab cake - Good Drinks - GREAT Overall, I get why the Big Spoon likes this place. Definitely worth a try.

Yelp
Best crab cakes in Maryland which means the best in the world. One of the few places that can honestly extoll that their award-winning dish is "famous." It is, and for good reason. Each 8oz. crab cake is mostly all jumbo lump Maryland Blue Crab meat and love...I mean flavor. Maybe just the slightest of binder. Get the double crab cake platter and thank me later. You will be upset if you get just one. Carry out or eat in and the competition is not even close. If you love crab cakes and have not had these then you have not had proper crab cakes. G&M has fantastic seafood, Greek specials, pizza, and more on a glorious menu. The cream of crab soup is another favorite too. My non-seafood eating brother loves their wings. I wouldn't know, since the mission for me is crab cakes only. The sides are great too, especially when they have simply steamed broccoli. The service is always nice and efficient. They remind me of how service used to be at the old school places like Hot Shoppes and Big Boys (in a good way). The prices are okay, especially considering the high price of jumbo lump crab meat. All this served in a classic seafood restaurant that has multiple dining rooms each with its own charter and charm. Five stars for my favorite crab cakes in Maryland which means the best in the world (at least in my travels).

Yelp
I thoroughly enjoyed my meal at G & M Restaurant. I ordered the double crab cakes with green beans and French fries, and everything was absolutely delicious. For my appetizer, I had the firecracker shrimp, which was equally impressive. The service was good, and our server, Chrissy, was attentive and friendly. However, I did encounter an issue with my second glass of Sauvignon Blanc. It was served in a dirty glass with lipstick stains on the rim, which was disappointing. I requested a fresh glass of wine, but it was clear that the same wine had simply been poured into a clean glass. This left me feeling frustrated, as I expected better attention to detail. Despite this hiccup, the overall experience was pleasant. The ambiance and decor are very inviting, making it a nice spot for a meal. While the wine issue was a letdown, the food and atmosphere make me open to visiting again.

Yelp
Seated quickly and service was friendly. Food took a little bit to get, but it was well worth it. Firecracker shrimp was fantastic. Many delicious seafood entrees to choose from as well as desserts. There is a full bar area inside as well.

Yelp
Crab cakes here are out of this world!! Came here from a recommendation, did not disappoint. They are massive, full of large lump crab, and the flavor is perfect. These crab cakes were everything, I am going to dream about them.

Yelp
I was craving a crab cake, and my friend was craving a burger so off to G & M. I haven't been here since before Covid. The jumbo lump crab cake with huge lumps of crab meat with just the amount of filler to hold the cake together was good. Almost as good as mine. LOL The cocktail sauce is perfect its zesty and flavorful. Loved the garlic mash so smooth and creamy with great flavor and texture. Old fashioned creamy coleslaw was fresh and homemade. My friend said her hamburger was good. Service was super quick.
google avatar

Yelp
I love G&M's. I made sure to stop by during my stay in Baltimore. I went during lunch and was able to be seated immediately. I ordered the crab cake sandwich and it was DELICIOUS! It so fresh and my picture doesn't give the crab cake size justice. It's the size of a baseball. There was ample seating in the dining room and the service was quick. I'm so happy that you can order their crab cakes online to be shipped home. I would definitely suggest G&M to get your crab cake fix.
google avatar

Tina S.

Yelp
Celebrating my birthday in MD my cousin recommended G & M restaurant and they didn't disappoint. Great service, good food and great portions. The prices comparable to other seafood restaurants in the area. Also great desserts. The staff very friendly but note if you make reservations you must all be present before they will seat you. The ambiance was pleasant. The would go back again.
google avatar

Shakerra E.

Yelp
Very nice portion and it's not too costly. The food had a pretty good flavor. The chicken was seasoned very well but the shrimp could've had a little more SOMETHING. Also could've used more broccoli. The added old bay made the dish complete.
google avatar

Andre P.

Yelp
G&M has the best crab cake in Maryland hands down. 100% crab meat. No filler. It's seasoned to perfection. Perfect size. I can go on and on. I love the half and half as well. Full of flavor and crabmeat. Go to G&M today. Treat yourself. Don't cheat yourself #EatGoodAndBeHappy

Yelp
The service was subpar at best. The waiter had no patience and rushed us. However, i went for the crab cake. I've been in Baltimore 3 days and this was the BEST most flavorful full of lump crab meet I've ever had. It was what i had expected when people talk abt Baltimore crab cake!!! Ambiance was kinda dull, but clean and neat. Service was a 2/10 Crab cake was a 9.2/10
google avatar

Yelp
Crab cake Sandwich. At first bite, I realized that I've been taking crab cakes for granted. This is the BEST lump crab I've had. Good texture with the broil, tenderly cooked. Love the crab. Fries and pickle were crisp. Venue is nice for a date night, would recommend to anyone!

Yelp
I was surprised the prices stayed relatively the same since I last been here a couple years ago. It wasn't as busy as it was back then though. My dad loves the crab cakes here and I brought him here to get a couple crab cakes. We sat down, we ate, and we left. He still loves the taste and it was done well. The crab meat is soft and tender and there is no fishy smell. The interior could use a bit of sprucing up as it feels older and it was giving me a similar vibe to Red Lobster. Some flies were hovering around. Not a bad experience. The service was nice and attentive. Food was good. Just nothing spectacular that would make me come out an hour away on a regular basis.

Yelp
7.4.24 Highly recommend the crab cakes which is all meat and has no fillers. I had a crab cake sandwich with mashed potatoes and gravy. Both were tasty. I also snuck a few fries from my hubby. It was crispy and cooked perfectly, not overdone. My mother-in-law ordered the French Onion Soup and couldn't eat it because it was too salty. I finished it and although salty thought it was still edible. Entrees are generous and hearty. Left feeling stuffed. This is my hubby and my favorite go to restaurant for crab cakes.

Yelp
This is the best place for Crab Cake! Pretty big restaurant. Calamari wasn't good! Shrimp was really good . Crab cake really really good and big. I took single one and I couldn't finish! Blueberry cheesecake and coffee tasty! Try it!

Yelp
We were on the hunt for crab cakes when I read the reviews for G&M. I was so glad to have found this place. Thank you Yelp!!!! We were seated quickly and everyone here seemed friendly enough. We told them it was our first time and the server gave some recommendations and advice in some of the dishes. I appreciated her input. Then she brought us some rolls that were the size of softballs. It was a good way to start. Off of her advice we went with the half and half bowl of soup. It was delicious. I am glad I got both because they were equally great but completely different. I had the crab cake platter with 2 crab cakes. Legitimately these are the best ones I have ever had. So rich and decadent they just needed that little squeeze of fresh lemon and nothing else. So satisfying and worth the price, which is kind of expensive. The baked potato was regular and so was the coleslaw. It's a little on the sweet side. If you want crab cakes come here. Period.
google avatar

Alfred L.

Yelp
I ordered the cream of crab soup, and the jumbo crab cake with brussels sprouts and mashed potatoes. These items came heavily recommended by my server. The cream of crab was good, though it had a weird, bitter aftertaste. There were nice chunks of crab meat that reminded me that this was indeed, a crab based dish. Otherwise there was no crab flavor at all. The jumbo crab cake that was served to me looks like it was cut in half? For $30 I'd expect the whole crab cake "sphere". It was mediocre at best, slightly worse than Faidleys in downtown Baltimore. I don't believe it was seasoned much at all, but the crab tasted fresh. Mashed potatoes and brussel sprouts were good appetizers choices. The mash had a nice creamy texture, and the sprouts were seasoned well. Only complaint was that I only got 4 halves worth of servings. Did I accidentally order the kids meal??

Yelp
ONLY RATING THEIR CRAB CAKES! G&M has the best crab cakes in the Baltimore area. They cook their crabs VERY clean with no fishy aftertaste at all. The restaurant is huge - you wont really have a problem getting a spot. Get a double crab cake. You won't regret it!!
google avatar

Lu T.

Yelp
Let me start with service, Nina was great. She provided 1st class service with a wonderful smile. As for the food, it good but not great. Appears to be a local stop for many as it is crowded on certain days. We could not get in on a Wednesday but Thursday was lighter. The mussels were good except a few of them were undercooked. The broth it came in was solid. I ordered the Seafood Fra Diavolo which was decent. It is a little on the spicy side. Came with a lot of seafood. Overall is was a decent place to get some good value if you are hungry.

Yelp
The crab cakes are epic! Thick morsel of fresh Baltimore crabs that is sooo delicious , perfectly done! Even the crab bisque or dip was to die for ! The fish n chips which could have been ordinary is just crispy good. Our first stop arriving in this city from the City of Angels & the locals appreciate this institution & we do agree. The staff are so charming & efficient (look for Jill, so pretty & adorable )& the manager Sharon knows her business well & good! Best of the Best

Yelp
Asked a few locals where to go and get good Maryland crab cakes and G & M was it! Very convenient for us as we were headed back to the airport and it's only 11 minutes from the rental car return. All the food was delicious. Started with the Martland crab soup. I'm more of a clam shower girl but this soup was very good. It was like a spicy veggie soup with crab - fresh and good. The scallops were very good and the Thai chili sauce set off the flavors. The lump crab cake was so flakes and delicious. I loved the parmesan cheese in the wedges and the potatoes where perfectly whipped. We had no room for dessert which is a shame because everything looked good in the case. Krissy was an awesome server. She gave us great recommendations, was super friendly and attentive. Great experience!

Monae S.

Yelp
My job took us to lunch at G & M which I was happy about because it's been awhile. I got myself a crab cake and Greek salad. A small complaint I do have is that the crab cake platter came with two sides but somehow I couldn't do one Greek salad in place of both sides. Luckily I wasn't paying but I thought that was kind of crazy. Anyway, they have a nice big parking lot. The dining area is large but in my opinion slightly outdated. The crab cake was good though. My salad was nice and fresh. The best part was the dessert. I had a crème brûlée cheesecake that was mind blowing. Service was ok and I have had better crab cakes in Baltimore for sure. Overall, ok experience and I would go back and actually spend my own money.

Yelp
A good friend from Maryland told me this was THE spot for me to go to find my beloved no filler crab cakes. The restaurant is unassuming, located on a random corner. There is plenty of parking both in front of the restaurant and behind. She was so, so right. Whether you get the 4 oz, 8 oz, or the two crab cake plate, you'll be in heaven with fresh, flavorful crab meat in big ol' perfect lumps and no garbage filler. They were also perfectly seasoned - packed with that distinctive Maryland Old Bay flavor! Calamari and scallops were also big hits. The scallops in particular were delicious. They were perfectly cooked. Our server, Monica, was attentive and overall terrific.
google avatar

Briana L.

Yelp
G&M has some of the best crabcakes in Maryland! Best entrée is the double crabcake platter that includes 2 8z ounce broiled lump crabcakes and two sides! Homemade mashed potatoes in huge fresh broccoli. Save room for dessert if you can! The brownie cheesecake was enough to share for two people. A lot of seating with multiple rooms inside. Service can be a little slow at peak hours, but it's worth the wait. Clearly the wait staff has been there a long time and will always make sure that you get what's with your meal.

Yelp
I was in town and tried G & M based on the reviews. I have been there twice this week. The first night I dined in the restaurant. I started with seared scallops had red snapper on a bed of mashed potatoes with crab. The red snapper was a bit overcooked but still good. My second visit I had a crab cake, mashed potatoes and a salad. The crab cake was the best that I have ever eaten. Sooooooo much crab and very little filler. I saw an Orioles game while I was in town and the local sitting next to me also recommended G&M after I had already been there twice. I am sure that I will go back again before I leave town.
google avatar

Kim Z.

Yelp
I compare all crab cakes to G&M - since I have written a few reviews recently on the topic. These are undisputed BEST crab cakes I've ever had. Full of lump crab with minimal filler. I can't give the restaurant itself 5 stars as it is sorely in need of updating from the 1960s but maybe that's part of the ambience?
google avatar

Bonnie L.

Yelp
This is my second time and highly recommend if you are a fan of crab cakes. These are some of the best. Tasty and so much amazing crab, barely any filler. Note there can be a wait for a table but it goes fairly quickly. 30 minutes for 2 on a weeknight at 6pm. Online reservations for party of 5 or more. There is a parking lot. The Caesar salad was good. Fresh. The crabcake was hot and delish. The mashed potatoes were cold and average. The broccoli was cold and not a lot of flavor. The apple walnut salad was a surprise. It was huge. Wet fresh. Great ingredients. So delish. Recommend! Got a coconut cake to go. It was solid. Would try something else next time. Definitely go if you are a fan of crab cakes!
google avatar

C L.

Yelp
Service was very good. Everyone who ordered both types of crab soup, loved them. Sides good, but the crabcakes, still some if not the best in the area. Whenever folks are in from away, it's a good to place for a good meal.

B.A. A.

Yelp
Your crab cakes are my go to gift ! When visiting friends out of town, I always ship them some as a thank you. It blows them away every time!

Yelp
So many people in MD told me that I had to stop here for the crab cakes-- I'm glad I listened. We got in about an hour before they closed and I'm so glad because immediately you can tell it's the type of restaurant that packs in quickly. Our server was the sweetest man, made us feel right at home. The crab cakes were one word-- DELICIOUS. Fresh, flavorful, and PACKED with crab. A NJ crab cake would literally hate to see a MD crab cake coming. I wish I could've ordered more to put in my feezer at home. I didn't love the tartar sauce and coleslaw but the cocktail sauce was perfect. We also ordered some MD crab soup but it was super salty, couldn't really enjoy it. Overall, I'd recommend what this place is known for-- the crabcakes.

Yelp
While visiting in Baltimore, we decided to dine here for lunch. I was told that Baltimore had the best crab cakes and G & M did not let me down. The food was amazing, the crab cake was served with asparagus and garlic potatoes, I also had a glass of red wine. The service was great. Our waitress was very attentive and kind. The restaurant was kind of dark and I can remember being cold because we were seated near the front door, but this is definitely a spot that I would recommend for good seafood.
google avatar

Wayne C.

Yelp
What can I say about this restaurant that hasn't already been said? Nothing. It lives up to its reputation as the king of the crab cake. Without a doubt the best I've had. It knocked my previous favorite off their perch as my favorite for years. This will be my new 'must not miss' when I'm in Baltimore.

Yelp
It was absolutely awesome to be order this for my grandma she was shocked and surprised she loves G & W Seafood Crabcakes they are the Greatest

Yelp
BEST crab cakes for miles around!!! Been coming here for years and the quality had not changed. The portions have gotten smaller but the price and taste is still the same. Excellent lumpy crab cakes. Love the soup! Desserts are a lot of fun too! Will keep on coming back!!! Open a store in NYC and I will be there weekly!!!

Yelp
Excellent crab cake sandwich, no idea if the staff at the place is friendly because I had to delivered. Delivery took a while via Uber eats, but it's not a pro or con, it's just reality. Things were packed well, I love that they put the gravy for my fries on the side. I figured the fries would be soggy by the time I got them, which they were, again to be expected after almost an hour delay, but not a ding against the voice. I did find a piece that was actually quite crispy, though these are more steak fry type, which is not my type of fry. But with the gravy, which has excellent rich flavor, they were quite good. I also love that they did not charge extra for the gravy. The crab cake is really good, very little breading, and massive chunks about the size of the top of my thumb from the joint. They taste extremely crabby, which is great, not that bad seafood type taste. Just pure crab. Bread was somehow decently together still, bottom was a little bit more fall aparty, which makes sense because it sat for an hour. I ended up getting the 8 oz, and I ended up having way more food than I actually needed. Though I really just wanted the crab cake, the fries were unnecessary, so if you go just get a crab cake if you can without the sandwich or anything else. I recommend you get it fresh, not delivered.

Yelp
Crab cake dinner outstanding. Best crab cake in Maryland. Service was great. Ambiance very nice. Bakery next door off the chain. Try one of everything.

Yelp
I had my first Maryland style crabcake from G&M several years ago and haven't looked back since. When i want to highlight a good crabcake for out of towners, this is where I grab take out from. I have come here for my crab cake fix for carryout orders for more than a decade now and while the prices have gone up, the crabcakes remain consistent. I have yet to dine in at this place but still deem the crabcakes a Maryland staple for takeout.
google avatar

Joy B.

Yelp
Good & bad. First, let me say that the 8 oz. Crabcake was pretty good, but it lacked flavor and didn't have enough (or any) Old Bay Seasoning. I also, I suspect that it was pre-cooked because it looked dry and was served lukewarm. Being from a family in the restaurant business, I certainly know when food is fresh and when it's not. In addition, the place is pretty run down, tables sticky, and truly needs a facelift. At the minimum, they should have white paper on the tables, and the dining room area needs a fresh coat of paint, mirrors, a focal point of accent paint on the back wall, updated lighting and some with better 'seafood restaurant' decor. The bar and entryway are nicely decorated, but the lack of decorating in the dining room leads us to wonder why the owner stop the decorating at the entryway and Bar? Service yesterday was poor with a lack of wait staff. I only saw four servers in the dining room, which was only 25% full at 3:15 p.m. and they still couldn't serve that many people properly. It took forever for us to get menus, have our food served, and the server never came back to ask if we wanted a refill on our drinks or if we needed any condiments. The crab cake was a nice large crab cake 8 oz for $28 but only included one side. We got fries. But if you want coleslaw that would be an additional $4. We ordered that and we're surprised to see only ¼ cup of coleslaw for that price. The (unseasoned) fries were hot, but nothing special. They weren't homemade. It would be just as easy for this restaurant to make better fries by cutting their own potatoes and deep fry them instead of serving frozen fries. On Labor Day, we were told that dinner menu pricing would be in effect all day. It would have been nice for that to be noted online and on the menu. Candles were on the table but not lit. If we're going to be paying for dinner pricing, we do expect a little more atmosphere for dinner service. Bathrooms were very clean Moving on to the desserts... I would highly recommend going to the carryout area next door for desserts because you'll get a much better selection there. My only complaint is that the glass on the cases was absolutely filthy, and it looks like the dessert cases hadn't been cleaned in some time. The residue of something sticky with a hair embedded in it on the interior shelving was off-putting. We were told that the owner is currently on vacation in Greece and has been for a while; which may be the reason for all of this. But he should really appoint someone qualified to oversee the restaurant in his absence.
google avatar

Ren H.

Yelp
The best crab cake hands down! They are filled with super lump crab meat and very minimal filling. They're cooked to perfection and you don't need any sauce added to them. The garlic mashed potatoes were meh to me, a bit hard and not that soft or creamy. Coleslaw was nice and crunchy. You also get complimentary bread and butter which is nice. Staff and service were good. A bit of an older styled restaurant but really spacious inside with lots of seating. Come here for the crab cakes!

Yelp
Probably the best crab cake I've ever had. I only think of one other crab cake that even comes close. I also got the crab soup, both the creamy and the tomato based. You can ask them to mix them together. It was quite delicious. They also have screwball peanut butter whiskey which I like. And then I got half a dozen cookies to go for $4.50. That's a pretty good deal. Very attentive bartender. I will go back when I visit Baltimore again.

Yelp
Why is this place Not a total five star on yelp? The prices are reasonable. They have a wide and varied menu and great specials. Their desserts are fabulous. Service is old-school meaning- polite, respectful, attentive, accurate. Servers and bus persons are uniformed and everyone helps you. The owners have been doing it for so many years that they got it down to a science. Lines out the door on weekends. We will keep coming back

Yelp
G&M Restaurant and Lounge: The Crab Cake Capital of My World Whenever I'm in town, making a stop at G&M Restaurant and Lounge is non-negotiable for me. It's like a culinary beacon calling my name, especially for their legendary crab cakes. This time around, I was running tight on time, but I couldn't leave without my crab cake fix, so I called ahead for a to-go order. Let's talk about these crab cakes - they're not just good; they're a crab lover's dream. Affordably priced, these cakes are jam-packed with lump crab meat, each bite offering a burst of flavor that's both rich and satisfying. The texture, the taste, everything about these crab cakes screams top quality. Accompanying the crab cakes, the fries are always crispy, golden, and the perfect sidekick. And the coleslaw? It's a refreshing finish, balancing out the meal with its creamy, tangy goodness. Though I had to take my order to go this time, every visit to G&M Restaurant and Lounge is a reminder of why I love this place. The thought of dining in next time has me counting down the days. Their combination of fantastic food, comfortable atmosphere, and consistent quality makes it a must-visit for anyone in the area. If you find yourself near G&M Restaurant and Lounge, do yourself a favor and stop by. Whether you're dining in or grabbing a to-go order, their crab cakes are a culinary experience you don't want to miss. Can't wait to return and enjoy the full dine-in experience!
