The food here was amazing! It was my 1st time having curry and it did not disappoint! The staff were all so friendly and the service was very quick! You are missing out if you don't try this place!

Ganesh Indian restaurant is a small restaurant in hoi an and was walking distance from our hotel golden holiday hotel and spa. The owner was quite nice and helped us with information on hoi an and helped us exchange currency too. We ordered for mint and garlic naan, daal and paneer. Everything was tasty. Quantity was decent too. Then we had Palak paneer which was good too. They had a special naan stuffed with veggies like carrot, paneer, gobhi etc which was quite tasty. Nice Indian cuisine. They were to renovate the ground floor. Ambience could be better.,

The food was very nice, and we were given free unlimited water. They forgot about our appetizer, but we weren’t too fuzzed about it. Had a good experience here.

Can't begin to explain how delectable the veg thali was. Mildly flavored. Good portion size. And fresh and wholesome. The owner was super friendly. We were about to order two thalis and he suggested that one would suffice. Now where would you find that honesty and integrity. Must visit when in Hoi An.

Very disappointed with what the restaurant has become. 11 years ago, this used to be the best Indian restaurant in Vietnam. The waiters were great and the food was awesome. Today we ordered a mutton curry and a kulcha. They were just OK but nothing special. The curry was too watery. The service was truly bad. We arrived and decided to sit outside. The waitress didn’t even care about bringing the menu. She was simply standing behind the glass doors and staring at us. The manager is obviously good at doing the same. He looked at me and I looked back at him so he came to ask me whether everything was OK. I told him what I thought about the quality of service. Believe it or not, he simply turned back and closed the door. The very definition of “professional”. Needless to say, no more Ganesh for us.

Mid trip in Vietnam and we were craving Indian food, went here as it was recommended in the lonely planet- so glad we did! The portion sizes are very generous and the food is authentic in flavours. We asked for spicy and that’s exactly what we got. The owner is great and we had a good chat about home (India) and living abroad away from our families. We went there as a family of four and had the vegetarian thali, chicken tikka, prawn tikka, paneer shahi and the superb naans!

Oldest Indian restaurant in Hoi An, established 1991 and now with chains in other Vietnamese towns and cities. Introduced through a local friend and delighted with the meal. We had vegetarian, but the range of meat options looked great. Superb spicy potato filled samosas, great garlic naan, and range of other breads. Egg curry and daal both eggcellent and delicious, only let down from 5* was the poppadom - not crisp, could be better! Okay, Hoi An has humidity, but if the Vietnamese can keep their crackers cracking, then either cook the poppadom to order or bag them for 5*
