Gangtey Monastery (Gangtey Goenpa) is one of Bhutan’s most important Nyingma Buddhist monasteries, overlooking the breathtaking Phobjikha Valley. Founded in the 17th century, it is the spiritual heart of the Black-Necked Crane region and a key pilgrimage site in central Bhutan.
