Amazing atmosphere!! The staff are friendly and their service is outstanding 🙌 Food is also amazing, have had the kiwi burger (twice this week) followed by the brownie and baileys hot chocolate tonight.. overall very impressed with Gantley’s Tavern and will be back before we leave 😊

The food was just okay, but I really liked the place itself. The coffee, however, was excellent!

This was such a nice little breakfast spot, we visited after doing the shotover jet and were pleasantly surprised. The food was delicious and the service was fabulous. Would definitely recommend!

After a morning hike I stopped in for some lunch and samples of local beer. The outdoor seating area was nice on a sunny day so I sat outside. After I looked over the menu I stepped inside and placed my order of a pork belly salad and a taster of 4 beers. Shortly after the beer was brought to my table and a bit later the salad. Sadly that was the highpoint as the pork belly salad (which was not cheap) was more like pork belly fat with a couple pieces of cauliflower and just a small amount of salad. I have had several meals with pork belly during my time in NZ and by far the worst. While the beer was cold and enjoyable the atmosphere was ruined by a lady seated outside with three dogs who were constantly barking with the owner just taping on her keyboard or loudly chatting on her phone. Given the many options in the area I would recommend somewhere else for an enjoyable lunch and beer.
