Lovely little tavern. We went for afternoon tea and had brownie with ice cream. It was cozy by the fire. Dogs are allowed inside. They also have pencils and paper for the kids to color. They have live music on certain nights. Staff were helpful and friendly.

A relatively quiet spot close to by tucked away from the more touristy Arrowtown and Queenstown areas. We loved the relaxed atmosphere with cosy nooks you could sink into by fireplaces in every room, well priced hearty pub meals, really friendly service, good local wine list and some excellent very drinkable local brews. The staff were super friendly and accommodating. Loved the selection of freshly made massive scones, brownies/ blondies, muffins and pastries, they looked awesome and apparently change daily. We enjoyed the outdoor fire place and lovingly restored heritage buildings. Very cool to keep the original owner’s name. The copper downpipes show how much love the latest owners have put into this place. It’s a real credit to them supporting the history of the area so lovingly. We got some matching Gantry’s Tavern T-shirts for a bit of fun. Great day, made some awesome memories - thanks guys!!

What an awesome place. Full of history but have moved with the times. The atmosphere is great, the staff and the food to match. Had the nachos which were very generous but too good not to finish. My wife had the tofu burger and said the best fried tofu she has had. Certainly hope to visit again.

Best restaurant in all of Queenstown. Lots of outdoor siting area next to the giant smoker. The smell of burned wood in the air😍. On top of that they have great espresso and food.

Visited Friday 16th May - Lunch Ordered: Beer Battered Monkfish and Kiwi Burger Drinks: Maude Easy Block Riesling and Flight Board (of 4 l-r: Mango Guava Sour, Shipwreck Double IPA, Ella's Lager, Heyday IPA) The Monkfish was an absolute stunner, Crispy and tasty, not too much oil was left on the dish, not flaky but amazing and different to other fish and chips, where they usually standard fish fillets The burger was packed full of ingredients, beef patties, bacon slices, lettuce, beetroot, and sauces - it was amazing The fries on both dishes were crunchy and filling The beer flight is always a good idea to try out different beers for the one price ($25) rather than drinking just the one beer. They do have a great selection of beers available on tap The only letdown was the Riesling, a bit too sweet Service was good

Cracking experience, great staff, food and service. Thanks to the staff for allowing us to watch the NRL grand final.

A classic friendly pub for the people. The heartwarming community atmosphere you might get in a church, but without the churchiness and instead with beers and good food. Think the TV show “Cheers” but in Queenstown. Also a historic building as a bonus.
