Gap Plaza Hotel

If I were to rate this hotel, I would probably give it no stars because the service was really poor. Let me explain further: First, there was no staff available to assist with carrying luggage from the entrance, and it was uncomfortably hot since there seemed to be no air conditioning in the reception area. Second, the elevator was out of service, so if your room happens to be on one of the upper floors, you’ll have no choice but to use the stairs. Third, the room wasn’t very clean and was extremely dim due to poor lighting placement. Fourth, the telephone in the room wasn’t working, and the light switches looked unsafe as if they were about to sink in. Fifth, the room was hot, possibly because the air conditioner hadn’t been cleaned or maintained properly. For these reasons, I cannot recommend this place at the moment.

It is right in the middle of the Balanga restaurant area. You won't go hungry.|It's quite a pleasant hotel with woodcarvings to give it a touch of individuality.|The room was OK but the aircon remote control didn't work. One warning is about the slippiness of the floor when wet, it's lethal, someone will break a leg!|The breakfast was below par but rice was nice.

Location is perfect. Room size very ok. It was spacious. View from room was great. The hotel has a rooftop where you can see Mt Samat. Most staff were polite. Breakfast was fine. Hot water in the bathroom was good. What I didn't like, Smart TV always stopped. Room was clean, but not sparkling clean. Bed was clean but not soft. Fridge door could not be closed, but they replaced it.

This hotel is situated in the heart of the City of Balanga. The location is so convenient for restaurants and exploring the city. The hotel is a typical hotel if you are just looking to stay. It is clean however, the internet is very slow. Thank God, Smart signal is strong, I had to use my cellular data through the duration of my stay.

Easy check in friendly staff, smoking area is situated on the 3rd floor balcony. Breakfast is fried egg with rice along with fresh fruit and bottle of mineral water. Lots of takeaway places outside for food. WIFI IS available in the rooms although site says only public areas. Youtube and Netflix is on the TV but couldn't access the cable TV. Clean room and fresh linen. Fridge is available along with towels, body wash and shampoo. Toothbrushes and tooth paste aren't available.

The room is clean and Good. The food is fair and neat. Nice customer service. But i gave it 3 stars because one guy from the evening shift is very rude. Did not even greeted us. We only ask for the plug-in power card politely because we left it from the previous shift. Old dude from the night shift. I dunno who you are but please be polite with your customers.

Mentioned in other reviews parking horrible share with restaurant full of motorcycle decor inside lobby and room quite nice, location on busy street. Breakfast good just wish offered some kind of juice and fresh brewed coffee versus instant. Bed a little too firm for me, sheets on bed had more holes in than swiss cheese. The person who made up room put napkins under holes to hide. When removed sheets napkins everywhere. Watered down body wash in shower no face cloth offered as well, luckily brought my own. Bathroom door stuck had two people kicking on door otherwise so could get out. Need some maintenance to plane door so closes swollen from humidity. This shows me nobody quality checks rooms before renting for the night. AC unit dirty and unserviced little soap and water would go a long way for cleaner presentation. Front desk lady last night has personality of a sign post maybe not her career. Upon entering no acknowledgement of welcome, good evening nothing you need to speak first. Internet not great had to log in many times as continuously lost.

Breakfast is good, hot water is always available. I like the location because my wife and I loves to eat and there's a lot of places to dine in that's within reasonable walking distance but will only stay here if there's another discounted room prices or if I have no choice at all. We didn't get the room and the large bed I requested. They gave us 2 single beds knowing that we are a couple. No ID checks to verify reservation, you just have to give your name. It feels like a cheap motel you can walk into at 1 am in the morning after you're done from partying and wasted enough not to care and just wants to rest. Employees really need additional training. I can't recommend this hotel to anyone at all.
