A very nice experience especially during hot days. Super interesting museum with very high quality souvenir shop plus local goods. Also nice toilette and some cold/hot drinks to buy. Super exciting for kids but not too long, also an outdoor path and the cave itself is worth to visit. If you have a scientific sense and/or have curious kids, a must. I do not get it why some people do not like it…

Interesting spot to visit. Small but well curated museum with some interesting exhibits. And of course the cave it's self. This won't take a lot of time to look around fully, but worth going to see. There are even some benches and tables in the garden made up of endemic Maltese plants and the ruins of a Roman villa where you could sit a while and relax or take lunch. Easily accessible by bus from Valletta or by car, with it's own car park and very little traffic once you reach the South of Malta.

An interesting spot on the map of Malta. This naturally formed archaeological cave offers a wealth of interesting information, an audio guide in several languages, and it's also a great way to cool off. I highly recommend it!

Great and worth visit. Everything in the museum is well explained, there is nice video to watch if you don't want to read. Great souvenir shop. Friendly staff. From museum building you walk to cave under pine trees, there are benches and even area with picnic tables. Very peaceful. Cave is significantly colder than outside but you will be fine for few minutes. There are stalagmites and stalactits. In the museum building is also a panel where you can test your knowledge. You can definitely learn a lot here about how ice-age period affected Malta and Europe and more (eg about elephant teeth).

Great experience as long as you follow along with the audio guide. It's a lot more than just a cool cave to visit, but a lot of the information is not on the plaques, but rather in the guide. The cave itself was interesting but the part that is available to visitors is fairly short. There were stilts further in the cave, so it's probably for the best.

A must-see! The audio guide is a perfect base for presentation, and you can learn a lot from it. The place itself is big, besides the cave you have a beautiful park and a museum that hosts quite a few discoveries made in the area. However, the main attraction, the cave, is something to behold! Just come take in all the details and become immersed. Don't expect something grand because the wonderfulness is found in the tiny little elements scattered around!

Would be helpful if those who leave a review here and explain in more detail. Wasting time here finish in 15 mins. The problem is we travelling all the way by bus trip to here more than hour an a half. Plus pay €13 for 2 people entrance for nothing obviously.

I enjoyed the visit and there's a lot of interesting information in the small museum. It was not crowded and well worth the drive. I didn't know Malta once had small elephants, bears, and deer a long time ago.
