There are so many beers to choose from!!!!!! They have a very generous tasting flight as well. The indoor tasting room is set up well for small groups of people, but they also have tons of outdoor seating for large parties. Tons of parking available. A really pleasant brewery experience. It popular, so the line can be long. They have fantastic barley wines and Barrel Aged beers as well. The Belgian is top notch. You can also see their whole brewing and canning facilities when you visit!

We love this brewery. We don’t live here, but visiting my brother in the area quite often and the second we walked in this place I knew we should come here before the other breweries in the area. One of the things that caught my eye was the informational sheets for each beer, never seen that before and I love that it. Plus they have a section of merch that’s super cheap, you should get the more expensive stuff to support them, but that was a nice addition because no one does that. When you go to the bathroom you actually get to a good view of the actual brewery. Above all of that, their beers are super tasty. We can’t wait to come back.

This is an after work staple. We are always greeted like family and the offering of the month and the variety of flavors will definitely keep you coming back for either your favorite or to try something new. The staff is so kind and willing to help you explore new flavors and if you don't like it within the first two sips you can exchange it for something else I don't know who else stands behind their products like that but it's definitely an amazing way to do business and ensure you're customers are getting EXACTLY what they what not what the server thinks is good. I recommend coming for a visit if you like a wonderful craft beer selection. If you get a chance to explore new flavors I'd definitely give them a try. They have a food truck on Friday Saturday and Sunday I believe and my friend said the food is good. Thank goodness your on my way home from work so it's a little more convenient. Thank you everyone there. Especially John!

Google
Beertender Extraordinaire, John, runs the coolest brewery in town. His over the top amazing service is always greatly appreciated and one of the reasons why so many are regulars. The other most important reason is Garage beers (especially their IPAs) are all incredibly tasty. I go to a lot of breweries and I find myself loving Garage Brewing beers above all else. Their new Pistachio Hazy IPA is my new favorite. Subtle flavor that doesn't overwhelm but still tastes like a good hoppy IPA. Love it!

Google
This brewery is pretty bitchin'! They have a massive tap list. They have the traditional staple beers but many brews here are pretty adjunct heavy and experimental so if you're looking for ten different variations on the same West Coast IPA, you might want to just stay home and suck on a pine cone.

Google
Went here for lunch and to try out their brews and had the Mango Hefeweizen along with their all meat pizza and I will definitely come back because I really liked the style of both their beer and thin crust pizzas. You can pretty much have your pizza made anyway you like and being able to have a real brewery beer here to go along with it is my kind of place. Their service both at the pizza counter and the separate bar was totally great as well as having the large room and a few TVs to relax and eat throughout inside. I will definitely return here soon.

Google
Great place for a family to hangout. It's my 4th time to visit this place and it seems like more people are here for their pizza than their beer. Bar has limited seating. So if you're here for craft beer, you'll probably have to wait for seating. Must try their 2014 Gold Medal Winner at LA International Beer Festival, Mango Hefeweizen 5.5 ABV, 16 IBU, it's delicious!

Google
My son bought a six pack of salted Carmel and 2 praline stout and when he got home he found out none of them were sealed right and will all go flat. He paid 100.00 dollars for those and a six pack of marshmallow stout. When trying to call them no one answers phone. Bought on Saturday 5/10

Yelp
Some of the best beer I've had in my life hands down. UBE IPA, Mango Hef and the XXOLO lager are everything you would want in each category. Service was okay. Came in very excited to buy lots of beer for family in town to-go and Beertender was not very inviting or making our experience fun. No recommendations but only a rushed feeling. They don't offer tasters before purchasing which is some what understandable, but we were buying over a case of beer so really wanted to try at least one before committing. Other than that I can't complain. Hope they can grow and grow into bigger space

Yelp
We couldn't believe the level of disrespect we encountered here. We've been trying for years to come down and check out this place. We've had a handful of their beers at yard house and other restaurants. We somewhat spontaneously made a trip down to Temecula to hit some of the breweries we hadn't been to yet. I called 5 places 24 hours prior to ensure they were dog friendly, had an N.A. option and if they had food. Garage never answered the phone, we assumed they were busy, but in some of their reviews dogs were mentioned but no food. We didn't think it would be a big deal, we had just decided to get food down the road at another brewery. We pull up and I'm not even a quarter of the way through the door and the guy behind the bar screams at me to get out & that they're not dog friendly. My husband and I looked so confused. I explained to him that I called numerous times (9 to be exact) and he said "how would you call. We don't even have a phone" I showed him the phone number that came up on google and he said that was his home office and that the number was useless. After he said that, he proceeded to tell my husband and I to leave. We were shook. Not the way to handle it. I don't care how many interesting beers they seem to have; we won't be back.

Yelp
Really great beers! So many to choose from. They have a smaller pour option (5oz) which is nice if you just want to sample a few different ones. The ambience is chill and the bartender was very friendly. Highly recommend the bananas foster hef and the mango hef.

Yelp
So, here we are at the 5th stop of a brewery tour I put together for my girlfriend, and we've become experts at this point. Try a couple samples, find a beer you like, and order it. Then you enjoy wonderful beer. Here at Garage? Not so much. The owner in his/her infinite wisdom, has decided to not offer tasters. Coupled with their decision of keeping a chain on the ADA wheelchair emergency exit in the patio, it seems like poor decisions are part of the repertoire. This is the most complicated beer tasting experience I've ever found. If you're reading this, I'd pay you good money to unfind it. They limit what you can order, they're out of beers that are on the menu, and again--they don't offer splashes of their beer before you order it. A flight we ordered was horrible. We chose the beers, so that's on us, maybe. Be careful, because the flight of 8 beers that has 5 ounce pours, can't have too many beers that has anything higher than 8%. But I can't taste their beers without ordering it, so I'm stuck. Save your money. Save your patience. Go anywhere else. And if nothing you want is open, call me. I'll happily crack 5 beer cans open for you so you can try them--and I'm not even a damned brewery. Update: the owner called the beer tender while we were there, and the guy asked if I wrote a review, tossed the trays we ordered, and told us we weren't welcome. All because the owner couldn't handle a bad, but accurate review. 8 people who now want to write a review? Good job. My friend took video, and I've got a pic of the locked up ADA gate, which the owner now says is not an ADA gate. Fine. You locked up an Emergency Exit gate. Because that's better, somehow?

Yelp
If you want great local beer with refreshing flavors it's a must come!!! I miss the pizza place a ton !!!

Yelp
I visited this brewery with a group of friends on a brewery crawl to celebrate a birthday. This stop was awful! Limited menu items, ridiculous tasting policies, terrible customer service, and the beer was just not good. Our visit ended with the bartender aggressively deciding to throw out our 2 trays of beers while we were still seated and sipping in front of several other customers! The most embarrassing part for them was that this behavior was in response to a Yelp review posted by the host of our crawl, who had simply shared some customer feedback with him. Not worth the beer, cost, or time. There are plenty of other breweries to visit in this town!
google avatar

Yelp
John is amazing! He always has a great attitude. He is the reason we visit as often as we do. There are so many choices of beers to choose from.

Yelp
The wife and I were excited to revisit Garage Brewing Co but had our hopes and excitement brutally crushed. The one employee here greeted me with a stern "no outisde drinks in here, can't have that here" immediately upon entering. When I explained to him that it was just water he said "doesn't matter, we have water here". After putting my water bottle in my car, I entered the building again, only to hear him cop and attitude with a condescending remark to another patron, who was asking questions about their beer, styles and tastings. I still persisted to browse through the menu with the hopes of having a flight split between my wife and I. The time was 5:40 PM and after he held me to the bar to place my order, he told me that I could not order a flight because they were closing at 6:30. When I asked if I was still able to order a flight because I was going to split it with my wife with just under an hour left, he refused to sell me the flight. That was pretty much the final straw. Be better garage Brewing Company. Be better.

Yelp
My wife and I stop in here every now-and-then to see what new beers they have on tap, and every time we do we have a great time. John is very attentive and always happy to pour us a fresh clean glass of beer. If we don't like it, he'll gladly pour us something different (which doesn't usually happen). This place has a good atmosphere and John is a large reason why we continue to go there. He is an asset to Garage Brewery. Garage has quality beer and I highly recommend this place to anyone! The Banana heff is my wifes favorite. I like the Big Rig and the Inline IPA. Matter of fact... I'm headed over there now :)
google avatar

Marti L.

Yelp
Sadly, no food and not family friendly. Minors are only allowed outside in the patio. Luckily they have heat lamps and fire pit tables. They have a huge selection of hefs and offered a sample of their beer of the week (blood orange hef) which we enjoyed. We stayed for one drink but got a few bottles to go.

Ken B.

Yelp
Home of Marshmallow Milk Stout, the very best beer I've ever had! This is my Graceland!

Yelp
We had been wanting to try Garage Brewing and finally got around to stopping in. There is both indoor & outdoor seating however, indoors is not very big. Beers were tasty and when placing your first beer order you're given a sample of their highlighted beer which was a nice surprise. I have to say their beers are very good. Unfortunately, their customer service is what will make you decide if it's worth going back. This place has one person running the show. He's very forward and will put you on blast if you take in your own water or food. You're only able to eat outside and no water bottles are allowed inside. He announces when he's stepping out for a smoke so no ordering is allowed then. He will announce last call and if you blink you've passed the opportunity to place that last order. Despite their beers being good, we don't think we'd go back. His rudeness is not worth it.

Yelp
Really enjoyed the French Toast Hef. The new location is okay, I preferred the old location with pizza. No kids allowed except on patio, which is fine but definitely not family friendly such as other breweries. Patio wasn't set up because of the weather, it's been 60's all month. It was empty when we went, quiet. Wasn't bad, wasn't stellar. Beer was great so I'll probably just take to go next time. Downside was the amount of gnats, it was kinda gross. But gnats are attracted to hopps, so I guess it's normal? Not sure.
google avatar

Jarek M.

Yelp
Great beer selection! Not only do they have great beer selection, but also their beer tastes great. The beer they make has nice and clean taste with predominant flavours of each beer kind i.e, wheat orange beer has nice orange aftertaste. This is due to their filtration process that makes big difference comparing to other breweries. I really like how much space there is to hang out. There are many tables inside and outside the brewery. You will not regret seating outside if you come here in winter time as their heathers are super warm. They also have live music and food trucks!! Definitely cool spot for a good beer. We will be back!!
google avatar

Nicholas G.

Yelp
Finally a craft brewery in the San Diego area bringing back Hefeweizens. When I turned 21, Hefs were the thing to drink. Then some jerk brewery made commercials about how uncool it is to put fruit in your beer... over night it seemed like everyone was drinking IPAs and growing man-buns (still very weird how connected the two are). The brews are delicious! One day I'll get up to the brewery, but for now I find them at my local convenience store. I tried the orange, and I tried the pineapple... orange is my favorite.

Zaida G.

Yelp
Great beer and amazing customer service John is great ! We are there almost weekly Great selection of beers ! Nice spot to watch a game or just relax Everyone we've recommended goes back !!

R. M.

Yelp
This is a very nice brewery and I had enjoyed my first time going there with my girlfriend who had actually been there before. I enjoyed Ruby's Red Ale along with trying some tastes of their other great beers. I even bought a couple larger bottles to take home and enjoy.
google avatar

Javier A.

Yelp
First time here and it was pretty empty because of the rain. But it didn't stop us from having a good time and meeting new people. John was awesome and friendly gave us a taste of the cherry chocolate stout and remembering the good old times in the 70's, 80's and 90's.
google avatar

Vanessa E.

Yelp
Customer service is just awful. Beer is ok to take home. There is a large patio area but only have a total of 3 seating areas with cushions (that were all full), when we asked if there was cushions for the other area of more than half dozen seats we were told NO! 3 families left due to rudeness by JOHN very unfriendly. How does such a well known brewery have horrible customer service and no care for the customers. Not family friendly at all!

George G.

Yelp
Garage Brewing has become a very favorite place of mine. John Gill who is the manager there has always treated me with respect lets me know what the latest and newest beers are and always a great time here . And the beer was really really good . I recommend this place to anyone who wants to go relax have a great craft brew beer and relax . Great selection of beer to go and will even can it for you right there .
google avatar

Andrea B.

Yelp
Great beer great service ! Will be back - patio and indoor seating available - bring your own snacks !

Shaun J.

Yelp
My wife and I were in the brewery when the "person" on the brewery crawl below was here. He was drunk and mad that the bartender wouldn't give him any splashes. The bartender offered sips of a 5oz and wouldn't charge if the person didn't like it, but garage doesn't do splashes. He was a JA and when I go back I am glad, based on his review, and behavior, that he won't be back. :) Very good beer by the way, but drunk people that are irritated and irritating don't leave legitimate reviews, they just leave their feelings. My guess is they are d*******s.

Linda J.

Yelp
I love Garage Brewery, not only for the amazing 48 beer choices. but also for the family feel of this brewery. John is amazing: he greets customers by name, which is so rare now days that someone will take the time to memorize his customers' names, and does a wonderful job to wait on me promptly and to suggest beer choices. I absolutely love this establishment and look forward to joining my fellow beer lovers, at least once a week! Go check it out!
google avatar

Shelby C.

Yelp
Hubby and I come here weekly to grab a beer. It's always a joy to see the bartender John. He's incredibly nice, and down to Earth. Place is always clean, chill/ low key environment and we are welcomed right when we walk in. They have great weekly deals on beer, which is nice with prices going up everywhere! The only downside is they don't offer food. The old location had amazing pizza and a family vibe. This new one is directed towards mainly adults. Come with a full belly and enjoy the beer. We never leave disappointed and have never had a bad beer there ! P.S after reading reviews here that complain over kids not being allowed there and literally giving the business a bad review over it. There's plenty of other breweries that allow kids- GO THERE THEN.

Alex P.

Yelp
The Temecula location has been closed for far too long. I was looking forward to this location opening but I'm a little disappointed. They have nearly 30 taps but nothing good enough to keep me coming back. At the Temecula location I remember them being really cool about getting multiple splashes until you found something you like. At the Murrieta location when asking for two slashes to decide between two new beers that I haven't had before they gave me the stank eye and hesitantly allowed only one slash. I didn't even bother and just winged it and picked one for a full pour. The old location had some character, this location has lost its soul, some of that could be regained if they had competent bartenders, the ones they have now seem really green to the industry and not your typical friendly and talkative bartender. I felt like I was at McDonald's. There's plenty of other breweries in the area, basically walking distance from here with better beer, character and atmosphere. It's probably going to bea while before I consider going back. No pizza or wings is a bumber as well. I suppose if you've never been to the Temecula location this spot might be okay but in comparison there's no comparison.
google avatar

Andrea S.

Yelp
Parking was easy, staff was friendly, quick service! We received a free taster of their special, Rice Lager, which was delicious. We ordered four tasters, one of each of their IPAs. Our favorite was Leave 'Em in the Dust Double IPA, with Racing Fuel Hazy IPA a close second. We took home 22 oz bottles of Leave 'Em in the Dust!
google avatar

Tara T.

Yelp
Bad vibes. Owner is unfriendly, unwelcoming, and inconsistent. Tried to go once with my newborn and was told we had to go on the patio, which is fine but it was night - too cold. We left, and decided to try again another time during the day. When we returned a few weeks later, the owner literally put his hand up and said "We don't allow kids!" the second we opened the door, before we even stepped foot inside. We said we planned to sit on the patio and he said no "because of the rain." However, the sun was shining and there wasn't a cloud in the sky. We won't be back. Far too many other, kinder & more welcoming breweries in the area to waste our time here again.
google avatar

Cynthia D.

Yelp
Came in to try some more of their beers since we had tried them in cans before. Sierra greeted us and gave us a run through of how many beers they had on tap and recommended a few beers. Jimmy poured our beers. Both of them were super nice and personable through the duration of our visit. We took home a 6 pack of the marshmallow milk stout and the churro ale. The French toast Hefeweizen is to die for! They didn't anymore in a 6pack or bottle but I hope they do soon! Great location with indoor and outdoor seating (:

Homan R.

Yelp
Very unfriendly and rude person working. He is a little older with a pony tail I think his name is John This guy is costing this place lots of money We saw about 15 people leave because there is no place to sit. Please explain why you have lots of nice chairs without cushions. Lots of couches in the patio with no cushions. A family next us took some cushions down the patio, the rude man came out and made them bring the cushions back.

Angela S.

Yelp
Great beer, terrible service !! The guy, who looks like a biker, was not cool!! I love the beer, but I will not come back to this location!!

Yelp
** 0 STAR REVIEW ** NOT ANYTHING FRIENDLY As a member of local breweries, I was excited to add another local business to support. I immediately ignored 2 red flags. #1 EMPTY parking lot. #2 A huge NO KIDS sign followed by a bunch of other things that aren't allowed. I brought my 16 year old and 12 year old. Our friend brought his boys ages 10, 8, and 6. We proceeded because their staff at the bar were lovely and told us we can sit outside on their patio with our kids. Beer was just okay, quality not the best compared to breweries located on the same street. Kids started to run and play tag on the sidewalk, which is public property. Well, the owner of the place then comes out to YELL and HARASS us about how his business clearly states NO KIDS because of his 21+ brewery. We respected his wishes and asked the kids to sit down while we finished our beers so we could leave. OWNER DID NOT STOP THERE. He continued to SCOLD at us saying how his 2 customers inside were complaining about the kids. HOW?! They were on a public sidewalk/parking lot, not even on his patio?? Then proceeded to SCOLD our kids telling them to sit down and stay still?? I was raised to respect my elders but boy. What kind of business is conducted here?? DISCRIMINATION against KIDS and PETS. I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS BUSINESS TO ANYONE. How would you react to a stranger standing right in front of your childen with their finger in their face scolding them about being kids?? He's quite fortunate as a daughter of a law enforcement officer that I chose to show respect to an elderly man and walk away without incident. Such a shame to have this individual representing our city that is extremely family oriented. SKIP THIS PLACE and go support breweries with integrity and welcomes EVERYONE.

Mystery F.

Yelp
Great beer. It's amazing you can offer such a variety considering the size of the brewery. Serve some sort of munchies!!! At least prepackaged something to nibble on--if you don't want to deal with getting a license to prepare food. And, answer the phone! And return calls. You're losing business by not answering the phone. I wanted verify a few things before inviting 8 to 10 people there.

Leonardo R.

Yelp
Great beer the taste is gas and makes me want to come back and drink another one the bartender is great and I will definitely come back
google avatar

Jeremy K.

Yelp
Nice cold afternoon beer. Large selection (34 beers). No wait for service. No food. Clean. Racing Fuel IPA is a favorite and I'd like to take some home please!
google avatar

Kazar B.

Yelp
I was at a local restaurant the first time I try the beer from this brewery I couldn't believe it. It was one of the best beers I ever had. Then I found that they were local, so I had to make a visit. This place is a no gimmicks brewery, just great beers. there's not much tasting allowed, but for a few dollars, you get a 5 ounce and can keep drinking until you find the one you like I definitely recommend the racing fuel.

Cass A.

Yelp
So their beer is solid and the service is friendly and informative (Kaitlyn was super nice) But with this nice weather I wanted to enjoy the patio, but the sheer amount of bugs/spiders there was super gross. Gave me the ick. So 3 stars off for that since well... bugs and beer don't go together imo

Charles C.

Yelp
Great selection of any style you like. Easy drinking Lagers. Flavorful Hefeweizens. Only one Bartender tonight-she took good care of the whole house. Quiet enough to have a conversation with my wife. Cheers!

Justin S.

Yelp
I've always enjoyed the good beer, never been to the brewery. Walking up to the entrance is a giant bold lettered screaming long list of NO THIS, NO THAT, NOT ALLOWED, YOU MUST NOT, NO NO NO NO NO NO. Open the door and another warning sign that kids are not allowed screams right in your face. There are less rules and regulations at my local gun range for Christ's sake. What a depressing buzz kill of a business. NO FUN IS ALLOWED AT THIS BUSINESS. JUST BE QUIET, STAY DEPRESSED AND DRINK YOUR BEER.

Jared S.

Yelp
John was fantastic. The beers tasted good but the hospitality was a lot better. John service was excellent and attentive. He made sure to describe the beers we asked him about. The beer pours were out in a timely manner, as well. Will absolutely be back to enjoy more pours.
google avatar

Jessica L.

Yelp
Great service and delicious beers. So flavorful! And big shout out to Caitlin for the excellent service!
google avatar

derek R.

Yelp
Ruby was very nice, the rules seems odd out in the patio, but my experience was positive and the beer was good. Need some food options though

Trisha N.

Yelp
Their beer is good (we used to go to the old location), but they aren't very welcoming at the new location. We walked in, and right away felt unwelcome. Seemed like there were a few regulars, and they, along with the bartender, didn't want us there. It was really weird. We left without ordering. Very bad vibe. I put two stars for the beer only.

Steven F.

Yelp
Huge variety of beer and great service. I'm glad they re-opened a taproom and now they have live music.
google avatar

Joe M.

Yelp
Now that the weather is getting better I decided to take my pup with me to enjoy a glass of beer. When arrived (my fault for not calling). They don't allow dogs, unlike the rest of the local brewerys. Who encourage animals on a leash, at their new location. Shame...
google avatar

Kelly C.

Yelp
Went to try their new location but initially thought it was closed since there was maybe 1 car and the patio was completely empty. We had one of our dogs with us but realized they're not dog friendly anywhere so immediately left and went to nearby dog friendly brewery. No one allowed under 21 period, even on the patio. No dogs. No kids. I won't be back.
google avatar

Raul V.

Yelp
Starting off they have great beer one of the best in the area, went to the new location and things have changed. They no longer serve food, they won't fill growlers, and you pay as you go can't have an open tab, and can't bring food from outside. That was pretty disappointing, I know COVID changed things but hopefully they can bring this things back.
google avatar

Shawn O.

Yelp
I miss the OLD GARAGE BREWING in Temecula. Loved the Pizza, staff, atmosphere and beer on occasion. Now it's BEER ONLY and no kids . My daughter loved getting a pizza and the staff was always delighted to see her each time. I don't know how a business survives on BEER alone. The staff at the new location doesn't compare to the previous location. Please bring back the pizza, atmosphere, and family too. Miss my pineapple ale.

Robert M.

Yelp
I have frequented this brewery since they had Temecula location. I used to come frequently when they moved to tasting room in Murrieta and had periodic music and food trucks. Those elements appear to have gone away. I came by after an absence for a while. They have over 40 beers on tap. They are mostly variations of the same Hef. I do enjoy their Hatch IPA, which is on infrequently. Most beers are mediocre. Jack of all trades, master of none. Today I encountered worst service ever. The beer-tender was too busy talking guitars with the lone customer at the end of the bar to pay attention that I wanted a beer. Their pour policy does not take into account behavior of customer, time at location or mode of transportation. After I was there for almost 2 hours I requested a 4th beer and was denied. I am 6'6" 280 lbs. I rolled with it and redeemed loyalty points on beer to go. The loyalty is $15. The total was $15.30. He actually had me pay .30 on my card since I didn't have coins on me. Really? They lost a chance to win back a formerly regular customer.

Thaddeus S.

Yelp
My family and I used to love the Temecula location. Took our kids there for the pizza and the service was great, beer was ok. When I met the owner it turned me away. So rude to his staff and customers. Staff said he didn't want it to be a family environment. We stopped going because of him. Now with this new location, I was curious if it was still the same owner and the fact that there's a "NO KIDS" sign, along with a lot of other signs! Well, it's obvious nothing has changed.
