Garam Lisboa has some great points: the staff is friendly and helpful, the property is charming, the bed is super comfortable, the shower works perfectly, and breakfast is tasty. I also loved the 24-hour coffee machine, fresh apples for guests, and the location is pretty good.
On the downside, for $240 USD per night, the room and bathroom felt small. The TV was tiny and mounted too high, the shower curtain smelled, and the hallway carpet looked worn.
Major concern: opened single-serving jelly jars were reused at breakfast, mixed with new ones. This is a serious hygiene issue that the hotel needs to fix immediately.
