An absolute hidden gem in the Cretan countryside! This small taverna is run by just one incredibly kind and welcoming man who creates an unforgettable experience. Everything he serves comes straight from his own farm the meat, vegetables, fruit, and salad are all homegrown, and even the ice cream is homemade! The atmosphere is unbeatable: peaceful, authentic, and full of life with baby goats, kittens, and cats wandering freely around the property. The food is fresh, delicious, and full of flavor you can taste the care and tradition in every bite. To top it all off, he serves a complimentary dessert at the end, which feels like the perfect gesture of true Cretan hospitality. No crowds, no stress just amazing food, nature, and genuine warmth. A must-visit if you’re anywhere nearby!

A wonderful restaurant with an incredibly beautiful atmosphere. The owners are very friendly and take the time to talk to their guests, which makes the experience even more personal. The food was outstanding – I honestly can’t understand some of the negative reviews out there. Highly recommended! Yes, they don’t have Menu, but that’s what makes this Place Special

The food is great, the best lamb we had in Greece but the best part is the place itself. Giorgio is amazing host! The prices are really lower than we expected - lamb, Mediterranean salad, fried cheese and beer was 44eur

This is a unique experience in so, so many lovely ways. The food was incredible fresh, local and sustainable. The owner, whose name I forget, is the owner and farmer. He tells the most amazing stories and brings the story to the food. Service. Look, you’re there for the ride, not silver service. It’s an amazing g symphony of raised voices, repeated orders and rolled (but friendly) eyes. It works and they all work so well together. The second you walk in, you’re one of them. Don’t come with an agenda, or in a rush, and you’ll have a ball. The atmosphere. Look at the pictures and they tell a thousand words. I will however add a picture of Markus the horse to the mix for good measure. Give him a pat from me ;)

Best Greek food! This Place is in the middle of nowhere But the food is top notch greek cuisine level. The food tasted amazing! Every dish they came out with, was full of flavors. Their red wine was the best! I highly recommend this place if your’e in the area.

The garden and vibe is perfect and enjoyable. However, to be honest, I was really disappointed by the food. The grilled pork rib with dry fruits is over salty, both for the meat part and the fruit part, which I cannot even took one bite (while drink tons of water). The 49 ingredients salat looks beautiful, but I find the price-quality ratio is very low (16/18€ depends on persons). The salat is made mostly with lettuce actually and with only very few extra ingredients on the top to cover. The taste of salat is also very normal in my personal view, with too much vinegar. The chaco lava cake offered after meal is good though. The service is over slow compared to many other restaurants in the local area. Not sure if it is because of understaff or something. We have been waiting for someone to help us to clean the table for over half hour after we finished the meal, while the owner was chatting with other guests all the time. And be careful here is Cash Only.

The food was.... to put it politely, reheated. No menu. The setting was beautiful but the tables and chairs falling apart. . The owner was exhausting. ONLY CASH. The “POS not working” trick is old news. I should have checked if the receipt was legit The toilets were dirty. The so-called 49-ingredient salad and the “seven dwarfs” story — pure fiction. The sausages were terrible. The goat was smelly. Yet the prices were as if we were dining at Buckingham Palace. €90, and we left everything… even though the wine was complimentary. A couple with two young kids. A complete disappointment. We left hungry.

A very unique dining experience. The setting is beautiful garden surrounded by the owner's farm and his animals. The food is original and at the same time traditional, made with attention to quality and genuineness. The owner spent a great deal of time talking to us about his farm, family and restaurant which made us feel even more welcome.
