Garden Court Marine Parade

Checked in Sunday afternoon, it’s Wednesday Afternoon and the air con still doesn’t work. I would say that the room is too pricey for the one thing not to be operational for this long. Please consider this before booking, turn around time may be days late… If ever you get stuck in the elevator because you can’t use the card to access the numbers on the keypad. Take a deep breath, either wait for the lift to move, or manual open the sliding doors, they should open. Then use the stairs, (don’t go back to your room as the cards are deactivated), go to the front desk and tell them that your cards don’t work. They will help you with a smile. Then enjoy the rest of your day. It’s Thursday and the aircon still doesn’t work. Please also note that there is a low frequency humming sound, not sure where it comes from, a bit noisy and it doesn’t seem to go away.

Nice place,close to all necessities with great views however the facilities need a serious upgrade, the Aircon doesn't work,TV only has Sabc and like 2 mnet channels, the room I was in was not cleaned properly, the water stopper in the tub was broken. The place is ok but these are basic things they should get right especially for the price they charge

My overall experience was great, i was with my family. The service from employees professional, the rooms are a bit small bt the sea view was so nice to wake up to. The breakfast buffet i really enjoyed and also near to activities . I enjoyed my stay

Let me express my sincere gratitude to the Garden Court Marine Parade stuff. This time around, I was really treated like royalty. I spoke to Nolu when I was doing our reservations, she was so helpful and very friendly. Then on our arrival, from the security, the butler and the reception team were so super friendly and welcoming. I was given my favorite room 2506 which was a cherry 🍒 on top. Guys keep up the good work.

We made a last minute decision to book this hotel for 7 nights. The rooms were smaller than expected but liveable for 4 of us.|The breakfast did not have much variety and was the same option (including fruit) every day.|The housekeeping was good but arrived to two bath towels and no additional toilet roll.|Staff very friendly and security was excellent. |In hindsight, I wouldn't have stayed 7 nights but we were stuck with flights. |It was their Winter special so you definitely got what you paid for. I would stay again but not for that long of a period. The location was good fir us as a family of surfers.

I enjoyed my stay here from Friday last week to Monday this week, food was good, staff were nice, views were good, rooms were OK.||Slight issues: limited TV channels to choose from, issues with room card not always working and the small shop in the hotel is ludicrous with their prices, e.g. they charge R32 for a bar of chocolate and R28 for a bottle of Coke! Eish.||The area is patrolled by SAPS regularly and the beach front is quite clean. Do not venture into the area in the street behind the hotel where the China Mall is however as it is grimy beyond belief.||A reccomnded stay from my side.

We were a group of 55 people for our Yearly Reunion booked from 23 October-28 October 2024 sometimes it's difficult to control that number of people, because of the noise but what I saw with the staff from Garden court marine parade- professionalism, Patience at its best 👌 I would like to thank Noluthando who even went as far and arranged Academy Room for our photoshoot and also reserved a special place- in the deck - for our Gala Dinner The rooms were clean, the fresh Breakfast 🙌 On behalf of our group- Thank you so much- The management, staff and Noluthando🙏

Very well maintained establishment. Amazing views of the sea and city. Very friendly staff.
