Absolutely amazing staff! That’s what I must highlight above all. They are so well trained, kind, helpful, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable. The manager especially was so attentive and willing to assist that I really can’t compare it to anywhere else. The workers here deserve an all inclusive vacation or something, at the very least. Seriously, amazing. Our stay was wonderful. The property itself was exactly as pictured and what I expected. Within a short walking distance to downtown, very clean, modern. The bathroom was especially lovely. I also liked the sheer size of the hotel room- much larger than others! With the thin walls aside (because the hotel cannot be judged on this because every building in NZ is built from cardboard), our stay was truly incredible! Highly recommend!!

We stayed here for 2 nights as part of a month long tour of NZ. Our first impressions of this motel were dismay - it was right by a large set of road works and the accommodation blocks looked very uninspiring to say the least. It also looked to be a pain for parking - there was a fairly narrow access driveway in, and then spaces were numbered by room, and we had to put our car in a numbered space just to check in at reception. We were then directed to our room which was in the furthest block down the hill, for which the allocated park was underneath and had another access driveway. This was fine, although it would have been tight to manoeuvre in if another car had been in the bay next to us (thankfully not). |The room itself was far nicer than we anticipated - it had a very nice view out over the lake, with the Remarkables mountain range to the left, and a balcony to enjoy this from too, with a small table and chairs on.|There was a very spacious open plan lounge and kitchen, with large dining table as well as sofa and coffee table. Then there was a separate bathroom and also a washing machine and dryer in the passageway to that. The bedroom was rather dark, being at the "non view" side of the block, but fine. The kitchen was very modern. I note comments about the lounge wooden furniture being old - yes it is, and perhaps not my taste, but its good quality so nothing to complain about.|Queenstown is hilly so it was a steep walk down into the town and a hard climb back up, but good for us especially after dinner! |On that score, we highly recommend Boardwalk by the waterfront for a nice meal, and Perky's floating cocktail bar is lovely too on a warm evening which we were lucky enough to enjoy! Also enjoyed the Minus5 Ice Bar on our second night for a bit of fun!

The view from our 1 bedroom apartment was nothing short of spectacular! The apartment itself was roomy and well appointed. Short stroll into town, with a bit of a hill in the way back for that cardio workout. There is a bus stop right outside the door if you don’t want to walk.

We stayed 3 nights on our tour of the South island. Our room was located at the lower end of the complex, with parking below. This made luggage transfer awkward and our balcony had a view of the neighbours trees only. However, the room was well appointed and included a washing machine and tumble dryer. It's a 10 minute walk down to the waterfront and restaurants.

Had a balcony room with a mountain and lake view. Very quiet, very clean, wonderfully equipped and super position. Quick walk into the city but a pretty steep hill on the return so make sure you’ve a beer ready in the fridge. Good parking and on the right side of town for the airport.

Firstly it's important to say that the accommodation was perfectly clean and functional and one of the cheapest we could find for our budget.|However, other than the bathroom the rest of the room was frozen in time from around the mid 1990's!|I have never seen a 6 foot corner unit in a room just to house a hi-fi from 1996! Wow.|All the furniture is from the same era and not particularly comfortable. We were only here 2 nights so not so much of an issue but if staying longer would have hoped for a bit more comfort.|Bathroom has been updated and is great. Bedroom still in the same 90's time warp but perfectly comfortable bed.|Do I think we had value for money? No but based on other room rates in Queenstown then probably ...yes.|Good location and reception staff very helpful. All functional but just a little tired.

At Garden Court Suites in Queenstown, New Zealand, I discovered a haven that transcended mere accommodation. The staff, with their genuine Kiwi warmth, transformed my stay into a seamless experience. As I opened the door to my suite, I was met with a panorama of Queenstown's stunning landscapes – a view that could rival any cinematic masterpiece. The room itself was a treasure trove of comfort, equipped with every amenity a weary traveler could desire. From the snug embrace of the bed to the fully loaded kitchen, it was a sanctuary of coziness. Amidst the breathtaking scenery and impeccable service, Garden Court Suites proved that true hospitality is an art, and they mastered it effortlessly. It's not just a place to rest; it's an immersion into the soul-stirring beauty of Queenstown, all while wrapped in the comforting embrace of a home away from home.

Cant complaint about the location which is really close to city centre and that it offers free parking. Cleaniness need improvement tho. Overall we had a good stay.
