Garden Hotel

A very nice hotel, in a very good location. The staff were all very nice and accommodating. My only complaint was the temp in the room was way too high, we felt as if we were in a sauna but the thermostat in the room didn't seem functional - the rest of the building was also incredibly hot. We opened the windows (in january) but it only seemed to make the heat ramp up. So very pleasant stay, but if you are from a northern country you will probably find the heating too high.

Nice hotel situated in center, wakable distance to all main attractions. Great thing parking places. Reception desk very helpfull and hospitable. Tram station just in a front of hotel, main train station on couple of hundreds meter, wakable and just beside botanical garden. Great pleace to start your journey in Zagreb.

The best part about this place is the staff, they are very polite and kind. Location is perfect for exploring the city centre. Rooms are clean, modern and very comfortable. The foods served at breakfast are very tasty.

I had an excellent experience at Garden Hotel Zagreb earlier this year. The staff was welcoming and attentive, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The location is convenient, close to the main train station and there is tram stop near the entrance.

Hotel is close to downtown and central train station. Receptionists are kind and they do not hesitate to help you. In the kitchen workers there are doing nothing to makes your start of the day good. Hotel is in very noisy street and walls between rooms are thin and withuot sound insulation. Hotel is max 3 stars. Parking is small but it is o.k.

Kindly staff, 24/7 reception, great location. The breakfast is okay. The atmosphere is best in the lobby - very cosy.

140€ for 2 people for 1 night with breakfast, because they only had a room for 2 people (supposedly with 1 double and 1 single bed). A normal price for a 4 star hotel, we thought. BUT... I have no idea how in Earth has this hotel gotten 4 stars. The room was one of the smallest rooms I've ever stayed in (and I normally stay in histels and 3-star hotels). And, the worst part was that there was NO DOUBLE BED. What they claimed to be a double bed was really 2 single beds pushed one next to the other. Very uncomfortable for two people to sleep in scooped up. In a nutshell, a nice service for a low-quality 3-star hotel; a TOTAL RIPOFF for a 4-star, condidering the room quality.

Was a good stay, breakfast was just about enough , staff friendly although u have to tell them good morning first, pity booking agency rate was cheaper then direct… location is a bit far from the centre so missed out from the liveliness
