Garden Lane Backpackers

We booked a private room and it was honestly lovely. The kitchen felt a little chaotic and the breakfast was very very minimal but generally we felt the hostel was clean and organized. Service was very good and helpful. Especially Ainara. She was super sweet and accommodating.

We had a lovely stay at this hostel! Very clean rooms, comfy beds , lots of facilities/ social spaces. The free breakfast was a bonus! Couldn't ask for much more for this price! Not in the centre of Dublin but close enough to walk into town. Will definitely return!

great location, clean rooms and great amenities. really appreciated the assistance in transporting from the airport. excellent value for our short stay in Dublin, walkable to lots of places to see!

Garden Lane Backpackers Hostel is clean and well-equipped, with efficient staff and working amenities such as WiFi. It is very close to a lot of great pubs and other sites. The breakfast options were very satisfactory as well, although the coffee is only instant.

Excellent.Nice atmosphere in a safe hostel with good size clean rooms and plenty of showers and bathrooms. Good breakfast with fruits, cereals, etc and free coffee and tea during the day. The staff were very helpful

The hostel was a little challenging to find at first. It doesn't stand out, but once you're at the door, it's clear you're at the right place. Staff were very friendly. Everything was clean and quiet. The bed and room was comfortable.

We have stayed in many hostels in Dublin over the years - we are fond of all of them for different reasons. However, Garden Lane Backpackers checks off all our requirements for a hostel - bright, airy rooms and space within the building. Location that feels like you are out of the busy centre, but only a few blocks from Christchurch Cathedral, Dame Street and all its restaurants, Temple Bar, etc. The location is perfect. Staff are fantastic and friendly, and Garden Lane has the best kitchen and common space of any of the hostels we have stayed at over the years. The kitchen and common room are on the top floor/rooftop with a small veranda off the kitchen. From here is a direct view over to the Guinness Storehouse as well as looking out over the rooftops of South Dublin. We highly recommend Garden Lane Backpackers for value, cleanliness, location and atmosphere. This will be the hostel we return to again.

Good place, good beds that gives you a lot of privacy. Very nice showers and bathrooms too. Easy to take the bus back and forth since it’s close but you did have to walk down a creepy alley.
