Best things about this hostel: 1) it’s clean, 2) the mattresses are the thickest/comfiest I’ve encountered in a hostel, and 3) it has a solid kitchen/common area. However, the location is less than ideal—secluded cul de sac that’s accessed by dark side streets and alleys, which is particularly unsettling if you’re new to the area. As for the bathrooms, there are only two toilet+shower rooms per floor, each of which houses up to 12+ people? So if you’re in a 4-person dorm thinking you have an en suite bathroom for you and your mates, guess again; if the floor is full, the two toilets will be very busy.
Also, there is a parking garage adjacent to the hostel; it has a VERY loud metal gate that will be utilized throughout the day and night, and you will 100% hear it clanging in your room.
As a solo female traveler, I can’t say I’d recommend this place, though the rooms themselves are just fine.
