I went around 4 pm on a weekday so it was not crowded at all. It is very compact but so much less busy and touristy than other gardens in Suzhou like the Humble Administrator's Garden. The buildings on site are much deeper than they appear and are kind of like a maze. This garden is also one part of the "Classical Gardens of Suzhou" UNESCO World Heritage Site.

This was silly, I walked all the way but couldn’t understand opening hours and the alley is very narrow, wasn’t even lit up. I was by myself so got nervous to hang there for long and left. lol

Around 10rmb entry Also know as the Yipu 艺圃 Garden its a old residential building which underwent transformatiuons throughout the years. Good Garden Layout not too Big, i find that the architecture on the building details outway the garden itself. One to visit if your in Suzhou

Great hidden away garden with entrance fee, was very crowded when we went on a Saturday but worth the visit to see some of the history they have left intact

Nice place to relax. Much fewer people than other famous gardens in Suzhou. Not big but still beautiful.

Nice garden in the city. We spent about an hour looking at the garden and the old estate. Nice if you are in Chinese gardens.
