The Garden of Dreams is a simple but pretty garden and a nice place to take a break from the busy streets of Kathmandu. It’s quite small, but it offers a calm and pleasant atmosphere once you’re inside.
There is a coffee and tea spot as well as a restaurant, and plenty of benches throughout the garden. If you want to sit down, read a book, or just rest for a while, it’s easy to find a quiet place to do so.
Nothing here is particularly breathtaking, but that’s not really the point. It’s more about enjoying a bit of peace and quiet in a nice setting, which it does well.
At the time of my visit, the entrance fee was NPR 400 for foreigners, and the garden was open daily from around 9:00 am to 9:00 pm. Overall, it’s a pleasant spot to slow down for a moment while exploring Kathmandu.
