Definitely worth to visit, especially with loved ones. Its definitely a good spot for a date. I would maybe suggest to visit during the evening, as there were not so many people as during the day, and the atmosphere feels serene In summary Garden of Dreams is a lovely place to enjoy symmetry and poetry in the mids of chaos outside of it's walls hehe

The Garden of Dreams is a simple but pretty garden and a nice place to take a break from the busy streets of Kathmandu. It’s quite small, but it offers a calm and pleasant atmosphere once you’re inside. There is a coffee and tea spot as well as a restaurant, and plenty of benches throughout the garden. If you want to sit down, read a book, or just rest for a while, it’s easy to find a quiet place to do so. Nothing here is particularly breathtaking, but that’s not really the point. It’s more about enjoying a bit of peace and quiet in a nice setting, which it does well. At the time of my visit, the entrance fee was NPR 400 for foreigners, and the garden was open daily from around 9:00 am to 9:00 pm. Overall, it’s a pleasant spot to slow down for a moment while exploring Kathmandu.

Come check out garden of dreams for a quiet place away from all the hustle and bustle in Thamel. It is a fair price around 3 US dollars. If you want to be in a quiet place but still live in town, here it is. The gardens are quite lovely and well maintained for this city. I found that the staff were friendly. It is a good place to decompress and get a snack while breathing in fresh air. Check out all of the cute squirrels and the birds while you are sitting and enjoying or coffee. Wonderful statues and flowers all around.

In the middle of crazy Kathmandu traffic there is this beautiful silent garden with beautiful flowers, birds n other little animals n trees. A must see for everybody. Also nice but small terrace to overview the Garden of Dreams 🤩 there is an entrance fee

The Garden of Dreams is an absolute oasis! It's the perfect, tranquil escape from the chaos of Kathmandu, just steps from Thamel. The beautiful neo-classical architecture, serene ponds, and manicured lawns make you feel like you've been transported to a European estate. Well-maintained and peaceful—a must-visit for relaxation, reading, or enjoying a coffee at the Kaiser Café. Highly recommended! ​Tip: Be sure to rent a mat and spend some time just relaxing on the lawn to fully appreciate the peaceful atmosphere!

Pleasant enough small gardens. We were denied entry as we were carrying a doggy bag from a local restaurant where we'd just had lunch. No problem - 3 chicken wings promptly binned. Inside - several groups having picnics with food clearly not bought at the garden cafe. Come on! Pictures from inside the cafe - where we spent some money.

The Garden of Dreams in Kathmandu is quite small, but it’s peaceful and quiet, a nice little escape from the busy city. There’s also a café inside, though the prices are relatively expensive.
