It's a 1 km boarded walk inside the park, rare to spot any animals here and you could cover the whole thing in 15-20 mins mostly. Quite underwhelming if you're a foreigner paying 461 Zar per person, better to visit roberg nature reserve in Plattenburg bay, quite worthwhile over there.

Wasted time in this place thinking that this some exotic animals, birds and plants. It's just a wasted board walk of less than half an hour. Not worth the money we pay in to go, certainly not the time and travel either 😔

Very friendly, a little to much nose from the road, well maintained, great experience.

Beautiful 1km walk. Boardwalks are used as paths throughout the forest so there is no fear of getting lost. Plenty of small areas to sit down and have a picnic. At the entrance lovely staff lady that will help you obtain the permit not only to this forest but also to the other part of Harkerville. Clean toilet facilities and interesting information on the educational boards.

Beautiful pit stop. Was there in winter so all the rain made all the dense colours pop out. You can still hear the cars from the road in forest whilst walking through the boardwalk and there are quite a few trees that have been vandalized with initial carvings etc., However this place is worth seeing.
R40 entrance fee and a curio shop within the forest. The entire walk can be done via wheelchair. And there are toilets towards the end of the walk. There was also a mobile coffee stall outside the entrance.

Nice enough short walk through bush, but absolutely not worth the entrance fee if you are a foreigner. Give this a miss.
