Was planning to purchase from this retailer, specifically a floss I've been looking for. They charge $12.00 for 5-7 day long shipments with an additional 1-2 processing window. That's in total $30 for something I could get on Amazon for $15 less and shipped within 2 days. I do realize smaller retailers have to upcharge to maintain business, but I wonder if they are aware of this significant difference in price so thought I'd post here to let them know.

Beautifully curated and manicured shop that I’ve admired from afar and was so pleased to discover had a storefront when booking a trip to the Catskills. Sadly however we were made to feel unwelcome to shop brick-and-mortar. During a visit into the Windham shop with a list of primarily clothing items and home scent I’d collected for some holiday gift shopping sadly I was underwhelmed by the quality of the knitwear in person. Tried to make a small purchase in store and in the midst of checkout another shopkeeper approached and shared that the item we were halfway through purchasing as well as the balance of its inventory on the sales floor was reserved for an online order meaning none of that inventory on the sales floor was available to us. Was pleased with the assortment of candles and loved all of the ones on my list which I intended to order online with the gracious discount code shared from recently enrolling for emails, sadly I can’t imagine having family open gifts packaged from this shop leaving me in good spirits on Christmas Day after an uncomfortable and unwelcoming experience in store. Another guest was present during our visit and was assisted rather diligently by to my count three different gentleman, I’m glad his experience seemed better than ours. Working in retail and operations myself I hate leaving a bad review but this visit left me feeling a strong reminder to be hyper conscious of how folks are treated when they take the time to stop by and shop your assortment so I think that means it’s worth sharing.

Exquisite tools and garden ware. It was shipped quickly. Really nicely wrapped. So well that I just gave my husband the packaging as is. 😆 We look forward to coming to the store when it’s Spring.

I had previously ordered the wrong size for my Gardebheir clogs. It was such a delight to deal with this company I just love love my garden clogs!! They arrived in two days after the exchange! They have a comfortable insert that supports my arch, which is an issue and I just may wear these every day around my house too! Thank you so much for these wonderful shoes! I just treated myself to these garden clogs, they are perfect! I love that they came from Windham, NY! I grew up in the Catskills and l love to support local businesses. I hope to visit their shop in the future!
