Gardenia Cafe

Craving a good fish and chips in Sanur so did some searching and came up with Gardenia Cafe.... What a find.....great cafe with a good menu. Fish and Chips were amazing and the best we have had in Bali in the past 12 months. Choice of crumbed, battered or grilled....home made chunky Chips and a fresh salad..... Service was excellent and a great location to chill. Will definitely be back soon to try other food on the menu or when a Fish & Chips craving happens.

Aussie comfort food at it’s best! Sometimes, after all that rice and spices my belly just needs a touch of home cooked comfort food and Gardenia Cafe is a great place for just that. I ordered the lemon meringue pie and an Aussie Iced Coffee and what was placed before me was a huge slice with the perfect balance of tart lemon curd and fluffy sweet meringue that could have come from my grandma’s kitchen. The ice coffee was also spot on, full flavoured with a traditional Aussie topping of whipped cream and ice cream. Certainly an indulgent treat, my belly was truly satisfied … well it’s back to the rice and spices tomorrow. Thanks Gardenia Cafe.

We went for a late breakfast as I wanted somewhere cool and peaceful. This place did not disappoint The service from the staff was fast and friendly. The coffee was hot, my juice was cold. The big breakfast was perfect. (I love the way our bacon was cooked. ❤️) The bonus was the lovely array of shopping available (I purchased 2 gorgeous dresses) Out the back the guesthouses look very comfortable They also had amazing selection of fresh baked cakes. A lovely place well worth checking out.

||If have a need to stay in Sanur and do not need a villa here is your place. Great beds, good wifi, cable tv, air con, pool and an included breakfast. The restaraunt here is open for lunch and dinner with tasty homestyle Western and Indonesian meals. |Great location as only a 5 minute walk to the beach and a range of markets are very close not to mention other restaraunts.

Well located on Beachside, Sanur. Inside and outdoor seating. Friendly staff. Basic, but good food. Can also shop while you wait for your food! I didn't stay at the property, only ate at the restaurant.

Want a great place to stay in Sanur. Clean, tidy,quaint, comfortable beds, pool, ac and roomybathrooms. Nothing better. When our friendsvilla at Bayshore is full we always stay here andit includes breakfast. Gardenia on Mertasariis the place in Sanur for an affordable holidayhomestay style. You won't regret it. We never do.

We were staying at the Mecure hotel just around the corner from this quaint little place, but ate here regularly. The atmosphere was very relaxed, the service was excellent and the food was fantastic. Proper home made chips, pies and deserts. Great for relaxing lunch or afternoon tea.
