This Gorgeous Beach Club Is the Amalfi Coast's Hippest New Address

"Perched on a rocky promontory between Vietri sul Mare and Cetara, this regenerated coastal estate opened in June 2019 and transforms a once-infamous 1970s concrete hotel—the so-called “Eco-Monster” that was demolished in 1999—into a series of terraced gardens, a vineyard and lemon grove, and a private pebble beach with sleek blue umbrellas and white cabanas leading to turquoise waters. The family-led requalification prioritized environmental redemption and structural safety through geological surveys, specialist engineering and sustainable landscape design using indigenous plants, aromatic herbs and flowering agapanthus. Practical amenities include barrier-free access, rare-on-the-coast parking, an outdoor lounge bar for sunset cocktails, wedding and event spaces, and programming such as small music festivals; the owners are also planning a handful of boutique rooms with hiking access to complete the nature-first vision." - Marianna Cerini

These gardens are stunning! We could not believe the views, and how quiet and secluded it was. We ate at the restaurant below it on the beach, and the food was really good and of course you can’t beat the views of the ocean!

Maybe the last hidden beaches on Amari coast. There is a little trick to get there.

Spent a day at the beach club in September 2024. Right away want to address all the negative comments below: 1. During reservation process staff was very attentive and quick for response. The day we booked beach club there was a thunderstorm with heavy rain. Staff from reception called me themselves and offered to use my booking on another day. They also responded to any of my inquiry via email very quickly both early in the morning and late in the evening. 2. Staff at the beach was also pretty nice and attentive. The only drawback was that they speak English very poorly, this is why we had to ask for some things couple of times. 3. Food and drinks at the beach club was nice, but a bit pricey. We didn’t visit the restaurant at the beach. 4. Beach is private and exclusive, as there’s no public part, so you really enjoy sunny day with just another visitors. 5. Yes, sun is down starting from approx. 16.00, BUT - (1) beach club opens at 8.30, if you arrive at 10-11 am you will have plenty of time for sunbathing, (2) it is a case with most beaches on Amalfitana, as you are literally surrounded by mountains, so I literally do not see a point for complaint here. After sun disappeared we were still able to stay until we left at 18.00. 6. Facilities are nice, new, quite beautiful. Everything is to your liking, including two towels per person, welcoming drinks and fruits, hot minty towels to wipe your hands throughout the day, light music on the background, elevator instead of 100 stairs, big parking. Everyrhing is thought throw, I dind’t find anything to complain about.

Google
stunning location, beautiful beach and great service. we were spending a day at the beach club. all staff were very friendly and helpful, lots of nice little details all over the place. lunch at the beach bar was outstanding, delicious food cooked on a high level, good wine list and professional, attentive waiters with good recommendations. definitely worth the price. clearly recommend and will return soon :-)

The place and the beach is beautiful, but the service is not satisfying and is very slow. There is just one person who takes care of people at the beach, so we had to always call and remind the waiter many times to bring something, although there were also few people.

Terrible customer experience: the place is average for the Amalfi coast but quite pretentious considering the price and the services they offer. The entire staff was rude and unprofessional. And the beach has nothing to be called exclusive. I was there at the beginning of June and despite the sun going down around 8.30 pm… the beach was already in the shade after 4 pm… The view and the landscape are nice but this is not unique or attributed to the venue considering you are in the Amalfi coast. Food was good but too pricy.

If price is no object go ahead, these guys are creative cooks, otherwise theres better food for 1/10th the price (£12 for a tiny glass of prosecco without mentioning that price anywhere is pretty gross)
