Food is very nice. Black risotto is 10/10. Good service. I recommend reserving the table in advance. Overall is great but a bit pricey. €221 for 2 of us. 4 dishes and 2 bottles of sparkling water.

Amazing dining experience! The lamb and ribeye was delicious and the waterfront setting made it even more special. Our server Ivicia was outstanding. He was friendly, attentive, and made great recommendations. Definitely worth a visit when in Hvar!

What a gem! Fantastic setting, excellent food, wines and super friendly service. The cuttlefish risotto… Oh my God!. The grilled squid, and the grouper… We’ll be back !!

Okay, so we started off strong with a beautiful sunset view and cocktails. Drinks were decent and wait time for food wasn’t long. Started with the eggplant which was excellent, and then the mains arrived. Pacherre, fried oysters, scallops and rib eye were good. Fried oysters were actually pretty bomb. But then the French fries came along, and oh boy, the night really began. Let me just say: there’s no way these French fries didn’t come from straight from McDonald’s. I mean look at the color. Had us laughing for about 25 minutes. Almost peed myself. Such a bougie restaurant and then, bam. Ba da ba ba ba! We were not lovin it. I even did a palate cleanse with a piece of lemon to taste them again to see if I had misunderstood the situation, and on the second time around I could literally taste the freezer burn. Shoutout to our waiter though, he was a king and we promise we were not laughing at you. 4 stars.

The lobster and Adriatic tuna were true highlights, and the presentation was as impressive as the taste. The wine list is outstanding, with a wide selection of premium local and international wines. The staff was incredibly professional, attentive, and knowledgeable, making sure every detail of our dinner was perfect. The location is unbeatable — right by the water, with stunning views of the harbor, especially during sunset. If you're looking for a high-end dining experience on Hvar that truly delivers in both quality and atmosphere, Gariful is the place. A must-visit!

Restaurant Gariful is truly a beautiful place, perfect for a dinner with a stunning sea view and a magical sunset. The ambiance is elegant and relaxing, ideal for special occasions. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and professional, which made the experience even more enjoyable. We especially loved the appetizers – the octopus salad was refreshing and full of flavor, and the shellfish were perfectly prepared. For the main course, we ordered the catch of the day. While it was fresh and delicious, we had to wait over an hour and a half for it to be served, which was disappointing.The biggest downside was the complete lack of vegan options. My sister, who is vegan, could only order side dishes, which felt quite limiting considering the restaurant’s high-end reputation. All in all, Gariful offers a lovely and luxurious dining experience in a fantastic location.

Beautiful restaurant right on the harbor in Hvar. Classy. Amazing food and service.

No stars. Literally worst restaurant ive been to in a while. I’m writing this review for public good—don’t be fooled by celebs coming here. The food is so horrible (fish scale in my carpaccio) and the burrata has a weird aftertaste. The cuttlefish risotto (supposedly star of the show) was so salty. PLEASE save ur money and time and go somewhere else!
