It has been years since we had been at Garlic Brothers. It was a beautiful day and I wanted to sit by the water. We came here and sat outside on their patio that faces the Delta Waterway. My wife ordered their Fish & Chips with Garlic Fries. It wasn’t like other fish & chips. Not really a batter on the fish and my wife said the fish was not flaky. She said it was ok. I ordered their Fish Sandwich which was pretty good served on a Chibatta Roll with fries. Our server was attentive and it seems like all of their servers did a good job at their respective tables. Overall nice meal and a good time.

Welcoming staff, lively atmosphere, and delicious food. Decent prices and it’s by a nice lake too! (I want to eat outside my next visit.) The service was fast and my server was super friendly. I’ll definitely be back. Thank you for a wonderful experience out to dinner by myself <3

First off, I was quite surprised, shockingly surprised how fast the food came out (maybe it was pre made and sat there) Food and Cadillac Margarita was disappointing. French fries calamari was rubbery and possibly undercooked , oysters had a funny taste and the bread that came with was cold and stale, shrimp was decent. Our waitress/bartender was very friendly and attentive, the atmosphere is always a vibe. It could use a little tender, loving care in the menu/Food prep and selection of quality ingredients.

I forgot about this gem on the water, and wish I took better pics for you all, but know it’s a great location, excellent outdoor seating to enjoy the view, food, company, drinks, etc., great indoor bar, and indoor seating as well. Parking can be tough in the front area, but there is ample parking along the boat marina. As to the food, it’s actually surprisingly awesome. The menu has numerous options, and none have let me down. In the pictures here, I show their shrimp appetizer, bacon-wrapped duck appetizer, and their gumbo. It’s all excellent, especially in Stockton of all places. This place is definitely worth the visit. It’s basically at the end of Benjamin Holt, a minute or two west of I-5. It’s nestled away and easy to miss, but don’t miss it, you’ll thank me later!

This was good spot to hit after playing golf. Overall it is a good place. My friends were satisfied with their meals and for the most part mine was okay as well. Where they fell short on the food was that the largest fry on my garlic fries order was about 1" long with everything else being crumbs. Felt like what ever was left on the bottom was dumped on my plate. The other area where they fell short was with the server. When I pointed out the fries to my server, rather than apologize, her response was, "I just bring out what they put on the plate". Now, this was my experience and I'm sure your experience may be much diffrent.

Been twice for two different birthdays. First time was excellent, not a complaint. Second time was an extremely busy Saturday night and they were SLAMMED! I won't bore with the details but management and server, plus additional staff, did EVERYTHING you could ever hope for when dealing with several issues. We will return and you should go! Just maybe not when they are so busy. You'll want to soak up the atmosphere and the chill vibes from their awesome staff. I hear Monday nights are great for both PRICE, SERVICE, AND AMBIANCE! Food is really good any day of the week!

I love Garlic Brothers. It's tucked away on Ben Holt, next to the water. There's so much space indoor and outdoor on the patio. If you sit inside you still have a great view of the water through all the large windows. Right now the place is full of Christmas lights and decor and I love it so much! Whoever was in control of the music playlist was playing all the R&B jams and I love that too lol. The food is so good and such a variety of options. My friend ordered the fried ravioli appetizer and they're so good! If you like garlic, they're packed with flavor. I ordered the pork belly and it was a perfect balance of crunch and melt in your mouth. The service was great. They were very flexible with our group, allowed us to divide the check, and our waitress didn't even add gratuity. Such nice staff. Checkout all the specials. Each weekday has pretty great deals. I've had the spaghetti special before. How can you beat a huge serving of spaghetti for only $4?! Can't wait to go back. Can't believe it's been so long since I went here.

I had to laugh at some of the not so nice reviews of the Garlic Brother's. Someone complaining about too much garlic on their pizza...geez, it's in the name "Garlic" Brothers. Garlic Brother's is a nice casual place to grab a bite to eat with family, friends or out on a date. The restaurant sits on the Delta and the sunsets are amazing! The family and I enjoy going to catch some of their great dinner deals! Daily specials: Monday all entrées are $16.00, $2.00 Taco's on Tuesday's, $4.00 spaghetti bowls & garlic bread on Wednesday and Thursday 1/2 off on all pizza's & $11.00 grilled chicken breast with lasagna. My favorite appetizer is the atomic balls and for dinner, I love their salmon bowl or penne pasta. The servers are great and friendly.

It was hard to decide whether to give Garlic Brothers a three or four star review, but I decided on four stars...The location, views and ambience are definitely a four or five star. The location is right on the Delta with views of the Marina harbor and an RV park and yacht club across the way. The outdoor patio is beautiful, especially on a beautiful sunny day. Even the inside is a fun atmosphere with nice lighted decorations. Service was good. We were seated pretty quickly on a Friday night for our group of five people. Food was ok, it was pretty good, but I was not wowed by anything. I ordered the Italian Hero pizza and wasn't quite sure how I felt about it. The sausage on the pizza was large diagonal slices of a large sausage link and you have to really love garlic to order this pizza. Just about every bite was filled with a giant piece of a roasted garlic clove. I love garlic, but it was almost too much garlic for me. We also ordered some garlic fries, which tasted pretty generic and the kind that you would get at any restaurant. Others in our party ordered the pasta which looked like it was a fairly good serving. We also ordered the fried raviolis as an appetizer and they were also just ok. I would have preferred that they come with marinara sauce instead of the ranch dressing we were provided. I think that I would return here on a day trip to have lunch for a drink and an appetizer on the patio. I really love it more for the atmosphere than I did the food.

The location of this place is great right on the water indoor outdoor seating decorated for Halloween and Christmas it is absolutely beautiful. They have great specials every day of the week there's something to go for! Mondays everything is $16 or under which is awesome I got a very delicious steak for an unbeatable price! I highly recommend this place! The service was really really good My waitress was so nice and very helpful with with giving me recommendations. This is definitely a gem in this area and I'm so happy I was able to find it!

Garlic Brothers Restaurant is a casual seafood/Italian/American restaurant that offers a casual dining experience on the banks of California Delta in Stockton. Today, I visited them on a clear breezy afternoon to grab lunch. I loved my experience. The ambiance was good as well as the phenomenal delta view; the food and drink were delightful and refreshing, respectively. Similarly, its interior layout was spacious with abundant of natural light. And their staff were affable, attentive and professional especially my server who paid attention to my needs. Their menu features a wide variety of pasta dishes, from classic pasta to more adventurous options like Steak and Stone Oven Pizzas. I tried their Chicken Penne and it was creamy and flavorful, and Garlic Parm Fries was lovely, crunchy and warm. Its dipping sexy sauces (ketchup and sour cream) were good. I could taste the fresh garlic and herbs, making each bite delightful. lol. Parking lot available. Prices were reasonable for this type of restaurant. As I finish paying the bill at the counter, a lovely young white 5'4" woman with light brown hair (prolly a customer) approached from behind just to compliment my 90's retro pants. Talking about randomness. And y'all must know, I did not get her digits. Lol. Anyway, back to the review. Overall, this was a good spot to grab lunch. I'd recommend GBR if you're in town.

Great atmosphere, and environment. Love the patio which was full and wait on a warm 86 degree day, so opted to sit inside next to the window with a great view of Fourteen Mile Slough. Watch boats and jet skis fly by! Started with the Atomic Balls appetizer. Was good. Not spicy like I was expecting it to be. Needed more seasoning in the Mac and cheese, but had flavor and was a great crunch. I'm a spicy type dude, but not everyone loves my heat tolerance. All good. Sweet sautéed bell peppers and jalapeños give it a great touch. Main course was very delicious! The Addiction. Pork belly fried with white rice with green onions. A NICE malt vinegar, honey drizzle that went on top of the dish. Very flavorful and tasty. Service was quick, prompt and courteous. Very nice atmosphere and would return. Thank you!

The Ambiance is super cute, it kind of has a Tahoe during the summer feel to it if you sit on the Patio by the water it is very nice! Our server Brandon was extremely sweet, on top of it and prompt!! Amazing service. The host also ran out a debit card we left so that was above and beyond thoughtful. The food we got the crunch shrimp with peanut sauce as an app. Sauce was good but a tad spicy. We got the salmon with polenta and garlic mashed potatoes (this place is said to put a lot of garlic in so they certainly have my vote) the salmon was good the polenta could have had a little more salt but it was still yummy. The salad was a steak mixed green one with lots of veggies and it's delicious! I will definitely get something with their steak next time it was cooked to perfection! 10/10!!!

We took the boat to Garlic Brothers Restaurant for dinner on a Wednesday night, and it was so much fun! We thought because it was a week night it would be dead, but there were a lot of people, and they had music playing, just a fun atmosphere! Even though it was crowded, we were able to sit immediately. I got the Luna Chick, it was good, but the chicken wasn't spicy like the menu had represented it to be. The beans were INCREDIBLE! Mixed those in with the rice (that also has mango and cilantro in it) and I would have been fine with no chicken on my plate haha. Literally the BEST beans I've ever had lol. My fiancé got the Grilled Pork Steak (Bone-In). I did not try it, but he said it was really good and he ate every last bite! Both our meals are pictured below! Overall we had a a wonderful time. Already planning our next trip, and I'll be ordering a calzone.

It had been a few years since visiting this establishment and I'm not sure why. We went today and were seated right away which was great because we were a party of 10 and expected a wait without a reservation. Brandon was our server, he was very attentive and helpful with menu suggestions. He made sure our glasses were refilled before we realized we needed a refill. Very good service. Our food came out quickly and everything was so good! I had the garlic steak sandwich with a side salad, my steak was cooked perfectly as I ordered it. Everyone in our party really enjoyed their meal. This restaurant has a relaxed comfy ambiance. Music is playing but you can still have a conversation with your table, they have TVs in the bar area. Nice views. Can't go wrong. We'll be back.

The food and drinks here were absolutely amazing. Service was great especially for the very large party we had so shoutout to them. Chicken sandwhich was fantastic and we got the fishbowl which tasted great we well. Will say it wasn't worth $40 (I'd pay maybe $25) but we still enjoyed it

I've been here a few times many moons ago and did not have a pleasant visit. As the food wasn't great. I decided to give it a try again. Recently I went with my best friend and tried their happy hour. We got $2 off an appetizer and they have wells for $4 etc. I was thoroughly impressed with their fast and friendly service! My best friend roster the lightly fried calamari and subbed her side for garlic fries and brussel sprouts. I ordered fish and chips. But wanted to add garlic to my chips. We also got the atomic balls which were fried Mac n cheese with jalapeños. I definitely will be coming back again. The area was nicely kept and the view was beautiful!

Extremely bad experience. Wrong order. Bad quality fish and chips...burned and too oily. Steaks were burnt badly. Environment outside is dirty. Not a good experience

I love the aesthetics of this place. You can sit near the water and the view is great. The food quality has went down and unfortunately our server was very rude. Maybe it was just an off day? The pesto and the artichoke dip were the best thing we ate. I will have to reconsider coming back.

Great service. Solid food. We had a group of 8, called ahead for a table in the deck. Enjoyed the artichoke dip. Chips and salsa wasn't too spicy but had some kick. A favorite was asking to turn a personal pizza into a calazone. Prices are reasonable. Our hostess was very thoughtful. We booted in without problem. Driving also is an option.

Service was impeccable here! Dominic was our server and he was astounding! Kept our glasses full we never had to ask! Our food was delivered within minutes after we ordered it. He was very friendly and helpful also. The food here is delicious! I had the pesto and ribs! I love their pesto and highly recommend it! Do yourself a favor and try it! You won't be disappointed! The ambiance here is extremely casual with amazing views of the Delta waters, sunsets, and the marina. We went here for the second time in the last year and both times were equally wonderful experiences. I am not sure how I didn't write a Yelp review last time but made sure I did this time! Check out my photos for more information on our experiences! Warning, parking can be a challenge, even the handicap parking is a good walk from the restaurant door entrance. Just throwing this out there in case you need to plan accordingly. (For example bring the wheelchair instead of the walker). Highly recommend this local small business!

Do our yearly Stagg HS Class of '66 Mini-Reunion lunch here. About 25 local classmates have an afternoon of catching up and reminiscing. Great food and excellent services by staff.

Food was horrible I will never go back. Service was ok not bad. Ambiance was great. But over all the food was horrible that alone made me not want to ever eat here again. It was my first time eating there and my last time. Extremely disappointed. Please save your money DO NOT eat here.

Loved it. This was our first visit to Garlic Brothers. We arrived boat. We ate inside. Our server was quite pleasant and helpful. Our table of 4 shared the Artichoke Dip appetizer. It was hot and tasty. Three of us had Mai Tais and they were sweet and tasty. My wife and I shared the Grilled Garlic Steak sandwich with Garlic Fries. Wow - really tasty. And garlicky!! If we find ourselves in the area in the future, we'll definitely come back to Garlic Brothers.

I'm in love with there special's Monday half price. Taco Tuesday $2.00 and Wednesday spaghetti $4.00 with everything on it. $1.00 meat balls. I enjoy and will bring my friends and family.

Man, this location has sooo much potential! Unfortunately the quality of the food and poor menu options fail it. I ordered the tri tip sandwich and it tasted like microwave meat! The Bar rules are a downer. I used to love this place. I don't think I'll go back until something changes.

I've been raving about this place to my Mom for a while. Finally got to take her. When we walked in. She stood waiting to be seated. I told her I'll meet her at the table. I need to use the restroom when I was done and walked out the restroom. She was still waiting to be seated. No one even acknowledged her at the door. A simple "we'll be right with you" would've went a long way. Finally after a good while we got a table, after waiting. About five minutes for a server. I got up and asked for help a manager. I believe ran right over and got our order. He introduced us to another girl who is going to be our server. The food was delicious. Overall the tri tips salad is one of my favorites. We did have to wait for our waters to be refilled. Overall, the food was great. The service is one of the reasons. My mother will not be going back.

Everything went well! The service, food, and the ambiance were all on point. I had the lunch portion of the Chicken Penne, which was plenty and delicious. My bartender (V) and server (Kenzie) made me feel right at home! Everyone was friendly and even gave me recommendations in the area. I recommend!

I had a good experience here. I rate it 3.8in a half stars however it does not have that option so I round up to 4 stars. My husband and I wanted to eat somewhere near the water and after searching Yelp we found this place. I really wanted oysters so it was perfect. When we arrived, it was pretty empty so we was seated right away outside near the water. Our waitress Monica was very kind and attentive. She had amazing customer service. We ordered the shrimp appetizer which was yummy, the peanut sauce was a pleasant surprise, I really enjoyed the spice. We ordered the watermelon margarita and they were delicious 10/10 I would of had three if we didn't have our son and have to pick up my daughter right after. Food: I ordered the chicken salad and oysters my Salad was good , the lettuce was grilled and the chicken was seasoned well, I gave it a 7.5 because I like when my salad is cold and my chicken is warm. The warm lettuce from being grilled threw me off a bit. The oysters was very tasty I gave them a 8/10 I wish they were bigger and less mushy but they were still good I will order again! My husband ordered the burger and he said it was a 6/10 but also loved his margarita! We ordered a kids pizza for my daughter and she really enjoyed! We will definitely be back!

I come here once every couple months with my family. The food is amazing. My usual is a pepperoni, cheese, and mushroom calzone. The waiters are kind and funny with all customers. It is a canal side restaurant that has a seaside vibe to it.

Food is barely edible. It wasn't great when I went there about 20 years ago. I decided to try it again. It hasn't improved, in fact it's gotten worse. I love that you can dine indoors or al fresco. The wait staff are friendly and helpful. I ended up ordering fish and chips because it was about the only thing that looked decent. I got four little pieces of fish that were about 2 bites each. They were greasy. It wasn't filling and the price was really high for the amount of food. Hopefully it will improve and will be worth going there in the future.

I live minutes away and haven't been in years. I took my son for a birthday meal and was seated immediately by the window with the water view. We got the duck wraps, the fish and chips and my son ordered a pizza which was half off on Thursdays. Well drinks were $5. The waitress was attentive and brought out his bday dessert with a firework style candle. We had a nice meal and will be back.

Always delicious and friendly! Great atmosphere. We always enjoy the pizza and banana bread pudding.

I want to give a HUGE thank you to Gina and Claire for going above and beyond in their customer service. I dined in Saturday afternoon ( my first outing with my newborn), and I was quite nervous and didn't know what to expect since I had a car seat, etc. I was greeted right away by the host Claire and manager Gina. They immediately asked me what kind of chair I wanted for my baby. I answered and they took us to our table, where they rearranged the table and seats to accommodate my baby's car seat. This kind of service absolutely made my experience a great one. This is the customer service experience that makes me want to return. Thank you, ladies! I appreciate you making this first time mom feel comfortable and welcomed.

Came here with family to celebrate my nieces and their great dance performances and it was a nice place to eat with a view. Service was quick and friendly. Got the chicken penne as it was highly recommended by my sister in law. And it did not disappoint. It's a must. The sun dried tomato goes well with it. However it could use a bit of spice. The garlic bread was great as well. Would definitely get both if I were ever to go back.

Went here a couple weeks ago with some friends. The service here is good. Our waitress was really nice and very helpful, she recommended so many dishes to our table. The ambiance was alright. We got seated by the big glass windows. The sun was flashing into our eyes, but shortly after the sun shades came down. The food was really good, definitely recommend trying the fried mac & cheese balls they have, it was really good. I also ordered the pizza they had, very delicious. I am giving this restaurant an overall 4/5 star review. Definitely will be back to eat there again and will definitely recommend this to my friends and family!

Food was overly priced as well as drinks. It was decent. The fish bowl was really good. Staff do not seem happy at all. It was like a robotic interaction. I was very disappointed because I'd heard great things about the place. I don't think I would go back. Hope someone reads this and makes some real changes.

The minute I walked in, I was pleased with the hostess, atmosphere and the view. The restaurant sits on the San Joaquin river. Our waitress was amazing, food was served in a timely manner, waitress was as always there for anything we needed. The food was good and I have no complaints at all

New spot we found for after work drinks. Wish happy hour was longer especially on fridays. By the time we got off work & made it to the place, we only had 30mins for half off drinks. Now the happy hour drinks was good, only negative is that it would help of they have a drink menu of drinks that are offered during those times. Because I tried to ordered 3 different drinks & was told no because they were considered for "top shelf" drinks. And the server wasn't no help when it comes to drinks. But my strawberry margarita that I ordered after Happy hour was horrible. Tasted like it was just straight thick strawberry juice. But food was good. Great place for food & vibes.

Great food and friendly, casual hospitality overlooking the Delta. Had an amazing arugula salad with grilled chicken and dressed with lemon vinaigrette. Dessert of bread pudding ala mode was an indulgent experience worth the extra calories! Special shout out to our server, Elizabeth, for her professional, easy-going, and conscientious service.

Great flavors, beautiful views, and wonderful service. I had the Grilled Oysters for starters and the Grilled Salmon bowl for lunch. Both were great, the only reason for the 4 stars. The salmon was a bit dry

We are here at the Garlic Brothers in Stockton CA. We are from Sacramento On Wednesday is the pasta special. For $4, you can get a plate of delicious pasta with unlimited bread. For an extra $2, you can add a meatball. And for you wine lovers, another $2 will get you a glass of house wine I have been here before and loved it. We decided to take the 40 minute drive to eat here as a family. The food is great. I had the pasta and ribs and know they are great. Service is great and the atmosphere is really outstanding. You can sit near the windows and see the Delta river Atmosphere. 5/5 Location. 5/5 Service. 5/5 Friendly staff 5/5 Food quality and quantity 5/5 Too bad it is not a bit closer since I would come more. Our next plan is taco Tuesdays for $2 each. But that will be next week I highly recommend you patronize this gem here in Stockton Now, how did others rate this 3 stars. I really don't know. But it seems great to me

Still my Delta go to, a group of morning coffee buddies assembled for a little Christmas cheer. Seating was all ready for 12 of us. Drinks prompt and good and apps are on the way....more to follow. Oh and a Dukedom! ....so the apps came out, I had a nice little dish of greens, grilled red and bellpeppers and topped with three nice pieces of bacon wrapped duck breast. Almost a meal in itself. Others had great looking cheese burgers snd various apps....all pleased!
