Do not waste your time driving here. Absolutely disappointing. Smallest outlet store I've ever been to, and it's attached to their headquarters....how does it not have more items?! Minimal amount of clothing, more bedding. Most clothing is made in China. Biggest let down.

Sweet outlet store with a lot of discounted clothing and bedding and shoes (men and women’s styles)! Right off the highway - easy to get to. Be prepared to spend some $$ but if you love Garnet Hill this is a must stop! They offered me a punch card that when you reach $500 you get an extra $50 off. Don’t ask me how I know that this works ;)

Love my new rug that I purchased last weekend at the outlet store. It’s an 8 x 10 paws claw pattern. It looks beautiful and I received so many compliments. Thank you so much to Val and her team of associates. I always have an amazing shopping experience there.

What a nightmare! I ordered a set of sheets from this company. Immediately started receiving their catalogs along with other companies. Called and requested to be removed from mailing list and asked if they sell my info to other catalog companies. The girl said they don’t do that. Here I am over 6 months later still receiving their catalogs. When I called last month, I was told they never removed me from receiving the catalogs! I called again this month and was told they have me now removed from catalogs but still selling my information to other companies! This company lies to their customers. I bought a quilt last month and found one on their website that I really liked but there is no way I will give this company another penny of my money. They are deceptive and liars. We’ll see if I will ever stop receiving their catalogs along with all the others they sold my personal information.

Really good quality merchandise from the look of it. I was expecting bigger discounts for an outlet store but I did not go at a time that they had a mega sale. Pricing is somewhat confusing as clothes are marked down a certain percentage discount depending on which rack they are on. Bought a Christmas PJ for my daughter that was on the 60% rack but noticed when I arrive home that it was 50% off on my receipt. Too far away at that point to return.

Hit or miss , but really great prices when you do. Wanted to add, Great staff, very helpful , clean bright shopping space, have picked up many great bargains over the yeard. Live in the area so we check in often , bring visiting friends and family , they all feel the same. So if your visiting the White Mountains for Sking leaf peeping . Check them out.

Would give them a 0 if I could. They keep selling things they don't have and charged my card. Had to file a claim to get a refund on the first order they cancelled. Told them to take me off their contact list and cancel my account. They refused to cancel my account. Filed a complaint with FTC and BBB. This place has gone down hill. No customer service and charge people for items they don't have. Did it 2 times in one week to me. Will shop some where else that has it together.

Poor customer service. I was sent a pillow sham when I had ordered a t-shirt. The shirt I ordered is now out of stock. It took over three weeks for the wrong package to arrive. The invoice inside the package had another persons name on it and an address for VA...I live in CO! I am not a happy customer and will not be doing business with Garnet Hill again. i have been buying clothes from Garnet Hill for years but no more. A couple of years ago, I bought some single color tops in which the hem unraveled. I can cut off the thread and resew the hem but the hem wouldn't look good so I just wear them in the house. After the second hem unraveled I complained about the quality and was just told that they were too old for a refund. I just wanted to alert the company about its poor quality control. I wasn't looking for a refund.

Customer service representatives are atrocious! They never have any answers to any questions or concerns and all I was looking for was tracking information that I was promised I would receive in an email once the item shipped. I received the email that product shipped but no tracking information and no information as to where it was shipped or who it was shipped to. I am always told that it was being shipped directly from the vendor and they will reach out. I never get a response other than that and no updates. It has been over a month since the items were ordered and I can't check the order status online because there is an error message that says "order information is permanently unavailable" because of a "system issue". I will never order from here again! I'd give 0 stars if I could.

Garnet Hill used to be reliable for well made clothes and bedding. They are now just ridiculously overpriced with poor service. I don't know why I thought ordering from them this time would be better. They charge an exorbitant fee for shipping (this is where they clearly make even more money), then don't ship the items for a week at least, and they do not have free returns. For a catalogue/internet based company (there might be a few people in New Hampshire naive enough to shop there in person, but I doubt it) they need to stop charging for shipping. But, if they are going to charge exorbitant prices for shipping, then they should actually ship the purchase in a timely way. It's a very expensive store that mostly sells droopy clothes made in China and charges a lot for them.

First time I ever ordered from Garnet Hill. Their website glitched and sent me a duplicate order. Customer service was unfriendly and frankly inept. I returned both and they never refunded me, so working with my credit card company to sort this out. They truly seem to be an amateur shop, would not recommend!

I used to love Garnet Hill. I ordered kids clothes, sheets/towels, and of course, women's clothing. In the past year or two, it's just all gone down hill to such an extent (except prices, which are still going up). First, they stopped selling kids clothes completely. Then, they stopped putting the garment measurements on the website. Then I noticed that they don't always show the back and side view of the garments. I realized (after some trial and error), that they leave out the unflattering photos, so if you don't see a back shot of pants/dresses/etc. it's because it doesn't look good from the back. This is even more frustrating because they charge for both shipping and returns; the LEAST they could do it show something from all angles and give you the garment measurements. Their stuff can be nice, but it's not THAT nice. I'm kind of done with them, sadly.

I've been purchasing GH sheets since 1980's. I have always loved the flannel sheets (their German ones that are their name brand sheets.) I'm never buying anything from them again. The sizes are way off...I got shams that had no size printed on them and called because I ordered standard and the shams were huge...twice the normal size (of which I have several). The "support person" knew nothing...didn't even try to research what I received and what standard size is supposed to be. They are using a different flannel which has long strands of fuzz and is a magnet for hair. I was such a loyal customer and can't believe how bad their service and quality is now.

I ordered a bathing skirt from GH. Got it, like it. Ordered the matching top, claimed they were shipping it on 7/6. Called today and was told they don't even have it. There were no notifications regarding this, if I hadn't called I wouldn't know. What has happened to Garnet Hill??? I will not buy her ever again.

I tried to post this review on their site and they would not let me ... I purchased "Garnet Hill Essential Down Blanket and Throw". The title tells you that you are purchasing two blankets - the size you chose and a matching throw. The order confirmation shows two blankets - one larger and one smaller. For the price, I thought it was a good value. I only received one blanket - the larger one. Customer service says that the title means there is available various sized blankets and a throw size. They also say that the picture with order confirmation is just a stock photo. They refunded my shipping charge -big deal. I gave it as a gift and now I can't take it back. Never will order anything from them again.

I've purchased three (grossly overpriced) blankets/quilts from Garnet Hill as a new customer, but this time I decided to purchase something different. I ordered a swag to hang on my door and a doormat. The doormat was $39 and worth about that much, so I wasn't super disappointed. However, the swag, which arrived two weeks later, cost $59 and appeared as though a 5-year-old child had made it. I looked forward to hanging this piece on the outside of my door, but now I'm too embarrassed. It's disgustingly cheap looking. Not to mention the shipping! Almost $20 to ship both items!? They really make bank on the shipping for sure and, based on the added disappointment with the swag, I won't purchase another thing from Garnet Hill.

I purchased several pairs of cashmere socks for presents over the holidays and two pairs for myself. Unfortunately after just 4-5 times of wearing the bottom of the socks are threadbare. That are also not consistent in size as one pair are much tighter at the top than the other (of the same size). I definitely do NOT recommend.

Horrible place to do business. Garnet Hill was great 10 years ago, now "customer service" ( I use that term loosely) is deplorable. I placed an order for several items, including furniture. The order confirmation had an old shipping address in Virginia, so I called immediately to update the shipping address to Colorado. All the items arrived to the new address, but Garnet Hill failed to relay the change of address to their outside furniture vendor and my Hampton's chair was delivered to a home we no longer own. Weeks of trying to get customer service to hear or resolve the issue was infuriating. I called, left messages, wrote emails, no response or if I did get through the representative said they couldn't help me, the "furniture person" could only help with the issue. It was a simple oversight that they could have easily rectified. The furniture "customer service" person was awful and even called me a liar under her breath . Now if you want a lot of added stress in your life, then buy from Garnet Hill.

Impossible to talk to a person at their customer service line. Their message is "we are extremely busy right now. please hang up and try again in a few minutes." Really?!!?

Garnet Hill sells quality clothing. Since they carry various brands, the sizing can be quite inconsistent, which often means buying two sizes with the plan on returning one. HOWEVER, don't plan on seeing your refund for at least a month after they receive the return. They put lots of effort into sending catalogs and emails, but really take their time processing returns and refunds. They received my return on 4/21/23, processed it on 5/5/23, and then mailed me a paper check on 5/18/23, even though I paid by credit card. Apparently they "updated" their computer system during this time and it wiped out all of the credit card information, resulting in the need to mail a check, but I would have expected expedited service on the return since no one expects to receive a refund in the form of a paper check in 2023.

Drastic changes in practices, communication and overall business philosophy. Long story short my order was completely bungled and I had to call customer service 3 times before I got someone to help. Of note, my order total dollar was not insignificant. I'll never shop them again.

I placed an order on November 7th and have waited patiently for the order to arrive only to get an email today, December 8th, that caused me to scratch my head. The email reads "Thank you for your recent order. We are sorry that you needed to return the item. The following credit has been applied to your order. If the credit is for a returned item, it is detailed below. If you have ordered exchange items, these will be shipped as soon as they are available. Please allow 3-5 business days for your credit card company to process your credit." I immediately called them to find out what the heck this email was about since I'd never even received the item, much less wanted to return it. The woman I spoke with tells me that the order was basically canceled because they didn't have a street name for the shipping address. This baffles me since I created an account through their website, where my street address is clearly listed, and if by chance I didn't put the name of my street in the address field (possible I guess), why would it take one month to hear anything from the company? Well, after speaking with a completely clueless supervisor, I find out that my order was shipped out (despite not having a street name???) and then returned to sender because..... yep, no street name. So what does the company do? They take my order and basically sell it to someone else. By the time I get an email about how sorry they are that I "needed to return the item," and subsequently call to find out what's going on, they are sold out of the item and I'm SOL. Awesome. Good job guys. I don't feel like I can shop at a place that I can't trust to do right by their customers. They had all of my info through my account, they had an email address....c'mon guys!

Just received a dormat from Garnet Hill. It's the worst quality I've ever seen. The packaging was cheap and fell apart and the dormat is already falling apart. BEWARE!! WHAT A SCAM! I purchased a pair of $ 300+ boots on 12/19. The ship date was scheduled for 12/27 (already a pretty late ship date). I did not receive an email confirmation the item shipped on 12/27- On the order page the ship date changed to 12/30 (no email update from company about the delay). On 12/30 the item did not ship. I called the company and they said it was in the warehouse and might ship this week or next week. They gave me no information about why they were delayed or even had any idea when they'd actually ship. Customer service is very disappointing for a price tag like this! They finally arrived today on 1/11 and they have been worn!! THEY ARE USED BOOTS!!!. The soles are worn and the leather has been worn in already. I honestly can't believe this- I am too afraid to return them as I don't trust this company to refund my payment or, ever send me another pair. I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM HERE AGAIN. What a Shame- I like the products they sell but who sells a pair of shoes for over $300, makes the customer wait 15 days to receive them and then sends a used/returned pair with obvious wear!!! HORRIBLE.

I ordered a king bottom and pillow cases. We have a wonderful new mattress that is not a heavy deep one thus I do not want deep bottom sheets because they will not stay tight. On their site they do not tell you if the bottom is extra deep but when it arrived that is what they sent. I called to complain and the "testy" guy did not want to heart about it and hung up. Wrote a formal letter no response - they lost my business.

I love Garnet Hill clothes. They are expensive but they have great sales. I won't buy from them anymore because even with a 20% discount during sale times their shipping rates are OUTRAGEOUS!! If defeats the purpose of the discount. When they have a sale and they send you a free shipping code it can't be used when you're getting a discount. I know many, many people have complained about their shipping costs but they don't seem to care what their customers think.

They keep sending printed catalogs that you never signed up for and there is no way to remove yourself from it. There is a website form to stop catalogs but filling it does nothing other than send an automated support ticket number. The customer service never responds. The only hope is to take to state consumer affairs or BBB. Imagine the amount of wasted time, frustration!

I just had to post a review of Garnet Hill but also of all the dumb people that have left negative reviews. Should Garnet Hill have better shipping rates? Yes! But when you place an order with them, it's right on their website that they charge what they charge for the order and if you need to return it, it will cost you. To complain about this on Yelp is ridiculous! You knew the rules now deal with them. This is what is wrong with society today. I find Garnet Hill has beautiful things. Some you can find on other websites but some are exclusive to them. I have ordered several things from them and they have all been high quality. They are a small company and not huge like Amazon or Nordstrom. They are like Sundance Catalog who yes still charges shipping. If don't like the rules don't shop with them.

Caution on getting returns reimbursed: paid $217.13 total for two blouses. They did not fit right so I had to return them. They only reimbursed me: $181. 10. They charge for return shipping, keep the taxes and maybe some other fee? I couldn't track it all. Bottom line: I was only reimbursed $181.10. So I am out about $37 for just trying on two blouses! Not happy. I won't be buying again.

Purchased 2 $39 T's. They fit like a loose swim suit. Really gross. It took 11 days to process the return. Rather than reimbursing the whole price for the original purchase, all they did was waive the return shipping of $7 at my request. That means that when one returns something, and you don't make a special request, she are out $19-20, $12 for the send and $7 for the return. That's absurd. Think twice before placing an order with Garnet Hill. Prices are way inflated anyway. And then to gouge the customer for shipping both ways is absurd. The order should be free over $50 or $75 in the first place like most retail.

I used to order more from them - but, their shipping costs are so high - and now they charge sales tax (in WA state that's 10%) and - if they offer a sale - it's worthless now, since the tax and shipping make it waaaay to expensive. Garnet Hill has some great (but pricey) wares - but, until they start offering better and more frequent free shipping - as with stores like Nordstroms, JCrew, Boden - I just can't justify ordering from them any more.

Nice looking stuff but that's just to lure you in... liars are selling out of stock goods then putting authorized holds on credit cards so you can't cancel order despite no shipping estimates after 2 weeks of purchase (items were advertised as in stock) Beware of these hucksters. They don't have my order in stock they can't tell me when it will be in for shipping and when I cancel my order they won't give me a cancellation number they just give me a person's name because they say that they don't use cancellation numbers I have been trying for 12 days now to cancel a $350 order of bedding that they have charged me 4 and have yet to ship Despite their Website saying they do not charge your card until they ship. What day do do is place a hold authorization on your card for the full amount of the order So that they can still ship pieces of the order in drips and drabs after 30 days. Customer service can tell me nothing about my order they can only take orders. Customer service can't give me an estimated shipping date despite product being listed as in stock on the catalogue. All communications with representatives only yield 1st names so when you call back To tell them about a cancellation and say Kristen cancelled the order, you are Politely told there is no Christian that works there By that name. Is it any wonder Set they have 1.2 star Google review and a failing rating with the Better Business Bureau... All my emails requesting cancellations go unanswered As do any queries as to when the product will be in stock Tip for consumers: Run away..check bbb reviews ...call customer service they don't track orders or give out any shipping info

I have always loved Garnet Hill products. But I bought a dress I didn't like. Price on sale, $44. I returned it immediately and only got $29 returned to my account. Ticked, I called customer service. I was told that when one returns something, one then has to pay for the shipping to the customer, as well as the shipping back to the company. Not fair. Told it's written on the site. So I live on-line and often have to pay shipping if I return a product. But NEVER the additional shipping costs related to store's shipping out to me. So BEWARE. Understand that Garnet Hill will double charge. The woman I spoke with was helpful and took care of it, but who wants to start the day with more problems than we're carrying now in our upside down world.

I love the line that Garnet Hill carries, great quality. My frustration is with the customer service response. I purchased some sweaters and the price had changed, I called to request a price adjustment but the rep could not assist so I had to ship the items back and re-order. It is a clear waste of resources. Secondly, I ordered items on Friday and called today, Wednesday, and the order has not yet been processed/shipped. It shouldn't take almost 4 days to ship products out. I asked if they could expedite the shipping and it was so convoluted, we would have to cancel the order and re-order and then they would charge me $14. I'm frustrated and disappointed in the process.

Have been tempted over the years and literally have never kept anything..either the fit was wrong, the color was not as the catalog or something. I should have learned to just toss the book that comes in the mail. They are now using some very cheap mode of shipping and orders are taking much longer than most companies with no help tracking. Their shipping charges are archaic and you also have to pay for returns....few if any exceptions. Nope cannot recommend doing business here...quality of their own brands are poor. Be careful...could be an expensive mistake and both shipping and returns take forever.

Garnet Hill has been my one top-notch, never-failing online retailer for years now. I cannot afford some of their items, as (and this is often the case) quality costs more. I do shop their special promotions, as well as their clearance section and "sale of the day" items -and there I often find those pieces I've been longing for. *Three Eileen Fisher dresses I bought nearly a year ago, I just recently tried on. They are now in season; I'd finally lost the weight, and I was anxious to see them on. I was shocked they were now far too big. As they had been kept in their bags and were in NWT condition, Garnet Hill gladly accepted the return for a full refund! So, I'll gladly pay S&H. (Most online retailers cannot offer free two-day shipping.) P.S. The clearance section is my virtual discount center/secret pleasure. I set aside time each day to "stroll the aisles."

Customer service is pathetic. They have frequent web site and inventory problems, and calling customer service is an unhappy experience. Quality of merchandiise is consistently pretty good, but shipping charges are RIDICULOUS. I just ordered a terry dress and was charged $12.95 to ship. This company needs to start reading the reviews and responding to them. Don't you know that you are smarter to offer free shipping and incorporate the cost in to your merchandise? If I have to return this item, it will have cost me over $20 for nothing! Bad business approach.

I received a sweater as a Christmas gift that was very pretty but did not look nice on me so I returned it using the label provided on December 26th. Tracking shows it was received on December 29th. Today, February 3rd, I finally received a refund check. Although they have some pretty items, the amount of time they took to issue the refund once the product was received back is enough to make me hesitate before making any purchases from them again.

I would love to write a great review of my new $128 bathing suit; but as it turns out I do not have it and I'm out $128. When I ordered it online, I received a receipt email. I opened it with in a few hours of ordering and noticed the shipping address was incorrect. I immediately notified customer service via email to stop the shipment and I also went online to change my shipping address (which by the way web designers at GH, is not that easy to access--which is part of the problem). I wasn't getting any response so I also called the customer service number (this is all within 8 hours of my order) . The customer service rep told me it was already "in processing" so there was nothing I could do. She admitted to this happening to her as well even though she's worked at GH for like 15 years. Her advice was to just go over to the house that it was sent to and ask them for it. She said the owners of that house could also just sent it back. I mentioned that they might think of redesigning their order page so it's easier to double check and update addresses. She made it sound like I was the luddite and there was nothing wrong with the navigation. I simply reminded her that the customer is always right and that it was just a suggestion. I've never had a problem with any other website like this. Amazon is so popular because its ordering pages are customer-friendly and easy to navigate. I'm truly disappointed that the one time I decide to spend so much on a bathing suit; I don't have it. It is currently at the owners of the house I sold a long time ago and I'm too scared to drive all the way over their and try and find it. I was sent a "please review" email and so I sent this. Funny, I just received this email "Your Review Has Been Moderated" "Our staff has read your review and values your contribution even though it did not meet all our website guidelines. Please review our guidelines here. Thanks for sharing, and we hope to publish next time!" Is "moderated" the new word for CENSORED for honesty???? Garnett Hill, you're despicable and unconstitutional on top of it all!! LOL! My comments will now be shared on every single social media site, all my upper-middle-class-online-clothes-buyin friends, and god forbid....Twitter! Very disappointed, KG

Love their products but customer service lost my business. I have been a steady, high value customer for years. My last two orders were over $500 together, to give an idea. But I'm afraid I have no choice left but to opt to take my business elsewhere. Long story short -- I ordered a birthday present for my daughter. It never arrived, I was never notified. 6 separate customer service attempts (on my part) later, I found out it was because I transposed the last few zip-code digits on the online order. Apparently, we are all supposed to first guess?, then call, write, and try to chat incessantly for hours on end to get a response when a package doesn't arrive. And when we do get a response it's this -- "We don't care if you are unhappy with our customer service." Needless to say, birthday has long since passed, along with picture day, when the outfit would have been used. My birthday girl is bummed, I lost about 20 hours in trying to track down what happened with the order before I finally gave up and just cancelled the order.

Like the others have said, don't buy from them. I paid more than $70 for shipping and now have to pay an additional charge to send them back. In total, I'm going to end up spending $80 to try on dresses and shoes. What a waste. The box also came already completely open. I don't know of any other companies that claim "free returns and exchanges" that aren't free. I called to complain but it fell on deaf ears. Like another reviewer said, this is the nail in the coffin. If market best practice with reasonable shipping and the expectation that the customer matters mean anything, don't buy from Garnet Hill. They're not in the business to keep customers.

I had a similar experience to others who ordered a product, it was never shipped, and when I called to inquire about it, they literally told me it was being loaded onto a truck "as we speak" and so therefore the order couldn't be canceled. It wasn't true. They actually canceled the order and when I called back days later to check on the order (since I never got a shipping confirmation email) they said the order had been canceled. However I had not been notified. So frustrating. No apology, no discount offered, nothing. I'll never buy from them.

One of the absolutly LAMEST companies doing business online. Yes, I know it's the pandemic, but they've made NO effort to contact me about 2 orders I placed on May 18 & 20 except to charge me for them. I called 3 times: once I got their call center & the line disconnected after waiting 20 minutes listening to muzak; the 2nd time I got someone on the phone after 15 minutes or so. She was nice and tried to help. She was at a call center; didn't work for Garnet Hill. Said I should call them during their East Coast working hours. I did. Not friendly at all. No effort to track my order except to say they're shipping late. The next day I got a refund from one order. The email about the refund was from my credit card company. Garnet Hill has said NOTHING. They're still holding on to my money from the first order. I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THEM AGAIN. PERIOD.

I purchased 2 items from Garnet Hill recently. They didn't fit so I sent them back to GH. It's been 21/2 months and still have not received a refund. I emailed GH many times and they said they need the tracking number for the package I sent back. Due to COVID, I didn't take the package into the post office, but put it in the mail box. So I did not get a tracking number. Now I'm out $300! They didn't seem to care about my situation at all. I'm so disappointed! Needless to say, I will never order anything from Garnet Hill again!!!
