The room is very comfortable and it has a balcon with very beautiful views of the lake of Locarno. The bed is comfortable and all is very clean. The staff was very friendly with me and he explained me all I can do in the city and surroundings. Also, when I do the check-out, he offered me a coffee. ||On the other hand, the price is expensive, but it is Switzerland. The bathroom is not inside the room, but it is Switzerland again.

Garni Dolcevita is a hotel located in Locarno, a city in Ticino region, in Switzerland. The room is very comfortable and it has a balcon with very beautiful views of the Lake of Locarno. The bed is comfortable and all is very clean. The staff was very friendly with me, he explained me all I could do in the city and surroundings. A very simple Hotel which made it a real gem. No TV in the rooms which was great. We had a room with a small balcony overlooking the town below. Rooms painted brightly which made them so homey. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was plentiful . Hotel was relatively easy to find. Catch a bus up to the hotel. Most days we walked down to the main part of town. Hotel was close to some of the Tourist sites.Would stay there again and would recommend to all. No lift if you have difficulty walking up stairs

This was a fun adventure finding the B&B and experiencing one of our best meals during our trip at a near by restaurant which the manager recommended. The room was clean and the bathrooms very accessible. We just wish we'd had spent more than one night there so we could have explored the area more.

Great view of the Lago Maggiore - both from the balcony and the breakfast room. Nice breakfast. Close to the Funicolare - which will take you down to the centre. Also close to the Madonna del Sasso which is definitely worth visiting.

We went here for 2 nights, and though it's one of the most "cheap" hotels in the city I must say that the price is a bit too much for what we got (plus the toilets are shared, which despite being most of the time free was sort of an inconvenience). The service is good and the personnel friendly, plus the breakfast was included (if you don't include it there is anyway a groceries store just next to the hotel). You can access it via funi (too expensive, 7.20 per 2-way ticket, passes every 15 mins) or via bus number 2 (half the price, but 2 buses per hour max). ||||In an overall ok for the price (compared to the other options) and situated not too far. ||||Also, something that bothered me a lot: You're supposed to pay cash, it was written nowhere, I had to go to the city and back just to withdraw the money (just before our train leaved...)

We stayed there for the second time and for the weekend. The hotel is up the hill and above the city of Locarno... hence, you havae a great view over whole area (lake, city and mountains). The rooms are small but nice and the staff of the hotel is pleased to help. We will stay there again as we will return to Locarno in the upcoming future.

We had a great time, the room was a little bit small but so cosy. We had the "cottage" apartment and the view was amazing. It was very quiet And finally the staff was nice!
