Great place to unwind and immerse in nature with amazing views of Pacific Ocean. One can have a picnic or just stop on your way spend an hour or more. Trails are extremely well maintained with easy access allowing visitors with multiple options. Took about less than 2 hours to cover main marked trails. People were exploring further by reaching up the cliffs and/or going down to the water. Though there is a sign on PCH 1 south, one could miss it; however one can get curious and stop seeing many parked cars.
Tip: PCH 1 drive - it’s worth stopping when you see many cars parked.

There is a well-maintained walking path along the coastline atop a cliff. It is close to a campsite and has portable restrooms. There are both main trails and smaller paths.
However, if you take one of the smaller paths, some may lead to steep drop-offs, so it is recommended to leave before sunset.

As photographers and nature lovers, we can't recommend the Bluff Trail and Garrapata State Park enough! It's incredible views are epic and the perfect backdrop for any couple who loves adventure and dramatic scenery.

A must stop on the way to explore Big Sur. Perfect settings for portraiture with long lenses to leverage some background compression. Loved my family photos there. Wonderful hike.

Stunning scenery. Trail goes along the cliffs above the ocean with the Mountains behind. It was windy but the path was packed and pretty leveled so it wasn't an issue for my father's ankle. There is limited parking here and you have to cross highway 1 so be careful! There is a pretty little waterfall at the bridge and wildflowers everywhere! I like that there is a trail up to the mountains from the same parking area in case you wanted to see something a bit different and try a more challenging hike.

This is a great stop for short hike or over an hour hike if you like. The trail connects to Soberanes point. Great views of the ocean and a beautiful foot bridge over a waterfall. No access to the beach here.

Magnificent ocean view. A must go place!
A trail full of wilderness plants, overlooking the rocky water of the ocean. Lots of kelps washing onto the cliffs. There are many vantage points for the ocean. Very easy and beautiful trail good for families of all ages.

Beautiful little trail. Not many people on it. Gorgeous views. The trail is great for a run or if you just feel like walking alongside the coast. This trail is just before Garrapata State Park Trail(s).
